About to go back to my 8600GT and throw this pos out the window. It runs way, way, way too hot and freezes too much. Idles at around 61C and hits 70C or so when gaming even at lower resolutions and I don't even notice much performance difference between this and my old 8600 before it overheats.

Excellent board. The mail-in thing was obviously intended not to be actually done. It's a hassle and the postage will eat a chunk out of the small refund. They obviously just wanted to be able to fake-mark-down the board. Oh, and this comment box stinks. Seriously, everything I type gets a do-not-except-links-and-company-names error.

I just upgraded from an 8600gt to this and wow, the difference in performance is amazing. I also upgraded my 20 inch CRT monitor to a 24 inch HD lcd and am running all my games on this card at 1920x1080 flawlessly. Oh and the card works great on my PCIe 1.0 motherboard, just in case anyone was concerned about that. Great card for a great price.

Since this card has a small fan on it, it really needs some breathing room to work. I put it in my Dell Vostro 220 mini tower (normal size tower but shorter), and I kept having really weird problems with it. The monitor would give Signal Lost and then the computer would reboot after a few moments or hang. It's worked fine in normal cases, so keep that in mind when getting this card.

I have bought this video card because its 2 Dual DVI output that I need to run with an external Matrox video card (3HeadToGo)and support numeric signal instead of analogic like VGA (When your video card have only one VGA and one DVI,you have to use the VGA output to work with a Matrox external card). I use 3 monitors (22 inch) with this configuration and have 1680 x 1050 ON EACH SCREENS! without losing graphic acceleration. It is nice to play FS-X in mutli screen an other games too. Also, this card is compatible to Second Life.

I changed from a stock vedio card to this one. I do some gaming and this card is a big difference. I have no trouble or the I had before. I can set the setting to max and still have great frame rate. The card works good and the shipping and service was top notch. I would recomend this card for most any computer.

Card is able to handle any game that I play on good settings. Plays Bad Company 2 good, and Modern Warfare 2 completely maxed. Does not require a 6-pin connector. BFG customer support, tradeup program, and warranty are awesome. Comments: Upgraded from 8600GT and it was worth every penny!

If you guys just went to the nvidia site you would see in the specifications that the card is rated for 105c. They run about 80-85c standard, that is not considered hot for video cards these days. Excellent card. Great price.

I've played Napoleon: Total War, BF 2, Oblivion, Left 4 Dead, Star Trek Online, COD MW2 and they all run great. I might upgrade if I start getting into more graphic-intense games in the future, but this card is a good deal.

I installed this low-power card and immediately noticed that it idled at 60C and under game conditions or simple benchmarks, it climbed to 80C and froze momentarily, after which it continued to run erratically until a reboot, then the same story. When it worked, it ran a 3D benchmark at an average of 61 fps, but as soon as it reached 80C, it would only run at 7 fps, a dramatic drop-off.I couldn't even play simple games.Tech support had no answers.

Excellent cards, I got three of these to run sli on an Asus 780i SLI. I'm running two of the three. I don't have the right connector for three. Runs great on pretty much anything I throw at it. These do run hot, I think an after market cooler would be the best solution.

I have bought this card about a week ago. I upgraded from an MSI 86000GT OC. It was definitely a significant boost in performance! I found my FPS to double and triple! I have tried Crysis, Modern Warfare 2, COD4, Bad Company 2 and Far Cry 2. Modern Warfare 2 FLIES at 1680x1050 4xAA and max settings (85FPS). Crysis runs great on High settings (20-35FPS), Very High not that playable (15-25FPS). COD4 Max no problem, Far Cry 2 plays well on Very High (25FPS), and Bad Company 2 is playable on High (25FPS). My computer also has E6320 1.86GHz, 2GB 667MHz RAM. Great performance for the price and I am VERY happy with it! Thx!

Casual Gamer here, For the price this is a great card for the money, quiet fan and really fast for this price range, Download the Drivers Important!, This is the low power, underclocked version so about 20% less than a regular 9800 GT, but also easy on the power supply and pocket book.
