Cons: - Installation is very difficult- Instruction manual is not very clear- Comes with very thick layer of pre-applied thermal compound (too much results in poor performance)

Pros: + Excellent cooling performance for the price+ Completely inaudible+ Fan attachment system makes it easy to work with RAM of different heights, you can just raise the fan up a bit
Comment:
On any other cooler the difficult installation would probably drop  my rating to a 2 star... but the performance I'm getting from this thing and the silence is just incredible.Note that I replaced the thermal compound with Arctic Silver 5... IDK if this is particularly good stuff or not, but the heatsink had a thick layer spread to the very edges pre-applied, so I felt like replacing it. My temperatures are fantastic!I'm using it for my i5-4690K, and at stock voltage I'm getting ~35C idle temps and ~55C under 100% CPU load.

Cons: installation can be a pain

Pros: extremely quiet, good cooling
Comment:
This cooler's fan is exceptionally quiet; during regular use I can hear the hard drive over the fans (and I wouldn't consider my hard drive to be noisy in the first place). The cooling performance probably won't be the best you can find; but it does a very good job; my CPU never goes over 60 degrees and I'm using this in a mATX case with poor overall airflow. The installation is a bit tricky; the included wrench isn't very useful unless you have a lot of clearance around the CPU, but once you get it mounted the heatsink feels solid.

Cons: The performance is mediocre and what ever you do do not use the stock thermal paste as it will reduce the performance do yourself a favor and use another thermal paste as I saw a 10 degree difference

Pros: Good looking cooler with easy AMD mounting
Comment:
I bought this cooler when it was on sale I would not pay full price for this cooler I will definitely buy again if its on sale

Cons: None.

Pros: Combination of temps and dbA in this are 2nd to none in this class.
Comment:
Don't normally write reviews, but Richard W's great customer service made me feel compelled. Temps at idle: Down 50%+Temps at full loud: -25CHowever, keeping temps down is good, but what was equally important for me was silence. I can't even hear this thing. My case is open and I need to listen hard to hear it on max speeds.Pure Rock vs. 212 evo benchmarks show this is SLIGHTLY worse than the 212 at managing temps. However, there were NO benchmarks comparing their noise levels - which clearly swings in PR's favor by a SIGNIFICANT margin. This thing eats the 212 evo alive when we're talking "total package" - performance (Temps AS WELL as noise) to price ratio. My only quarrel with this product was the absolute terrible instructions on how to hook the fan up to the heatsink. I advise future buyers to find YouTube installation tutorials for BQ! Dark Rock.B.
