Its a good little webcam for Skype or any chat. The rubber stand can't stay on my 24" LED monitor. For 15$ you cant go wrong if you have budget.

Pros: -Very good image quality-Good aesthetics-Nice and flexible mount
Comment:
The camera has excellent image quality right out of the box without any adjustments. Detected and installed immediately in Windows and worked flawlessly with a variety of video chats including Skype and Google Talk. Steady without hiccups recording at 720p. Was an absolute bargain at the sale price!

Cons: bloatware CD

Pros: 720p; can operate without the bloatware CD
Comment:
Nice cam for $10; firmware 1.1 which is good as FW 1.0 has problems with skype.Nice fleck of dust behind the lens but for $10 I'm not complaining.Installation of the bloatware CD does some really strange things to my computer - all of my peripherals were renumerated (even my extra monitors), so I restored my system and now I operate without the bloatware CD as the camera can operate without the bloatware.

Cons: A bit slow on low light condition

Pros: Great little camera, probably the best cost/benefit 720P camera on the market
Comment:
This is a great little camera especially on it's on sale price of about 12 bucks.Video looks good, and microphone works as expected. I noticed it can be a bit slow focusing on low light condition but nothing serious.Plug and play camera on Windows 7 no need for software or anything else, it will be picked by the OS as soon as you plug the USB cable. You will be hard pressed to find a camera this good for a similar price.

Cons: Requires Version 1.1 to work with Skype

Pros: Good Webcam with Great Image Quality at a Good Price
Comment:
This webcam has great image quality. Much better than any other webcam I've owned, but this is the first one I've owned with higher than VGA resolution capability. The added 3rd-party software is also useful for further controlling the webcam's image -- especially for zooming/cropping the image. It comes with many other features that I won't use, that may be attractive and fun for a teenager...The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars, is because I have not been able to get it to work with a couple of programs, and most especially with Yahoo Instant Messenger. HP seems to be aware of this as it is referenced vaguely on the HP support website, but without a solution that works/makes sense. I'm not sure what the issue is exactly. Fortunately I bought this to work with a specific program with which it works fine (called "ICU2"). Maybe Yahoo doesn't accommodate higher resolution cameras -- I don't know. Haven't tried it yet with Skype.

Cons: -mounting takes a bit of work

Pros: -great quality

Bought this on sale for $12. Worth every penny as the other side mentioned video quality is good. Only thing is the mounting takes some time to play with but not a big issue at all.

Cons: Auto focus is a bit flaky. Clamp is a bit fiddly

Pros: Good deal at the sale price
Comment:
Hard to complain about this device at the sale price of $11. Works well enough to suite my purposes which aren't very demanding. I had to fiddle with the mounting system a bit, and I notice some lag with auto-focus. The software is comprehensive enough. Grab it at the sale price!

Cons: -Autofocus and autoexposure by default

Pros: $10? Unbeatable for a 720p webcam720pBuilt in mic is above average quality
Comment:
This webcam works fairly well, and the software actually does a very nice job for recording 720p webcam videos for youtube, which i was not expecting, as most stock software is trash.NOTES:The first thing you're gonna want to do with this webcam is turn off autofocus, it's not needed. Next, set your exposure to -6 instead of auto. This will keep the framerate at a solid 30 at all times. To compensate for the dark image, raise the brightness. This webcam responds significantly better to increased brightness than others, and will not cause the image to wash out.The webcam likes to occasionally 'reset' so just go into your options menu again and readjust the brightness if this happens.

Pros: 10$ for 720p with AutofocusImage quality is goodNot much lag
Comment:
Well for 10$ when I bought it was a stunning deal. 720p webcam for that price is always a good deal. The image quality is good but i wouldn't use the microphone.

Cons: Color reproduction inaccurate

Pros: Price (10 bucks!)720p
Comment:
The image quality is acceptable, but the color reproduction could be better. The color is a little washed out. But for $10, it's perfect for a project of mine.

Cons: The bracket does not hang on LCD monitor well, it is spring loaded thus closes in on itself almost shooting itself off the monitor.

Pros: Easy to setup with Windows 8 (just works when plugged in). Video quality is good for 10$ I paid.
Comment:
This was a 10$ special I bought to replace the old Logitech that didn't work with Windows 8. Was a little surprised by the color as it was hard to tell that it was a dark burgandy/brown and not black (have to look close at picture). Only major complaint is the bracket is spring loaded and always wants to close on itself, so now it sits on the desk.

Cons: Annoying auto-focus

Pros: Great quality. Works great with OpenCV!
Comment:
Great quality webcam for a very good price. I haven't bothered configuring it since I only use it for doing some image processing, but the auto-focus is a pain to watch and happens unexpectedly and without reason.

Cons: not as clear as LifeCam

Pros: cheap, good cord length, HD, audio sound good
Comment:
Not as clear as the Lifecam I had before the cat chewed the cord but for the price{bought on sale for 10bucks} you can't beat it. I use it for blogtv and with a 15 foot usb extention it work well to set up really high.

Cons: The clip/mount is poorly built

Pros: Easy to install, good video quality, built in mic is clear
Comment:
Was on the black Friday sale for $10, so I thought I'd give it a shot. There's really nothing to complain about regarding the camera function, it was easy to set up, I installed the software fine and Skype works flawlessly. The clip that mounts on your monitor is poor, I wish HP would've redesigned that because I feel like the clip to the top of the monitor will pop off any second, it is very insecure. So that's what's preventing me from giving the 5*'s. Other than that, really, for $10 you really can't ask for more/
