Cons: Expensive (but it's worth it)

Pros: Quiet, high quality ("you know the Germans always make good stuff")
Comment:
Many years ago, when you had the AMD Athlon chips, I needed a quiet power supply, but the companies touting quiet power supplies seemed to be making false claims. I know because I bought one, and it was louder than a power supply from another maker that didn't advertise quiet performance. So since then I've been skeptical of anything that's supposed to be quiet.Well, I needed to hush my Dell computer, as it was loud and no longer under warranty. I figured a company whose name is Be Quiet was staking its reputation on just that. And German engineering was very attractive too, since attention to detail is required for a high-quality product. So I bought into it, and bought it. The package was factory-sealed with tape on the lid, and shrink-wrapped. The box and all contents were very high quality indeed. Tons of cables, velcro straps and such. The instructions were quite well-written, but could use a little more finesse to answer all questions. It was hard to physically attach the PS to my Dell, since the computer case is a little small for this full-size power supply, and Dell stock power supply is smaller. I was eventually able to make it fit. You can use either the usual small screws that require a screwdriver, or large screw heads that can be turned by hand. I used the latter. So I hooked it up and turned it on. Amazing, I couldn't hear the PS, I could only hear the whining of the CPU fan (80mm Foxconn, I think). When I put my ear up to the power supply vent, I cannot distinctly hear the PS fan, as the CPU fan noise Is louder than anything else.I also installed the 80mm case fan by Be Quiet. That also reduced the noise over the Foxconn 90mm case fan that came with the Dell.So all in all, I'm happy. It really is quiet. No false advertising, I'm happy and relieved to say. Some people may think it's not worth the price, but when you consider you have to live and work with your PC day and day out, wiping out the noise is a real improvement in quality of life.

Cons: Cost a little more then the rest, but worth it.

Pros: Quiet-quiet-quietNo coil wineStable voltages
Comment:
Easy install in Coolmaster HAF XP, tons of vecro cable ties (every bundled cable has one plus the extra's)Replaced a Corsair GS series, that the fan was getting old and making noise, but worst off all terrible coil wine when graphics card under load, could hear it during quiet game passages. Glad to say the Be Quiet lived up to its name, the loudest thing in my case is now my storage drive.System: i7 3770K oc to 4800 H220 water cooled, with Asus GTX670 top OC’d
