This was the great concept! I have two drive bays in my mATX setup, and only require/wanted to make use of one particular bay. I stumbled across this and whoever believed of it is a GENIUS. Shops my camera and video camera cables, further media cards (USB stick, CF, SD, ect), further zip ties for when I have to open the computer up and move cables around, and any further junk you might find valuable and need it at hand. Building is strong enough (Hey, it's plastic) and the clasp works good. Fits CD's, they just can't be in any case. Fantastic notion. I appreciate it, and it was the final piece for my develop.

Front panel is produced of steel. Entirely inconspicuous, excellent for hiding stuff or just storing factors that generally lie on your desk; operates just like a drawer!!!! WOW!~ Not the sturdiest of factors, but I doubt it'll break taking into consideration that it's designed to be utilised just as a drawer; not a big con, but it's a small high priced for what is largely plastic. Therefore, 1 egg has been removed due to the product's somewhat poor develop excellent in comparison to its cost. I've heard terrible factors about the spring mechanism, but it's been working completely so far even beneath considerable weight. It would be good if the item have been constructed totally of metal, but that also appears somewhat unnecessary.

Ideal concept ever!!Seriously slick searching and really useful! Plastic frame rails stick slightly when mounted, but no large issue in overall performance. Prepared to pay a lot more for a bit heavier building.

Spring loaded catch -- no handle to grab, just a light tap and drawer opens. No problems with alignment or binding. Handy tray inside. Purchased two...one for client develop, liked it so considerably, next order I got a single for myself. Wouldn't you know it mine arrived minus the tray. Not worth the hassle to RMA for it, but will expense them an egg! Newegg Rocks!

Adore this point! Holds a good amount of stuff. Keeps my SD cards, flash drives, added screws, and so forth organized and constantly by the computer system. Match is a tiny bit off, not negative and for this price tag I can't take off an egg. I don't look to have the spring concern other customers are reporting, mine pops proper out. Perhaps it fits as well tightly in their case. You won't regret receiving a single of these.

light, easy, the push to release is good, significantly greater than other draweres i have had, i like the uncomplicated front, ought to blend in with numerous case appears, really should be capable to be simply modified to match my antec 900 in a stealth way. NO SUCH Thing AS A CON. . unpacked it, slipped it in, loaded it full of my mem cards and usb drives and a mp3 player information cable, got room to spare. nicely, 1 con, shoulda ordered additional A DOUBLE DEEP DRAWER WOULD SELL Nicely Too.... thinkin that all the pcs right here in this home,, all six of them will be gettin some of these.. thanks newegg, thanks AOC...

-Front panel of drawer is metal, good thickness.-Looks like a regular panel, and the spring mechanism doesn't appear super clear because it only opens a tad.-Drawer can hold a very good amount of stuff. -Other than the front, it is all plastic. -Really the nice notion.-No difficulties with installation.-Completely fine with ผ, would pay more for a higher excellent one particular (metal, slightly thinner in most places).-The smaller sized drawer is also a nice concept, but often it gets in the way. It's fine, though, mainly because it's stupid straightforward to take away, meaning if you don't like it, you can pick it out and discard it. Perhaps use it to hold screws or something elsewhere.

Managed to stealth it flush among my front panel drives and drive bay covers and it appears awesome cuz you cant see exactly where it is, space inside drawer huge enough to hold a flat cell phone and semi flat camera side by side and then some, has a separate container for little products, has a top cover so absolutely nothing comes out of it when tilting your computer system to the side, push to open/close function is nice, front panel of bay box is metal Mounting it requires some function and adjusting, you have to squeeze and pivot this bay box into a drive bay a bit simply because it doesnt just slide in, screws to hold it in must be placed with care, dont put all 4 screws in, spot at least one screw in mounting holes on either side to retain the bay box level when opening and closing it, dont tighten the screws too a lot in order for the drawer to open and closes adequately Inside my AOC bay box:Samsung Sway cell phoneCannon SD 1000 cameraLaptop memoryscrews, memory cards, pennies, and so on

a drawer that uses waste space is excellent concept it went in no difficulty in my cooler master ammo case great for storing light tiny products up to a CD size item I have my USB flash drives and some camera flash cards in the tiny drawer that comes with it the primary component is excellent for CD's as lengthy as they are in paper sleeves to safeguard them. I have a MP3 player and earbuds ion the drawer along with adapters I did not get the patent on something like this that and a tiny not robust so can't more than load it with you pennies great present for the particular person that thought they needed nothing at all as long as they have wasted drive bay spave

Good black color, straightforward to install two.five" SATA drive into. Slim. None that I can consider of. It's worked fine for me as a result far but it has only been a week. I bought this to run my old laptop's 2.five" tough drive. I didn't run into any bumps at all. I would suggest this simply because it performs fine and it has an desirable value. Some persons say the blue light is too significantly but i really didn't notice it.

It's a discrete storage box that appears like an empty ODD bay. Excellent for hiding and/or storing stuff. None so far. I have five five.25" drive bays, of which I'll only ever use 3... a couple of these points are a great way get some use out of these unoccupied bays.

Nifty concept. Push-in to pop the drawer out.Comes with a tiny internal tray for screws and such. I have three of these that I have installed in three diverse situations. Particularly in the tool-less cases, the drawer binds and doesn't disengage freely. You have to pry it out. That also takes place with the screw-primarily based cases, but there you can at least keep away from tightening the screw so a lot. But then the draw can move too considerably. Tough to get the correct balance among "firmly in spot" and "won't slide out any a lot more".

it's a handy location to hold stuff. light stuff. light, small stuff. genuinely light, modest stuff. study other testimonials and decided to give it a shot anyway. most had been spot on. lackluster functionality. plastic case is flimsy. following install, place in a couple modest tools in it which created it to heavy for the drawer to open. going to leave it in case, just have to reevaluate, what i seriously want to have this handy/accessible. more than priced for plastic construction. would have gladly paid double for a very good strong all-metal case.

I have a will need for an accessable storage bay like this. I utilised a TT storage bay box in my old create but choose this 1. Want the spring to open it was a small stronger. I forsee the day that it won't opne any longer. That is the reason for the 1 egg deduction. Wonderful for my Computer tools (screwdriver, razor blades, thermal paste, wire ties, and so on...)

Sturdy little box, fit good, flush to my case and quite substantially matches the other bezels so it looks clean. Very good amount of space inside has additional tray for screws and such, holds my mp3 player, modest screwdriver mini mag light and added screws. None, its a drawer it fits the bay. Bought 2. Love the push pull style.

able to accommodate a massive quantity of flash drives and memory cards that have been lying about my area for some time. Not flush with my case faceplate. It sort of sticks out on one side and is pushed in on the other. the screw holes are a bit off. It does not look to want to come out when the drawer is pushed to be released. the bottom of the drawer faceplate rubs on the cover to my case, will require to sand a small bit to make it slide smoothly. created of plastic which makes it look a bit flimsy. even though I am obtaining those few stated problems, for how cheap it was, it is worth it. I know there are others out there, and will get one of them at a later date. for the time getting, this 1 is carrying out almost everything I want.
