Cons: Biggest downside is too few usb ports. The newer model NUCs have fixed this.

Pros: Small, quiet.
Comment:
Great little machines. They've become the standard PC for the sales and operations people at my company. Compact, quiet, and mountable to the back of most monitors so you can keep desks free of clutter.Have had one NUC out of about 15 so far with some issues out of the box but it looks like that was most likely bad ram.

Cons: package does not include the power cord (weird marketing)

Pros: tiny size, quiet, low power usage, compact, powerful, great graphic performance, best of barebone pc.
Comment:
In general, this is what I've been waiting for years. A small compact but powerful barebone PC. The Intel really made it out. A perfect box for HTPC or office/home desktop. I like it a lot. It does not come with any fan inside the box, so it runs silent but still manage the heat very well. Some small cons:if plug in wireless mouse/keyboard receiver, better use a USB extension cable or hub. Directly plug the USB receiver on to NUC may experience some interference. The package does not include the power cord, so other than purchasing mSATA SSD hard drive and SODIMM RAN, the buyer would have to get a laptop power adapter cord. Thanks to NICX, they provide a free power cord when I purchased my NUC.Pricing:$309 isn't a bad quote consider the design and power of this tiny PC box. But after getting a mSATA SSD and 8GB RAM, the total cost to build a working NUC desktop is around $570 after tax. I wish the cost could be lower a bit down to $500 but that is just my personal wish.

Cons: None

Pros: Runs Mac OSX 10.8.4 like a champ!
Comment:
Bought this to Hackintosh. It works great. Updated to the latest 0042 BIOS and the system doesn't heat up like it used to with 0032. Its nearly dead silent. Runs great. Recommended for either Windows or Mac OSX.

Cons: External Power brick

Pros: Tiny Footprint, reasonable power
Comment:
I have been waiting for a product like this for years. This makes itx look big. With mSata drives and SODIMMs being common and on par pricewise with their larger desktop counterparts, there's not many drawbacks to this kind of tiny unit.i3 CPU, 8GB RAM and a 128GB SSD for a bit over 500$ after taxes is nothing to sneeze at. Stick that in a tiny 4x4x2 box, give it the bare minimum necessary connectors (hdmi, usb, ethernet and power) and you're set to tackle any basic computing task. These are finally what the atoms tried to be a few years ago. These units get almost everything right finally, and I will likely be buying a number of them (just ordered my 2nd one)

Cons: limited internal storage options.

Pros: Very small form factor, no noise.
Comment:
Small, quiet and the I3 Processor makes it quite zippy. With a wireless keyboard this makes a great HTPC that connects to a network or external storage. Built with 4GB of Ram and a small 32GB mSATA SSD running Windows 8. Would highly recommend. The quality of the unit is what one would expect from Intel. HD video works great. Price is reasonable.
