Cons: Intel is a more expensive brand overall

Pros: Solid Intel brand board and components
Comment:
Quality over Quantity. This board has a reasonable set of features that covers most use cases and they make sure that quality parts are included such as Intel chipsets for the onboard NIC. You won't find an intel board crammed to the brim with a pile of cheap bells and whistles to pad the feature list, so you know the money is going into quality components. The price isn't optimal compared to other brands, but I've never seen them cut a corner when it comes to quality unlike most other brands out there.

Cons: Loud Intel jingle on startup, RAM configuration issues

Pros: SLI/Crossfire support, USB 3.0, SATA 3
Comment:
Overall a good board, but two issues I had when first installing and configuring: 1. The Intel jingle at start up is quite loud and is a bit startling, but can be turned off in BIOS (Boot > Startup Sound)2. The installation instructions say to put RAM in slots 1+3. The computer failed to boot until I put the RAM in slots 2+4. I found this out from other people who purchased the same board and it seems to be a common issue. Runs great now.

Cons: Kinda pricey, SATA confiruration, ease of setup.

Pros: Good features for an Intel board, BIOS update  gives a nice GUI.
Comment:
Bought this for my first Intel gaming build. Added an Ivy bridge i7, Corsair H50 cooler, Galaxy Geforce 580, Intel 320 series 80 GB SSD, 3 X WD Black 500 GB HDD, 2 Corsair Vengeance 2 X 4GB DDR3 kits, and Corsair HX 750 PSU.Updated the Bios right away and it gave a nicer mouse/keyboard BIOS GUI. I don't over clock so I can't touch on that. Install Windows 7 x64 was a pain. The board has a Marvell SATA controller and an Intel. The Intel controller is used on the Blue SATA ports. Windows kept trying to put the MBR on one of my WD Blacks on the Marvell controller even though SATA 0/1 is on the Intel.Even after playing with the BIOS settings my only way around it was to unplug the WD's from the Marvel SATA ports, install Win 7, then after it was installed plug them back in. That allowed Windows to put the MBR on the SSD on SATA 0 (Intel controller).Once that was done I found I kept getting BSOD's and freezing. After researching it, appeared to be the RAM. It didn't like having 2 kits of that Corsair vengeance (even with various BIOS settings. Swapped it for one kit of 4 X 4GB Kingston and everything seems to have stabilized. Most of the trouble was likely the Rams fault in all fairness.
