Cools extremely properly, i have lost a very good ten-13 degrees on my GPU temp doesn't really fit my Foxconn C51XEM2AA Mobo, which has a securing tab for video cards, that now forces the fan to be a tiny tilted im commonly delighted, the sound isnt practically as poor as individuals are creating it out to be, but i already had 7 fans inside my case, whats 2 more?

It's a fan and a vent for hot air from my case. It's not extremely effectively made. For some reason there is a plug inside of the case which when they shipped mine was unplugged and I had to get a pair of locking surgical scissors to plug it back in to get it to perform. It also runs into the heat sink of my M.S.I. P45 board. It also hits the ram. I also don't understand why when people make these cards that they place the vent up and not down. I'm placing it over my VIDEO CARD to vent the heat from that, not attempting to break the laws of physics by sucking heat down and then out of my case. Due to the fact I'm not returning it a small perform with the Dr.emel tends to make brief perform of fittment troubles. Which could be a problem simply because the issues has currently turn out to be squirrely and doesn't appear like its going to last as well long. I'd keep away from this item and manufacturer. They don't appear to up on top quality and don't really care. New Egg did have some errors in their create up in the functions, but New Egg created good and is a high quality retailer. I'd would advocate staying away from this if you have any sort of massive North Bridge heat sinks or ram slots that are close to your PCI-E slots since unless you want to cut the case of the fan up it almost certainly won't fit. Also if you cut it up it'll most likely start out acting screwy like mine and then you're actually screw.ed lead to not you can't return it for RMA. Not a excellent item for the cash.

Quiet, pumps out a lot of air, looks nice. Did not match into my motherboard. Had to put a rubber washer, and use an extended bolt to get it to match.

Simply match into the case and hooked up promptly. Solved most of my cooling concerns. I am low-tech, and this is an uncomplicated install. Says to install screw to hold it in location...does not include things like screw.

Does a fantastic job of removing heat from my best GPU. I meticulously removed the mounting bracket then clipped away at the metal so that I could flip the cooler and super glued the bracket back on. Now the front fan blows air more than the prime of the GPU whilst the turbine pulls that hot air from under and exhaust it out the back Would be good if it was reversible by style With my SLI setup on a Sabertooth x58 mobo I found my leading GTX460 was running 10-20c hotter then the reduce card generating a lot of undesirable fan noise. After some experimenting I discovered that moving my X-FI to the decrease slot (bloked one of the reduce gtx fans) and moving my intell nic to the top rated slot (much smaller card so it uncovered most of the PCB of the prime gtx) helped to balance the heat in between the two. Then by placing an 80mm fan directly on top rated of the vid card the temps fell inside 5-7c of each other. This cooler replaces that 80mm in a additional safe way and operates just as effectively if not far better.

Wonderful Fan. My video card temps dropped from 55c down to 38c at idle. Just make positive you have the fan portion blowing onto the video card. The fan gets noisy when you have it turned up all the way, but it really does a wonderful job cooling when turned up half way. None Purchase one, they are fantastic.

I Bought this fan to replace a Vantec Spectrum pci slot fan. Vantec was very good, this is better. This fan is not as noisy as the Vantec, especially on high! I have an XFX GTX260 XXX, with this fan it idles about 42c and only reaches the decrease 60's under load. (idles @ 50c without this fan).I like the squirrel cage exhaust, truly pushes alot of hot air out of my case. I would recommend this fan to anybody wanting a little extra cooling for your GPU or just for your case. Blue LED is kinda lame, not nearly as bright as my old fan, but i didn't obtain it for the light! As constantly, Newegg was on time with shipping, 3 day shipping arrived in two days. Wouldn't shop anywhere else for my computer needs.

It performs just as advertised, blowing air anyplace you want and exaust out the back. The fan speed is also adjustable which performs just fine, and even although men and women mentioned it gets loud, I truly don't assume it's too negative even on high. Also the blue led it a good touch. Only a single led which is kind of silly, and it's blue not red just be warned. Kinda want it fit in a pci-e slot also but that's not a big deal.

Infinitely variable speed plus 1 fan that you can aim. Basic to install. Works as advertised. Fairly loud at 100% speed.Sort of pricey for 2 fans and a basic speed controller. It is installed in between a GTX 285 and a LSI RAID card. The RAID card utilised to overheat and malfunction from the video card roasting it. That stopped quickly.About 50-60% throttle is almost silent, and moves a decent quantity of air.The interior fan can be rotated 360° to blow up or down or any direction between. It can only be rotated on one particular axis, so you can\'t adjust it in or out.The LED on the 1 they shipped me was blue, but I don't actually care.

This Product is fantastic I imply i got 10 degrees off of my video card I own a evga 260 Core 216 supperclocked edition and when i play crysis it goes up to 75 degrees and now with this item it only goes up to 64 degrees of temp..On complete load ..I would advise it to every 1 I hope it lasts me a lengthy time ... The fan sounds okay at 50 percent but at 60 percent or larger its sound like a jet is landing on your roof.It can get really loud at complete speed.. This is wonderful for the price also it lights up blue makes my case appear nice..i paid about 23 dollars with shipping And i would pay them once more if i had to i just hope it last me a lengthy time ...

It does what it's supposed to do, removes warm air from your case and also circulates air in the case. The LEDs are certainly not red as advertized. They are blue. I have this setting more than my GTX 285 video card with the exhaust fan removing the hot air and the circulator fan blowing cooler air onto the card. Seems to have helped with heat problems on that card.

Good idea. Dropped the warmer video card I have a number of degrees. From 63-68 degrees Celcius idle to a rather constant 59-62 idle. I think the 'squirrel cage' (the exhaust fan) works great. Nonetheless... the provide fan that blows air at the exhaust fans of other cards demands alot of space to position anyway other than flat. Not really an choices for me operating SLi and a PCIe Tv tuner card. They really should've place 2 smaller fans in there as an alternative of 1 major one particular. It is also kinda annoying to have adjust the fan on the back of the card alternatively of employing software or a remote adjustment knob. My 63-68 and 59-62 degree ranges represent an accumulation of heat more than several hours of use but not load. Load temps have been brought under manage and now reside in the 67-74 range. Prior to I installed this card they have been completely out of manage and could attain the 80 degrees Celcius mark if unchecked.

This knocked a couple of degrees off of my video card temps. Appears fairly great to boot. Seems to move a fair amount or air out of the case as effectively. Good seeking and not too vibrant BLUE led light (over a year because I purchased mine and the description nonetheless says RED--please right this Newegg). Clever style. The exhaust fan sits straight below the cooling intake fan on my Sapphire HD3850 AGP video card. I had to leave an added empty PCI slot involving the two so the squirrel exhaust fan would not work against my video card intake fan. This would possibly be a substantially greater setup if your video card has in intake fan that lines up much better with the internal rotating fan to blast additional air into the card. The exhaust fan performs truly nicely on full blast, but is waaaay to loud at that setting. Crank it down to about 75% appears to be the sweet spot. Not a negative unit for the dollars. Serves double duty with the internal fan for your video card (or what ever) as properly as expelling hot air from the case. This makes it much better than an exhaust only slot cooler, but it also significantly much more high-priced. In the end I nevertheless advise this unit. Newegg nonetheless guidelines the globe!!!

Does a fantastic job at maintaining my GPU cool w/o alot of noise If you run it complete speed then it is incredibly LOUD. Purchased this to replace a loud Thermal Take PCI slot exhaust. I can keep my computer on overnight now w/o it sounding like a window A/C unit.

Cools down a Zotac 8800GT 512MB by ten degres in Idle and about eight degress undet full load making use of mid-higher settings. Loud on Maximun settings, however still acceptable taking into consideration the quantity of air it blows. On MID setting the fan still blows a lot of air and it's not loud.

got two of em for my dual 8800GTs, dropped temps about 10-15Cs. Adjustable fan speed is good, you can tilt the fan. From the description on newegg, i believed the LED was red. Now i have 9 fans in my case that are red, and two blue ones. There are tiny plastic pieces below the card which simulate pci connectors, so the card has some assistance in a pci slot. The problem is, on a board like mine, i had one particular of these on a pciex4 slot, which doesn't match up with the fake pci connectors on the card. Hard to get out my heavy duty exacto and reduce it match. Nevertheless works fine!

It brings down your gpu temps bu about 5c. Some what silent and move a good quantity of air for its size. for the price I paid i was actually expecting far more. Only the 70mm fan seems to push air, the other fan is a small weak. The only way you can feel it pump out air is if you put it on its highest (and loudest) setting. Even on that setting it truly does not aid for the duration of gaming. The temp is only slightly decreased. Just save your dollars and buy a heatsink. this points has the added joy of getting larger on a single side than an additional. This means that when go you to screw it in you see that no matter how considerably you try it wont make it all the way down.

Moves a lot of air out the exhaust. Has a fan controller for the exhaust fan (blower fan). Exhaust air intake on both sides of device. The rear fan tilts as extended as you don't have a PCI card on either side of it. No seperate controller for the tilt fan. The exhaust blower is LOUD at complete speed. I wish is was longer to use the tilt fan. The entire length is fairly brief. The controller knob only controls the exhaust blower fan. It's loud at complete RPMs, but it still moves alot of air at middle settings. It's a great device for exhausting air and the tilt fan is actually quiet.
