Rapidly CPU and easy to set up E6700 three.20GHz. Temp. around 28-32 C The heatsink and fan when pop in the hole look not tight adequate on the motherboard Packing and ship is not good, cause the box has been harm and CPU fan practically break.

three.2 GHz in an beneath 贄 product. This proc might be the final stand for Intel's LGA 775 Pentium Dual-Core offerings, and it may possibly be the last laugh for finish-customers of Intel's LGA 775 Pentium Dual-Core offerings.Functions quite nicely in an OSx86 environment. None. Although overclocking to 񡾵񳀚)Ƨ.two = four. GHz seems to be possible, in practice three.8 GHz seems to be the maximum doable.YMMV, of course.

Retired my 6 year old P4 3.two for this new Dual Core three.2 and what a difference. It's slow by nowadays's standards I know, it's not a six core but it does eerything I will need it to with no hiccups! It plays games really properly also, fantastic cpu for the dough. None Peteetong!!!

Cost powerful Dual core processor to get you up and operating for gaming. Granted this processor will not blow away the quad cores, but honestly for 75% of the gamers this processor will do everything thye will need with no the require of overclocking. Its not a Quad core :) I have eight computers operating Wolfdale processors, I would recommend the line to anyone looking to build a gaming machine on a budget, you wont be dissappointed. I also use the normal cooler kit that comes with processor and do not overclock it. I have been capable to run each and every game I own on max settings. Just make positive you get a half decent video card to go along with this.

Speedy tiny sucker for the cost. The fan....why did it have to be the fan. Wonderful small proc for an every day computer system. The fan tho..wow. This is the first time i have utilised a stock fan and the tabs are no fun. Not to mention it is noisy. Only took an egg off for the included fan. If it had been the cpu alone..five eggs.

I had a evga nf68 sli mobo laying about with a e6400 conroe in it that I had oc'd from 2.13 to 3.two. The board is a monster and didnt want it to go to waste. Thats when I found this new pentium series. I bought this cpu and instantly place it to 3.six ghz. Did some benchmarks and was quite impressed. I then started to up it a bit and right now its at 4.0ghz with low cost thermaltake water cooler setup that genuinely isnt any much better than a 39 dollar artic freezer pro. The benchmarks are amazeing and think it or not I am going to sli some gtz 460's in it. This dual core is laying the smack down on my core two quad that I can only get two.8ghz out of. This chip has a high ྫྷx) multiplier so you don't even need a board that can hit a monster fsb. The board i am useing can but dosn't want too!!! None If you aren't ready to step up to the core i7 and you want to do a newer system than this is it. This cpu rocks!!! I will push it further than 4.0ghz in the future to see where it hits the wall!!

This CPU is an exceptional selection if you're hunting for one thing that is price friendly and has fantastic functionality. I maintain my computer system on for long periods of time and the stock heatsink and fan it comes with keeps it cool. But if you want to do some overclocking, I would highly suggest obtaining a distinct a single just in case just for added security. This CPU may possibly not be as fantastic as the Intel Core i3 or any of the newer CPU's, but I am really happy with the efficiency of the wolfdale. Absolutely none.

Normally i never have problems like this from newegg this is odd. Much more once i set up and test.

Hit 3.6ghz with a rosewill z5 cooler suitable away..then managed to get it stable @ four.0ghz with a 1600FSB 10x multyplier & 1066 memory..I'm still toying with it.. I would recommend watching ur voltage..I practically fried it So far I'm making use of this chip with a evga 680I sli motherboard 2gb 800 ram. & 2x 9600gso 384ddr3. It gets me 40-60 fps on bioshock2 @ 1920x1080 all higher

Incredibly very good overall performance for the price tag you spend. Scored virtually 2100 on functionality test 7 (passmark software). I haven't performed a lot of overclocking yet but it appears promising. Dual-core, three.two GHZ, and 2mb of ram very great for the price. Stock heatsink appears to work really nicely. Idle temps remain about 90F, under load they can get up to 120F, occasionally higher. Actually can't believe of any Seriously good processor, might be older technologies but still quite very good. Do hold in mind that even with overclocking you won't be receiving the overall performance you would get from a newer i3 or i5 seeing as they have the hyperthreading.

Performs great in a 4coredual-sata2 r2. motherboard. It was detected appropriate away by modded BIOS 2.20A along with 2x2GB DDR2-800 Corsair Twin-X kit. It's not cost-free. I even managed to overclock this to 3.55GHz by upping the FSB. I did go to the motherboard internet site and saw that this processor is now officially on their compatibility list.

This is a wonderful processor. I purchased it for an HTPC. Hulu is incredibly processor intensive therefore this choose. A little overkill for an HTPC nevertheless I chose this processor with the future in mind. The fan and thermal paste currently applied have been good and just snapped onto the board with no any challenge.Overall this CPU is awesome. Great bang for you buck if you get it with a combo MB. No want to mess about with rebates. I enjoy newegg. Be careful about the CPU fan wire wrapping about the fan housing. Do not let it touch the fan as that can lead to the fan to stop and the processor to go puff. My build is BioStar MB, E6700 DualCore, two GB ram, HD4350 GPU, 500GB WD HDD, DVD Burner, Corsair 450W PSU, LIAN LI HTPC CASE.

Uncomplicated set up with decent cooling. Operating at three.9GHz with no temperature or stability troubles!Popped into my Asus P5N-D that I use to check processor more than-clocking stability.Dual Core is really all the energy necessary for any property use, even us gamers. Intel still charges a bit much more than AMD but, hey, Its "Genuine" If you are arranging to overclock this processor beyond three.9GHz devote ุ-50 on a beefed up cpu cooler. You will be amazed!

This is a good CPU that is incredibly superior value for dollars. Overall performance-smart there is a noticable improve from the 2.1GHz 2MB C2D it replaced. This Pentium is like a C2D without having the bigger cache. - Make positive your mobo supports the newer WOLFDALE CPU manufacturing course of action.

I wanted to upgrade an older AMD 4800 on the low cost so I targeted this CPU with a DDR2 motherboard (Gigabyte EP43-UD3L). The upgrade was less than 赨. The new CPU gets a 6.6 score under Windows 7 and is about twice as quick as its replacement. Truly, that's the exact same score as my E8500 which is a a lot a lot more high priced CPU. I guess you'd call this a "best bang for the buck" CPU.There were no complications whatsoever during the construct. Plugged the CPU into the motherboard, swapped the memory and soon after creating all the other connections, it came up 1st time. A single of the main benefits of staying a generation behind is that all the hardware is extremely stable and completely evolved. I weighed upgrading to an i5/i7 CPU at about 2 to 3 instances the price but lastly decided against that temptation. It's great to have bragging rights for the most current and greatest but the E6700 is a very capable CPU. It's just so low-cost and sensible, it lastly won me over. But you have to determine that's what you want. Not as significantly fun as something smoking.
