Cons: If you are overclocking, temps get kinda igh. i would sugest a better cpu fan if you plan to overclock this guy

Pros: A great CPU for the price. i cant complain. it overclocks suprisingly well.
Comment:
overall, a good unit. for the budget i was on, i cant complain one bit. with a zalman cooler i was set. but the stock fan was fine before overclocking.

Cons: no

Pros: Good for the money, good for more than what it cost also. Ran everything i wanted it to and still kept decent comp speed overall
Comment:
stock fan is not enough to keep this beast cool. you will need to get a better fan if you plan to use this processor to it's fullest potential

Cons: None so far.

Pros: Low power, fast, overclocks well
Comment:
Got this for a budget build for my parents. Great little cpu, doesn't require much power and overclocks like a great. Running at 3.6mhz on stock cooling with less than 50C under load. Should last my parents 2-3years easily! Definitely a budget CPU though, since Core i7 are now out and higher end E8500+ are obviously better choice for gaming rigs.

Cons: -Stock hsf kinda sucks...but that typical

Pros: -Runs cool-Low price-Pretty fast
Comment:
Bought this for a budget build. Runs great, no problems at all. Nice upgrade from a Pentium 4. I recommend not using the stock hsf tho, they'll always be terrible in general. But this is a great cpu.

Cons: only 3M L3 cache, OC and performance not as good as E8000, especially in 3D, multimedia, and game. but for daily general use, you'll definitely happy with this new gen 3.2GHz C2D CPU. it's actually a half of the Q9000 CPU, if you can cut it~~

Pros: for the price under $150, and OC ability to 3.2Ghz, best budget invest.
Comment:
Working with ASUS P5Q Pro MB, with so many times try and fails, finally come to a running stable status at 3.2GHz, Vcc 1.22, with stock cooling 18C idle 45C under full load. it's a 20% increase over stock speed. very happy with it, consider the price under $150. if got extra money, go for E8000, at least 10%~20% performance increase than E7000, especially in 3D, multimedia, and game. Cons: Weak...

Pros: Low cost, easy overclocking
Comment:
Well I build a budget build system with this cpu highly overclocked... At first the customer say it's lighting fast but latter on complain it isn't fast enough. What a joke.. I would say a real budget builder should got for AMD. Anyway it's a great cpu none the less..

Cons: None that I can think of.

Pros: Best bang for the buck, Core 2 Duo CPU.
Comment:
Well, I found this CPU having a very good price for what it offers. With a good HSF, it runs at very low temperatures. Can be easily OCed to a 3.6 Ghz without ANY problems, so I would not personally spend another $40 to for the E8400. 1066FSB is plenty enough for 99% of people.
