Cons: -none

Pros: +very inexpensive+can take high over clocking
Comment:
This card is for some who likes to over clock since this thing is a beast, it can take it. Although the LGA775 socket CPUs are almost dead, I'd recommend getting the 1156 i3 or i5 instead of this to go with a 1156 board, since you'll get more use out of it.

Pros: - Great OC- Well priced- Very cool
Comment:
This chip with my GA-EP45-UD3P and my Zalman CNPS8700NT I can get it to 4.0 Ghz without pushing the vCore and going over 62 degrees Celsius on load. Use it mainly for gaming and just about anything else as well.

I bought this as part of an conversion of a dated P4 2.6 GHz, Socket 473 system. No complaints from me so far as the install was extremely easy. This review was modfied by poster @ 10-19-09 07:38 PM

Pros: Solid performance, stable chip, well priced.

I'm currently using this chip in an HTPC, and it just works. I have no intention of overclocking it, but I hear it is a good clocker! Would definitely buy again at sale price.

Pros: Easy to install

Togeher with a gigabyte EP45-UD3R board, this system is lightening fast compared with my older gigabyte k8ns ultra 939/AMD 3000+ system. Well worth the upgrade!

Cons: Flimsy mount for stock heatsink

Pros: Awesome speed to price ratio
Comment:
This is a great CPU for the price!! Bought it for my son's new comp. This has plenty of speed for a mainly gaming comp and still peppy enough for apps.I was dissapointed with the mount for the stock heatsink. 2 os the pins didn't seem to want to stay locked onto the mobo. Didn't feel that I could trust it too stay on so I put on an aftermarket one.

Pros: Quick delivery, easy installation, no issues with performance
Comment:
Stock cooler has those funny feet things, attaching a cooler from both sides of the mobo is much better in my opinion.

Cons: Heatsink Included

Pros: Great CPU. Awesome upgrade from my e2160 that came stock in my compaq system that I won.
Comment:
After changing my bios to allow me to overclock my processor this was a great chip to oc to 3ghz (I couldnt do much more with the mobo that came with my unit but hey I couldnt argue with a free computer) I built up the system with a few other spare parts I had from previous builds and I definitely have found that this was an awesome cpu. Runs Crysis along with my 9600gt on the highest level of graphics with no lag whatsoever.

Cons: - 3MB Cache but barrely have any effect vs 6MB.

Pros: - Price vs E8400 which is usualy 200$ instead of 150$.- 10.5x Multiplier instead of 9x as E8400.- 45nm- Very overclocking friendly. On a cheap (Asus P5N73-AM) I've done 3.62Ghz from 2.80Ghz at 1.35v before Vdroop.
Comment:
Very nice overclocking processor for those who don't want to spend an extra 50$ for the E8400 which doesn't offer that much more. So on a cheap board I gained 820Mhz, and that was with the (Arctic Cooling Pro) heatsink which isn't the biggest heatsink. But it for sure doesn't compare to my (DFI DK P35-T2RS + Sunbeam Core Contact + E8400 "E0") that can go up to 4.32Ghz from 3.0, so a gain of 1320Mhz :D

Cons: Intel HSF can be noisy.I have bought a few of these, and some make more noise then others.

Pros: High standard clock rate for the priceStays cool with the small intel HSFInexpensive
Comment:
Nice inexpensive intel chip which provides more then enough power for the average user. This chip also stays quite cool and thus works fine with the included intel heatsink and fan. Unfortunately the included intel heatsinks and fans are not that great noise wise. I have purchased a few of these processors, and sometimes you get lucky and get a quiet running fan, but most of the time they come with a noisy one. Overall this is a great price point for an intel chip and is the main reason i continue to buy them.

Cons: heatsink and fan

Pros: affordability, overclocks great and the temps are excellent
Comment:
This is a great little prosesor with enough poop to acheive what you want. I purchased this for a client for home use in a mini cube case, so I matched it up with the Asus P5N7A-VM, 4 gigs of pc26400 ram and coolmaster vortex 55 92mm cpu cooler as well as an ocz 400wt psu in a blue gears case and my client is like a new dad with this rig. My only complaint about this processor is the heatsink and fan. I find it amazing that Intel does so well with there cpu's and match them up with crap heatsinks. overal great little cpu and the shipping and packacking was excellent Thanks Ncix

Cons: isn't free, doesn't come with an aftermarket cooler, bill gates doesn't come in the box

Pros: 45nm, low voltage, cool chip, 10.5x, overclocks fantastic
Comment:
Bought this proc to replace my dated socket939 3700+ and this cheap is a monster for its price. I bought it for $139 which was $60-80 less than an e8400, half the cache but overclocks like a champ. Currently running a mild oc of 3.5ghz(333x10.5 stock voltage i45C load) from 2.8ghz (266x10.5). Will try for 4ghz, but not until i get an aftermarket cooler, the stock one provided does a fine job but i wouldn't push to much because of the increase voltage required and thus added heat.I highly recommend this cheap to anyone who doesn't want to fork out $200+ for an e8400, this cheap has stunning preformance and potential for its price. Cons: - price

Pros: + fast+ 2 cores
Comment:
I bought this for my friend's budget build. It's fast since it's a Core 2 Duo and, well, it's pretty much one of the best value processors right now. It's a bit pricey right now but that's due to the economy but nonetheless, compared to the others, it's a good value.

Cons: The stock cooler is quite physically large, and has clip posts that I don't trust.

Pros: Inexpensive - got it on sale. Runs pretty cool, although I have not overclocked it.Check out the specs, the price to performance ratio is pretty high for this little baby.
Comment:
So far I am happy with it. I actually bought it for a client/friend who will use it in a system almost exclusively for officy type stuff. For the price (got it on sale), it's simply great value. I stuffed it in an Antec nine-hundred case (large with nice quiet fans), on a gigabyte board. She runs decently cool (under 70C) under moderate usage conditions.

Comment:
i bought this for my dad's budget build but he said he wanted power so i gave it to him. 2.8ghz dual is the fastest he's ever seen. i could have gone with something less powerfull and then overclocked, but i wanted him to be able of his mobo's epu-4 power saving engine, which doesn't work in overclocking mode. very good, would buy again if the need arose.
