Cons: expensive

Pros: Fast, easy to overclock, i7 extreme to show off
Comment:
this cpu is fast, easy to overclock, and you can show to your friend how fast your computer is. The price is a little bit sharp though.

Cons: none

Pros: this chip rocks...if you can afford it. but first let me speak to those overclocking individuals that like to void they're warranties by overclocking...why not buy the best and underclock ya stooges...can never figure out what is the matter with people.lol.overclock hahahahah..a poor mans way of trying to get as fast as the rich mans chip.hahahaha
Comment:
buy it..try to snub it. open anything you want .burn a c.d..this thing can handle it all at once...overclock,hahahahah/that word still kills me

Cons: Very Hot, is costly and requires close-attention to keep running at safe temperature.

Pros: Overclocking, As is with Any Quad Core processor.Realiable, Fast.
Comment:
I speak for a friend of mine. This direct processor you see here is great, it is a beast, it is fast, however it's still a quad-core processor, and little difference is seen when comparing a overclocked cor 2 Quad and core i7. This processor, however does get very hot, way to hot, water pumping and expensive CPU Cooling is required when over clocking. However a serious gamer will love this processor can guarantee that much. However 1200$? for this? are you kidding me? what's the point in buying the extreme at such a stupid and very selfishly priced processor, when for like 800$ or w/e cheaper u can get a 2.66Ghz Intel Core i7, Witch believe me you can overclock this thing just as much as u can with the extreme, and believe me you save a load of cash.As mentioned in the strenghts it is a powerful processor and fast, I however believe it is to expensive and the Extreme version shouldnt not be bothered with as an Intel core i7 Regular alone is Incredible, as is a AMD Phenom II Black edition 3.2ghz Quad. Make the decision gamers, are you willing to spend 1300$ on a processor, or do you have the overclocking power else where. This is intel's way of fueling it's recession loss's, make the right decision don't buy this!

Cons: None so far for the time beign.

Pros: Extremely fast.Intelligent instructions.Easy to overclock.Multi-threading enabled ~ 4 cores, 8 threads ~ Octal core setting.Future-proof.
Comment:
This is Flash. He scans/writes/reads/accumulates extremely fast. This must be the fastest consumer chip in the world at the moment, hands down. New instructions have been taking care of and it's showing mainly in x64 systems. For the longest time what it seemed that Vista had IE issues now seems that it was my last processors missings prologic instructions. Vista after a while was hanging up due to unknown reasons. 965 acknowledged that and never happened since.Awesome processor. I overclocked this thing to 4GHZ. It flies through most things easily. A lot faster than my QX6850 I had.
