Like the reality that I don't will need a separate Graphics Card, graphics run fine even for the few games we play on this custom produced Pc I created for my wife. They might get discontinued sometime quickly! Grab em whilst you can.

It's fast, and handles loads well. Does not run also hot. None so far! Just about every time I have constructed a laptop, it has been restricted by the processor speed. This a single was a good price, and I am now rocking Globe of Warcraft at 50fps in even the busiest of cities.

Excellent performance for the price tag.Runs cool, even with stock heatsink.Straightforward to overclock for further speed. Will probably come down in value a week after you purchase it. This line of CPUs brought me back to Intel from more than a decade of AMD. They look to give the most bang-for-the-buck, in particular given how uncomplicated it is to OC. I settled on the 550 for the base three.two ghz and it can be effortlessly dialed up close to four ghz with the stock heatsink.

Great baseline chip for low-cost technique construct. Constructed in graphics runs anything you can give it as extended as you dont max out the settings. For the cost you can't go incorrect. NONE I would propose this chip to anybody that requirements great speed and not wanting to invest a lot on a program. Ideal for Office program.

Good cost (bought on sale) and fantastic performance. Processes data like a Bush-Hog in high grass. Went collectively straightforward and is quiet with stock fan. The graphics do not disappoint. NONE I was in a position to O.C. to 3.36GHz with the Motherboard's straightforward 1 click utility app - but was not in a position to OC to the next level of three.6GHz.

cheap. effortless overclock. Has to be greater than its i5 counterpart. None. Place an aftermarket low profile cooler on this proc. Paired it with the MSI H55M-E33. 1 transform in the BIOS to "fastest FSB" set the proc to 4.3Ghz. Only raised temps a degree or two when performing general stuff. Loaded up FFXIV on the HIGHEST settings & the factor just ran (not employing onboard video). Temps raised to 50 degrees but this factor just performs. Was thinking about an i5 dual core but glad I didn't now. Next step up from this puppy would be a quad-core only.

This is a rapidly processor with integrated graphics at a low cost. As a processor alone this package is a good value but the reality that you don't will need a separate video card makes it even greater. None I'm making use of this Pc for multimedia only which includes blu-ray playback but I haven't performed any gaming right here.

Inexpensive cost heatsink socket was challenging to get connected. This was my first Socket 1156 processor that I've installed. The installation key could be a tiny clearer. Stared at the issue for 5 minutes just before I saw the notches. I miss the notched corner of yester-year.

So so a lot quicker than my old Socket A. Wow. The onboard graphics is completely adequate running Windows 7 and AutoCAD/Photoshop. I haven't attempted gaming however but it's excellent to have the solution to upgrade to a PCIExpress video card down the road and have a strong system for an great cost right now. None for me. I've read the i3 is hard to overclock but not an challenge as I'm not intending to OC. Operating on an MSI H55 board and 4Gb of Gskill DDR3. So quiet and strong overall performance.

This is a good pc processor. I have bought this processor for the brand new desktop pc that I was creating, and it turned out to be the very best processor obtain I have ever created. I ultimately decided to upgrade from my laptop laptop, because it was quite slow a lot of occasions, and would not function the way I wanted it to.This processor changed all that. Along with the motherboard and 8GB ram, my new personal computer runs so quick, that I really feel like my personal computer is in fact a server. My computer system by no means froze with this processor so far, and this processor is excellent for gaming also. Also, my games run incredibly nicely with my 512mb video card (I could run much better if I had a 1GB video card though). This processor is not only quick, but reasonably priced. None identified.

Fantastic centerpiece for a worth develop. None. If you game or encode lots of video, pay for a greater finish processor. You could overclock this, but why? (better chips out there to develop a monster rig around) Combo'd with a cheap BIOSTAR TH55 HD LGA 1156 Intel H55 board (no hiccups with the onboard video: smoothly plays HD videos and surfs the web -- there are greater possibilities out there for gaming). Plugged in 4 gigs of A-Data DDR3 (AX3U1600GB2G9-2G). Win 7 Property Prem x64.

Awesome cpu, fairly rapidly. Quickest cpu I've owned. Good for ripping my blurays and encoding them. Had some issues finding the onboard graphics to perform regularly with HDMI.At times it would show other times it wouldn't. Bought an ATI 5450 and now my HTPC runs excellent. Other than the larger cost and the HDMI difficulties I had, this thing is great for my requirements as an HTPC.rest of my elements.Gigabte h55-s2h motherboardIntel Core i3 - three.2ghzG.Ability 4GB ƒ x 2GB)ASUS EAH5450 Radeon HD5450 1GB DDR3ASUS Blu-ray DriveSEAGATE 320gb hdRocketfish 500watt psu

Amazing Overclocker! This is my 1st upgrade given that the LGA775 days. Paired with a T5 XE P55 Mobo, and topped with a 30$ variety aftermarket cooler. I restricted myself to the 1.4v Max provided the offered specs from Intel, I was able to hit four.3GHz Rock Solid Stable! No cons what so ever! Although I wish they made chips without having the built in GPU. I was fairly shocked by how COOL this chip runs! even with the aftermarket cooler, its extremely tempting to go more than safe voltage zone, as it runs extremely cool at high clock speeds. 4.0GHz is no longer anything impossible to approach for the novice overclocker. Properly performed intel!

Fantastic Chip, Lots of Power, Running on Ubuntu 10.10 I have in no way observed the processor over 60% typical of dual cores (this was when I was trying to anxiety test it running six situations of youtube 1080p video)...I cannot comment on how Microsoft bloatware will bog down this cpu. I do not use this chip for gaming, nor will I attempt. A tiny pricier than AMD couterparts but I like the overall performance of intel chips. I primarily do productivity work so if you are a gamer you could want to go with core i7 (i was not impressed with the overall performance/price increase of core i5). This chip with an SSD will develop you a incredibly good office computer. Chip is mated to the asus with H55 chipset and will grow to be my theatre pc later in life and I don't count on to have ANY difficulties running hi def content material, the performance i have seen indicates I may be able to get dual hi def output from this chip/h55.

Straightforward to set up, incorporated OEM fan isn't to tricky to set up. Substantially faster than my old P4. None at this time. For some explanation it show up as having four cores in Ubuntu. I am employing an Nvidia video card as an alternative of the on-chip graphics. Probably when making use of a discrete graphics card the chip frees up the GPU core? I'm not positive about all of that at this time.Much faster than my old 2.8Ghz P4. Finally catching up on the tech curve.

Finest I3 there is, has a nice high multiplier of 24.I was able to get 4.8ghz out of it on air cooling (zerotherm Zen) devoid of hyper threading on. I had a 540 that clocked slightly better (got four.9ghz on air, five.1ghz on water cooling), but thats just luck of the draw on the batch. I took an egg off due to the fact this CPU is priced as well high for what it is. An I5 650 is only a tiny bit additional and you have Turbo then. If you are an overlcocker, obtaining the highest multiplier achievable is always nice and turbo provides you that further bump. This CPU shouldn't be additional than 贬 (currently 贶), but this is just an introductory cost so it should come down rapid.

Just study the item description, and then apply that to your system. Really small to complain about right here. Heatsink is a bit light, but honestly it keeps it cool devoid of any troubles. This is the 1st Intel proc that I have bought (for my systems) in 9 years. I do not regret purchasing this proc at all.

I have no intrest in games whatsoever so i can't comment in that region.I utilized a gigabyte board and only two gigs of Gskill ram. as for these complaining about the price, if you assume its to exspensive then don't get it nun of this excites my wife :)
