Solid CPU nothing much else to say. The heatsink, as all stock heatsinks, is pretty cheap and not great.

Cost a bit expensive but very fast processor. Use it as my main workload PC. Great for use on multiple home accounts, video encoding, unzipping and general use. Would by again.

Pros: Excellent overclockable CPU for a gaming rig.
Comment:
This CPU is an excellent mid range gaming rig. If you are shooting for the mid range computer that can play everything well, go with this i5 (or the 4690K).Runs smooth. No issues yet.

Great cpu if you intend to overclock your system, if not go with the cheaper locked version.

Pros: Fast/Cool/Quiet

My step son wanted to build a gaming computer, and wanted to get the most for his $$$. This CPU, a Radeon 7950, and 8GB DDR3 1600 RAM in an Antec One case and a 2TB Seagate 7200RPM drive stretched his budget, but he's been playing every game he has (and that's a lot of them) with no issues at all. One big plus with this processor is that it runs cool, even with the stock fan. We haven't overclocked it as there is absolutely no need to. I have historically purchased AMD processors for cost/speed, but am thinking of upgrading my FX-4100, and cost to purchase + cost to run, this is the best processor I can think of.

No complaints. Very impressed with its speed. Got this for a decent price on sale at $240. I have this cooled by a Dark Rock Pro 3 and they are a happy couple.

Good CPU. Perfect if you dont need and dont whant to pay for a i7.One point : The fan in the box is not really silent. So if you whant something really silent, buy another fan. I think I gonna do that in few weeks.... :)

4.4GHz on 1.18voltsstepping up to 4.5 or 4.6 was requiring more voltage than than air cooling would allow.I may have to try water cooling it someday.

Pros: Very fast, easy to like. Has some nice BIOS tools and overclocking software. Love this BEAST.
Comment:
Have been building AMD systems forever, finally an Intel. Not disappointed, installed with Corsair H 100 I cooling and Asus Z87 Plus Motherboard, Wow is it fast. My last AMD ran same clock speed but doesn't come near the benchmarks this beast runs. I was told there is not much difference in the I7 ,other than being a $100 more, but I can't say. If you want an extremely fast machine with applications popping and not waiting for most anything, this is sweet. Will do it again for my next build.

Cons: Poor thermals, not hyperthreaded.

Pros: Powerful chip, good for gaming
Comment:
The 4670k is the most powerful i5 as of the time of writing. It is more than enough for gaming, and suitable for most other tasks also. A professional might consider the 4770k instead for its hyperthreading capabilities. The only thing is that the haswell has poor thermals. Not very good for overclocking and enthusiasts. There is very little reason, if any, to upgrade from a 3570k if you have one. Someone with an older gen Nehalem or Sandy Bridge, or older AMD CPUs might consider an upgrade to haswell.

Do yourself a favour and grab an aftermarket CPU cooler. If you don't plan on overclocking much, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO is a popular option and more than adequate.

Pros: Everything about it is great.
Comment:
What can I say the 15 is great for just about everything if you are on more of a budget. Stays cool I have a Hyper 212 EVO and I idle around 30-35°c and don't pass 70°c under load usually hover around 62-65°c. Cant comment on the stock cooler as I have not used it but I would recommend and after market cooler.

Cons: No HT

Pros: Fast, Good Price/Value, Doesn't actually run hot
Comment:
Coming from an i5-750 this processor is a breath of fresh air. This thing is a beast and it runs pretty cool with a noctua stacked on top. I get about 36C idle with 45C on load. HT is NOT necessary for gaming, watch for the benchmarks but you will see that its a waste of money.
