Cons: Has some weight to itScratches too easilyTight fit near the bottom of the ear cupsToo big for me

Pros: Mic is crystal clear, one of the best I've ownedNice design50mm driver is nice
Comment:
Purchased this headset to replace my Steelseries Siberia V2. I like the construction of it, sound is crystal clear; audio and microphone. Cons; I was wearing it with a hat and it seemed to fix perfectly but without it its very uncomfortable and the weight is more present (doesn't help that i have a small head). If your very anal about the cosmetic condition of your peripherals.. the next day of use i found scratch wear on the plastic finish so I'm assuming it damages easily.

Cons: none

Pros: Analog, Comfortable, Noise Canceling ear cups, Good mic.
Comment:
I originally purchased the Corsair HS1 whenever NCIX was selling them half off and after several months of use it became defective and I had to RMA it to corsair and they replaced it with this headset. I have been using this headset for over a year now and had no problems with it. I highly recommend this headset if you can get it on sale.

Cons: Nothing worth complaining about.

Pros: So far I'm very happy with this perches, they sound grate when listening to music, and even better in games.
Comment:
If you don't have over $100.00 to spend, I would say this is your best option. Also I recommend you get a sound card because they sound much better with one.

This is a great mic that I'd recommend to anyone. The sound quality is superb and the build quality is excellent. It is a bit on the heavy side but it's not really a big issue.

Cons: lack of low-end/bass

Pros: Nice for a big noggin
Comment:
Linus was right about comfort level for this set, I a large noggin and this were comfortable after 3-4 hrs of playing BF3. The sound quality was fairy crisp but lacked the bass end of the spectrum say for gunfire/explosions. The high/mid ends were clear in the game. At full volume, the speakers weren't as loud as say my old razor set I'm replacing, that could be a good thing to save what hearing I have left.

Cons: Horrible wiringnot as comfortable as I had expected

Pros: Decent soundGood mic
Comment:
It's not a three star. If I had a choice it'd be a one star product. Apparently I'm not allowed to give it anything below 3 stars without an Order ID that I don't haveThese headphones are almost unusable for me. After about a month of ownership the wires in them have started to decay, limiting or cancelling sound on the left headphone, meaning any noise only comes out of the right. They also don't have as much comfort along thetop headband as you may believe, all of the weight is concentrated along a thin line in the middle of the headband, and the cushining, while it's there, does nothing to aleviate this. I wouldn't recommend these, spend your money on something with a higher build quality. I'm disappointed in Corsair for their QC on this

Cons: Excessively long cord

Pros: Very large ear cupsDecently comfortable, at least a couple hours of straight use before it becomes even slightly uncomfortable. (Much more comfortable than ath-m50 headphones ($200), not nearly as the bose quiet comfort 15's though (to be fair those cost $350)The height adjustment moves in very small incriments
Comment:
Overall I like them, and am very happy with the purchase especially with the price. (Corsair always has MIR's, and in my experience has honored them every time).

Cons: Heavy!! Weighs ALOT more than expected, experienced some discomfort with it cause of the weight.

Pros: Durable constructionPleathery excellent padding and spacingExcellent audio quality - pinpoint 5.1
Comment:
Overall this is an excellent headset, I don't know why there are bad reviews on it, the pleather is very comfy and can fit my huge ears. Although strapping on 2 3/4 pounds on your head isn't the best feeling it's not the deal breaker.

Cons: Terrible cord connections -- a recurring problem in Corsair headsets

Pros: Comfy, clear sound, good mic
Comment:
I want to give this a 2 star review, but I can't without an order number, which I don't have because I received this as a replacement for an HS1A headset I had to return due to bad cord connections. I was super excited to have a really comfy headset with good sound! The ear cups were huge and I could wear it all day without trouble. However, after only nine months of use, the same problem has arisen. I never threw it or damaged it -- I take care of my things! Now I have to duct tape my cord at an extreme angle to the ear cup just to have sound. I would send them back, again, but I'd rather not get another headset that will fail after a few months.I like Corsair products, and their customer service is top notch, but save yourself the trouble and avoid their headsets unless you want to really get to know someone on their RMA team.

Cons: -Hurts your ears if left on too long-Receiving audio quality not the greatest, not "audiophile"

Pros: -Soft faux-leather pads-Adjustable-Not very heavy-Adjustable speaker-Good Mic Quality
Comment:
Would like to start off by saying this gaming headset is definitely not "audiophile" quality! It is just okay. Turn back if you're looking for a headset to use for listening to music as this is a strictly gaming headset type of peripheral.Good output qualities on the mic, not too heavy and highly adjustable. For the price, you can't really go wrong as it is a versatile and highly cost efficient headset. The padding on the top makes wearing it very comfortable, but it's not something you'd wear for long durations, say 3+ hours. If you want to take a look at how it actually looks rather than the small picture on the NCIX site, there's an unboxing video by Linus on youtube where he goes over most aspects. Would definitely suggest potential buyers to watch prior to purchasing this product.Overall though, I'd rate this product at 8/10 - a very solid product for a very solid price.

Cons: - A little tight on the head- Closed cup design + leather earpieces = Hot/sweaty ears- The headband is further back than the ear cups

Pros: - Large Earcups- Very good sound quality- Built like a tank- Mic is very good- High quality cable
Comment:
This is a very good headset in many aspects (see pros), however it's simple things that make it kind of hard it live with. The head band is at an angle when you put on the headphones. This is supposed to keep it from falling off, however what i've found is that it does the opposite. When the band is put on properly (with the head band tilted forward) it will stay on, however after a little while it will tilt back, causing it to slide completely off. This is also due to the rotatable ear cups. While this is a very good product for the money, I think a headset from Steelseries might work better.

Cons: Heats up my head quickly, earcups do not fold inward, tinny sound pre-EQ, weak bass, inflexible earcups, inline remote/NC module is bulky, connection between earcups and headband appears fragile, hard-to-distinguish plugs

Pros: Long, braided cable, comfy earpads and cushioned headband, flexible and good mic with noise-canceling, earcups are slightly angled towards the jaw, nice, undistorted sound, fairly light weight, great warranty service
Comment:
I received this headset as replacement when I RMA'd my 9-month-old Corsair HS1A, and I have used them as a reference to compare with the Vengeance 1300.The headset is very comfortable and light but its performance is only just satisfactory, considering the price. The sound is good but requires tweaking, the mic is good but unexceptional, and the design feels fragile. The earcups connect to a flat swiveling piece that then connects to the flat headband. Because the two points attached at the joint are both thin and flat, I feel like I'm going to snap one every time I stretch the headband or turn the earcups. They are probably much stronger than that, but the design does not convey sturdiness. The 3.5mm plugs have colour-coding on the metal tip, but not the plastic sleeve; in dim light it makes the two plugs hard to tell apart (I do not leave my headset plugged in at all times).I still like the Vengenace 1300, but if this one breaks after my warranty ends I will probably look at a different headset.

Cons: none

Pros: Nice sound, comfortable, long cord, reasonable price
Comment:
Nice headset overall. The sound is very crisp and clear, nice bit of rumble. The 50mm driver is comfortable and easy to wear for long periods of time. I find the quality of the headset seems nice, especially compared to other headsets I have had.. The people who say they break easy must not be caring for their devices, because these would be tough to break through normal use. I would definitely recommend these.

Cons: -Lacking in Bass-Non color coded connectors

Pros: -Comfort-Durability-Price
Comment:
I purchased these when they were on sale and I was quite Impressed with them. These are great quality headphones for the price. I have a rather large head and I don't experience any discomfort with these whatsoever. The Earcups are large enough to cover my entire ears and are very comfy to wear.My only real complaints about this headset is that it doesn't have the greatest bass. This alright for most gaming but my old Sennheiser pair had much better sound for listening to music. Also the 3.5mm connectors aren't color coded except for a tine color strip around the metal jack itself which can be kind of annoying when you are trying to plug them into your PC in a low light environment. If you are looking for a great bang for your buck gaming headset without breaking the bank, This is definitely a product to consider.

Cons: Makes me sweat after an hour or so. Not great sound for music.

Pros: Good sound in games. Well built.
Comment:
I really say I'm overwhelmed by this headset. They make me sweat to the point where I can't wear them but that is more my personal problem rather than the headset I think. The sound in games is great but I really need to play with the EQ setiings to get music sounding even decent.

Cons: everything else.

Pros: the cord is quite nice, and fairly long.
Comment:
Please understand firstly that I was quite keen on owning a Corsair headset. I've used corsair products for years, and they've always been excellent products. However DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS HEADSET. The Issues I've had with it are numerous, first and foremost however, is volume is disappointingly low, and the mic is sketchy at best. The mute toggle produces a jarring static sound when toggled off, and the microphone playback volume, that is when the mic is supposed to bleed into the headset speakers, so you can hear it is almost non existent, also, that same feature produces a constant fuzz in the headset. This has been the worst investment in a PC headset I have ever made. Now I have no idea what to do with these useless things.

Cons: If your head is too small it may cause discomfort around jawscan't really hear bass unless you turn the volume way up

Pros: blocks out most external soundslong braided cableflexible head bandflexible micpadded topadjustable headphone size
Comment:
The sound quality is better than the Corsair 1100 head set but lacks the bass at low-medium volume. the over design is comfortable and cancels out most of the external sounds around you and prevents people from hearing your in game audio. The headset may slip off of your head, but it doesn't happen often unless your shaking your head. If your head is not at least a specific size you will feel some discomfort around your jaws just below your ears from the pressure of the head set. Overall a great buy if your looking for a mid priced headset.
