Idea is great, cost is okay, everything came in the box as promised. Plug and play.... Doesn't work on my LG HDTV. Tv kept showing invalid format so I know the unit was attempting to "talk" to my tv. I tried almost everything I could believe of and even contacted the maker for support. All to no avail. Manufacturer Response:Immediately after the unit connected, please do appropriate click mouse on your notebook or desktop technique. Pick screen resolution. This product worked out of the box. I guess all the whiners out there dont know which way to hook up the VGA cable. Of course you got to hook up the USB and audio cable to the source. And the end where all merges to the adaptor/bridge itself. If you get that wrong, i doubt it will work. The adaptor/bridge has to be powered... haller..I think the display looks better and 'softer' than when hooked up via the dvi cable from my desktop to the monitor.. but perhaps thats just me.With all things considered, this product works so a lot greater than I have ever expected. Certainly worth the 59usd i paid for. Absolutely nothing! NONE AT ALL. Cheers to Newegg, item came on time. |
