Great price tag on the casePlenty of space for Hard drives and DVD drivesBuilt in fans maintain airflow steady If you have a 4870, or a card of that length the difficult drive mounting region makes it a quite tight squeeze. It fits after functioning with the cords a bit, so it just takes a bit of pre-organizing. Excellent value, worth every penny.

Worked well for two years. Soon after two years, 120mm failed causing my program to crash (GPU over-heat). Wonderful case if the 120mm fan had not failed. I'm replacing both fans in this case. Incredibly sturdy design and style, usbx2/firewire/audio-in/microphone-in front panel, substantial back fan and front challenging-drive fan, a lot of area Plastic clips for expansion slots are handy but prone to crack with massive cards: greatest to get screws for those, drive locks don't hold the drives in incredibly firmly Owned this case as my principal desktop pc since October 2006 and I've been extremely satisfied, it's observed 2 motherboards and about to upgrade again. It has some minor scratches but it's nevertheless a excellent searching case, designed for the extended haul. A excellent all-around case.

Sleek design and style, fit almost all parts in a neat and organized manner. Did not seat motherboard appropriately, causing it to not seat graphics cards effectively. I bought an ASUS motherboard to use inside the case and it wouldnt sit the USB ports effectively with the cutout in the rear (which is not really that massive of a deal to me) . But the deal breaker was simply because it didnt seat suitable, the video cards didnt seat all the way, so I had to obtain a new case. There was no way around the difficulty, short of grinding my video cards down, or cutting the case. I would not recommend purchasing this case. Also, if you do end up acquiring this case, and not upgrading your video card, theres no way its going to fit. Theres about 6 strong inches from the rear punch outs to the drive docks. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Customer,We apologize for any inconvenience. If the motherboard standoffs are not installed correctly or are not screwed in all the way, it can result in the problems you are mentioning. In common this case is uncomplicated to operate with and sturdy. The screw-much less PCI clips really feel flimsy and breakable. Following two years and a handful of graphics card swaps, the clip for the express x16 slot is hanging by a thread. This doesn't influence operation (yet) but feels type of shoddy.

Good, sturdy case! Lots of room inside for any and every single component I threw in my program, came with all the screws and every thing needed. Toolless mounting for HDD and optical is fantastic! Didn't perform so properly for the graphics card, but that's what I get for get a massive graphics card. Power button feels kinda flimsy. LED lights are really bright, so if you program on leaving this on in your bedroom or Tv area, unhook the LED energy or get some electric tape. Good starter case, initial computer system build and it looks fantastic.

This Cooler Master Case has a incredibly quiet sound, and the space inside has a very good amount of space for expansion. It comes with numerous adjustment screws and points of the sort for distinct size motherboards. Easy to install, and the USB and headphone/mic ports on the front operate extremely properly. The energy and reset buttons are quite good as nicely. There is a number of air ducts about the case: The whole front of the case has room for air to flow, because of the many small holes. Also, there is a tiny fan near the bottom of the front side. On the side, there is a a duct with a hose kind issue top straight to the processor on the motherboard, for additional cooling. Just under that is an additional vent. On the back it has a quite good, quiet fan maintaining almost everything cool. Incredibly great case. The wires/cords on the inside are not labeled incredibly properly, and it often hard to location them in the appropriate spot on the motherboard. It took a couple of hours to get it to work right. The only other difficulty with it is the tiny fan at the bottom of the front is correct where the difficult drive goes. That is a very good factor, but not when it likes to rub and push against the really hard drive, maintaining away from snapping into spot on the braces. Nothing else genuinely.

This is such a fantastic case. I'm ultimately retiring it soon after buying mine in 2006. It's been a fantastic 5 years in this case, but following adding my 8TB Raid5, I was forced to upgrade to anything bigger. But only just barely. This case is light, with no becoming flimsy. The screw-much less adapters work nicely, with satisfying clicks and a tight grip on your 3.five" and five.25" drives so you know nothing at all's moving about on you.The air flow is wonderful. The mesh front affords excellent cool air intake and keeps the dust out.I was able to match 3x challenging drives, a card reader, 3x DVD±RWs, and 2x hot-swap three.five" drive bays in this sucker, with a 2x Nvidia GTX-260 SLI setup. Considering all the hardware I was cramming inside a mid-ATX case, I was putting demand on space, and I was able to discover it with no a ton of wiggling. Right after about three years, a single plastic piece got brittle and broke on me. This was the tiny plastic tab that aids hold the mesh in location behind the front cover. I've usually been paranoid about pushing as well tough on plastic Computer pieces (thanks, side-facing SATA connectors on motherboards) so I was bring careful, and it nonetheless snapped. It was just brittle. Now, it produced no distinction, due to the fact the mesh stayed in spot devoid of that piece -anyway- but I truly was sad for about 30 seconds ahead of I realized how superfluous that piece really was. It didn't show, the functionality was questionable, and so I just chucked it. That was two years ago. The mesh has stayed in place over the 80mm intake without any hitches. This review is my salute to a amazing case that went the added mile to LAN parties and several upgrades from AMD AM2 to Q6600 to Core i7, through numerous SLI and Crossfire configurations, and still looks wonderful.I seldom say I'm particularly attached a piece of hardware, but I'm actually hoping a buddy of mine requirements a case. I've had situations from a selection of suppliers ahead of, and generally when I swap away from these other situations, I'm pleased to have been rid of my complaints. But this case, I had no genuine gripe with. I was sad to see it go, and had to spend more than twice the dollar worth to get some thing equivalent.

Fantastic strong case, fans preserve it cool, uncomplicated access The tool-less latches for the expansion cards didn't wrap about my grapics card, and i had to screw in the card with an extra mount from the motherboard. I also wish the mobo mount holes were far better labeled, but it's straightforward enough to ascertain which ones are required for your motherboard. The location for the motherboard was a bit bigger than it necessary to be, also.

"Toolless" case. Comes with two thumbscrews for the major side pannel. (regular screws on the other). There ARE screw holes to bolt drives into spot if you don't trust the slide-lock mechanisms. (In the case's bag-o-screws there are slightly longer fine threaded screws that will attain through the slide and into a drive.)Case appears sturdy.Big fan in the rear is quieter than I expected. I'm kinda iffy on the add on card locking clips, but you can nonetheless screw them down if wanted. The locking mechanism for the drives holds remarkably well. I was incredibly surprised. In my previous experiences, issues would nonetheless slide and wiggle, making noise when factors spun up... not right here. It appears like theres small metal bits that lock into the typical screw holes in the drive. I had no difficulties lining them up, but I wouldn't guidance just ramming it house with out looking. Yes they're in the appropriate positions for CD-ROMs to be flush, and challenging drives to be all the way back. Also, the bay covers are not strong, they're metal mesh. All empty bays turn into additional vents.

Top quality when manufacturing as generally with Cooler Master, a few minor cons I will go over shortly. The case I received had a handful of minor permanent scratches into the aluminum siding/Centurion logo, not impressed with that at all.The power button is slightly off centered, also not impressed with that. Not sure what happened here, normally my Cooler Master items arrive in best condition.

Cooling isn't poor, stuff fits well, and it was largely intact when I got it. Stuff breaks easily, like the small plastic points to hold the expansion cards in and the tough drive bay sliders, the energy button was not fully set into it's hole, it only comes with two fans, and it's fairly ugly. Going to replace this case with an Antec 3 Hundred Illusion quickly.

I purchased this case in April of 2006. That makes it just over four years old as I write this. Confident sufficient, the same case is nonetheless obtainable here at new egg. That ought to say some thing. With a clean cloth and a little 409 or, and perhaps a soft brush for the screen, I could probably make it look as new. It's had 2 motherboards and two energy supplies. One particular of the plastic tool absolutely free card-lock factors that lock your add-on cards into place along the back side of the case broke, so I can't seriously lock that card into position. It occurs to be more than my 1st PCI two. x 16 slot, so I have to be cautious when plugging in displays. The front-panel wiring for audio on mine incorporates a couple of connector blocks for audio connections my boards don't assistance. Possibly it comes with diverse ones now, as that's some thing thats likely to transform more than time. The model I got 4 years ago had a plastic cylinder/tube that attaches to the side of the case to direct air right to the top rated of the cpu. If you have a substantial CPU cooler, you'll have to get rid of that. It's no large deal, you'll never know it was there.

Solid building, well vented and quiet fans incorporated. Clips for PCI card suck but just use screws. Manual sucks so you much better have built a case just before. Screwless mounting for 3.5" HDDs could have been ligned up much better. Front cover wwas a bigger hassle than was necessary hassle to get back on soon after installing my 2 DVD drives and it just pulls off?

- sturdy case, practically tool-less, looks excellent if you don't want flashy docked two eggs for the following motives:manual/website/customer help have been poor-I looked at all the testimonials here and noone, nor the manual, talked about the the front panel wires.... all of them have been labled correctly except for the green and white (one said ground +, and the other stated ground - ). It took me 3 days to figure out on my personal that (wasn't in the manual or on the webpage) that those wires led to the HDD LED light. They're not the HDD energy wires, just the LED light to show that the comp is reading/writing.Lastly, like a different consumer talked about the front power switch is flimsey. Now that I've figured out this case I would use it again if I were to make for household member. (for me though, I'll stick to my Antec 900).

This case was was simply excellent. I had no problems with cable routing or mounting of components (except for a modest burr from removing the face blank on a 2.five bay but it was effortless to remediate) the Fans in the case are quite and airflow was good. I utilized this to build a workstation for a client and it has the proper appear to fit in to a company office. For the Cost it was great! None. I'll be working with this for future custom builds when I will need a case that performs effectively but can't appear like a "gamer" box.
