Necessary to have additional area for motion pictures and music, so got this cable for my simple Dell desktop which had brief IDE cable devoid of 2nd port. Performs fantastic, and bought a WD3200AAJB 320GB 7200 RPM IDE ATA100 Really hard Drive all for seventy nine. BestB had a 160 GB for a single ten, no cable. Lightning quick shipping as usual. Newegg great, other egg terrible None |

It's an IDE cable, it has 3 connectors, it is colour coded, and it works. The image shows a cable connector w/o pin 20 being blocked off. While some IDE cables do come like that, this certain cable comes with it blocked. Must not be a big deal, though. |

for the cheap price i have to make confident to obtain more of thease soon as you can never ever have also several cables lying around when you do what i do you will never know when you might will need more cables i usually seem to have a need for them none its a cable and does what its supposed to do :) |

Extended enough (just barely) for some moderate cablegami in my Antec SLK3000B to reach my optical drive(s) with a MSI P35 Neo2-FR. An additional colour would have been good. This was just barely capable to do the bends that I necessary underneath the mobo. An 1ǘ" shorter would have been a no-go. |

I don't know what the previous reviewer is talking about or possibly he got a defective product, mine worked perfectly. Flawless, larger than I anticipated (although the specs are listed), no concerns. None You still have to know which finish goes exactly where and, in 2 hard drive setups like I did, which connector goes to which tricky drive initial. Still, inspect the previous setup ahead of you install this and you ought to be fine.I'll consider obtaining much more of these for other computers/connections in the future |

Well-created The extra cable length is used to increase separation of two of the connectors. It would have been more valuable if the slave connector was at the mid-point of the cable. If you want a DVD drive at the top of your situation and a challenging drive close to the bottom and the motherboard somewhere in-in between, this cable is unlikely to do the job. A longer cable may have equivalent troubles - connector positions are not specified. |

Did not operate... Bought two, each did not work, when plugged in drives would not even energy on. Attempted a known good cable, worked fine, these are trash and you can't return them to newegg. |
