I really like this printer, I rarely print, and my previous ink jet printer cartridges kept drying out in between printings. It was easy to setup, easy to configure on my network, and has a display and controls right on the front. It's energy efficient and works with Apple products flawlessly, just as with Windows.The only downsides to this printer are the colour print qualities, and the cost of replacement toner. The colour photo's printed aren't exactly photo's I'd put on display. They'd work for colour copies of things, but if you're looking for a photo printer, look elsewhere. Replacement toner is super expensive. It comes with introductory cartridges for all colours and black. The normal sized cartridges from HP can total nearly $500! I paid less than that for this printer on sale from NCIX. The cartridges are not refillable as it appears, but you can get it refilled if you drill a hole, and replace an IC chip, or you can get new larger cartridges from etoner's website for under $300 Canadian.Conclusion - If you are looking for an office class printer for your small business, this is the printer for you, unless your printer gets heavy use, in which case, look elsewhere. If you are a medium to large business user, this isn't for your enterprise. However, if you need something for printing at home, but not for amazing pictures for framed display, but rather a presentation, or homework, this printer works great. HP is also there and has your back with over the phone support.4 of 5 stars, it looses a star for the cost of replacement cartridges. Can't dock a star for the quality of colour photo's, the resolution is clearly displayed.
