Right cable for LSI MegaRAID SATA/SAS 9260-4i None As other individuals have stated, make positive you get the Forward cable if you will need it, which is what this is; it connects the controller card to drives/devices.

All. It's a cable. It's effectively created and straightforward. None. No failures. Anything operates.

It's a cable, what more demands to be stated? Okay, it is relatively extended, I didn't measure it but I have a lot of length left more than from going to the RAID card to my tricky drives. I'm using a Coolermaster Storm Sniper case for reference. None seriously. It is a ฤ.00 cable but if you evaluate costs for LSI and 3Ware RAID cards in between the versions with a cable and versions without, the difference is usually at least ฤ.00, typically far more. It's red. I'd somewhat favor black but the "official" a single that was the exact same brand as my RAID card only comes in red, at least right here on Newegg. Oh well, not a huge deal.

Is substantially more flexible than I believed it would be and was easy to route through my case for hiding and organization. None Was less costly to acquire this and the card separate than to obtain the kit.... Go figure. Purchased this with a 3ware 9650se single card which operates good.

Heavy duty cable, nicely shrunk-wrapped at the header. None, it operates. Hey Newegg, shipping could be less expensive, it's a CABLE. ;-) I bought a 9750-4i 3Ware card to run a couple internal SATA drives in RAID0, and I purchased the "single" card (not the "kit) which comes with no cable on objective. Figuring out exactly which cable to use was a job, but I produced the correct choice. This 1 merely provides you four SATA plugs for your drives. It does NOT provide power, there are other cables that do that. I just run power from my Corsair 850w PSU.

Data connection ONLY, works with my Promise Tech Supertrak EX16650 RAID Card, Plugs into my Athena Power difficult drive enclosures I guess it's costly, but put it into perspective - this is for hardware RAID cards, which are typically produced for enterprise. My RAID card came with cables that would not connect to my difficult drive enclosures, due to the reality that they required information and power connectors to be right next to each and every other. I was glad to uncover this product and it functions wonderful!

Worked just like any other SAS to SATA cable. Perhaps some different colour combos could be available but now Im just being picky.

Cable works perfectly with my LSI 8888ELP card Kind of high priced... Make sure you note which kind of cable your card makes use of. There are Forward and Reverse breakout cables - and one won't function with the other!

I was surprised at how good these 3ware cables look. They are properly-created and effortless to work with. Not bulky and hacked up like the set of Adaptec cables I had. High priced

Does not need a 3ware card/backplane to work. n/a I am working with this with an areca card and a supermicro server chassis, no 3ware components - other than these cables.

My business was junking some LSI MR-10i SAS raid controllers, so I grabbed 1 to play with. I don't have any SAS drives at property, but I was able to plug 4 SATA drives up to the SAS controller with this cable. Worked like a charm. Just make sure you have the correct connector on the raid controller side and you're great. It worked with the LSI MR-10i! It recognized all of the SATA drives just fine in the RAID configuration utility on the very first boot! N/A Good purchase!~
