Fantastic cable management, four hotswap drive bays and area to spare. Almost as well large! Be wary of the 24ተƲ pin connector length of your PSU. I got the SUPERMICRO MBD-X8DAH+-F-O which has it close to the "top" even though the PSU (CM's Silent Pro Gold) sits close to the bottom of the case. In the finish I just took a dremel and cut a slot in the plate between the psu and rest of the case. This certainly wasn't the fault of the case, just mine for not considering that a case was so major I'd have to be concerned about cable length THICK steel... Make confident your drill bits are sharp.

This case is precisely what I want in a case. From the form and color, to the ease of working inside the case, to the capabilities offered.-In and of itself, the case is gorgeous. With it's all black every thing and super sharp, clean lines, this thing looks a small like the Monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey.-Installing a technique is great too. All the screws needed are provided and all black (a nice touch!). There is also sufficient space to do fairly a bit in this case. There are cons, however modest and unimportant-expense. This thing is pricey-massive. The case itself is 24x24x9 inches, and it is not light either.-There are a few bugs, also. 1. The SATA 3. backplane doesn't work with either a SATA 6. motherboard or HDD. Removing the backplane is annoying, but uncomplicated. 2. If you have anything installed in the prime five.25" bay, the USB/Audio port door doesn't open or close properly due to the drive's faceplate. Either move the five.25, or shave down it's faceplate. three. Some fan areas are 140mm only, which should seriously be produced to 120 or 140mm. Also: the 3 integrated 140mm fans are silent, but a joke when it comes to air flow. Replaced them with Zaward Golf fans for much more quiet goodness. 4. HDD activity light is Seriously bright white. I've had to cover mine so I can sleep.

Solid caseArea for anythingUnparalelled routabilityGood cable lengths None I bought this for an i7 watercooled rig. I was able to set up an RX360 radiator, mcp655 pump and a bay reservoir all in the case. all the cables are routed in the back, with the exception of the neon lights, I got lazy. The tool-much less side panel releases are my preferred function. I had to take the Computer apart numerous times due to some issues I was possessing with the configuration and the standard thumbscrews would have hurt like hell.Toolless 5.25 slots hold the drives surprisingly nicely.

Pros: Sturdy, clean finish, big

This tower is absolutely amazing, it's built like a rock, has a great black matte finish, and it's large size allows for great air flow. The only real downside that I can think of is it's size. Being so big, some people living in apartments may not be able to fit this behemoth onto their desks.

Steel construction, appears, cable management, odds and ends that are all incorporated (all screws, all motherboard mounts, cable ties, and so on.). The front panel for the USB ports and three.5mm jacks is challenging to access and higher force is needed to disengage the lock. The hot swap door does not close devoid of getting pushed up, as it is not square (tested and verified on two new 800D instances). Side panels are not flush to the prime. If you run your finger on the gap between the top rated panel and the side panel, you will come across uneven sections. I had difficulty fitting a PCI card on the 7th slot of my motherboard, even immediately after re-seating the motherboard. I exchanged my case and it match perfectly; there is obviously some QC problems with square frames. Even when I put the side panels on, I have to slightly rotate the side panel, as the case is not square. Yes, I handled the case with care and did not drop it. No, I did not sit on the case. Be really cautious when putting elements in, as the paint job is tenuous, though it looks fantastic. Does not incorporate a five.25 bay cover for 3.5 drives, an oversight for a higher top quality case. 140mm are typically favored for their silence and potential to push air. The 140mm fans incorporated in this case are silent but, sadly, push very little air. There is a 140mm fan integrated that blows directly on the four hot swappable challenging disks, but with the mounting hardware you attach on and the sturdy cage they are spot in, air flow onto the drives is minimal. Combined with the near useless 140mm fan, the HDDs will be hotter than those in instances with typical front mounted fan configurations. The incorporated eight pin motherboard extension was nice to see, and my 24 pin plug just produced it, but other folks might not, so be careful. No fan covers are included for the top rated 120mm x 3 fans. Even if you have them as exhaust, dust will settle through when the system is off. Uncover a cover if you discover the believed of cleaning your case out twice a year an annoying prospect. If you are the minority that is utilizing air cooling, get a fantastic intake: the 140mm intake on the bottom is a joke - its placement as nicely.

WOW… yes the case is awesome, effortless to work with, strong as a rock, looks fantastic, runs quiet. All the points you were anticipate. BUT here is one thing you wouldn’t anticipate. I constructed my Computer six months ago and not too long ago went to add hard drives. I couldn’t discover the components to the reduce racks and I had also lost one particular of my hot swap trays. I emailed Corsair and asked if how to order replacement components. They asked what I was hunting for and then sent them to me Absolutely free, no shipping practically nothing, entirely Absolutely free. The entire method was me sending an e-mail, them replying in about 18 hours, me telling them what I was searching for, them placing it in the mail 12 hours later. I mean jWOW! AWSOME none Totally free replacement of lost parts by Corsair!!! Unreal, fantastic assistance!!!

Its a fairly metal box to hold laptop components. Nice layout and the cable management is excellent. Holds a 360 Radiator genuinely good in the top rated, the window hides it actually properly. So its a genuinely pretty box. Poor airflow with factory fans installed. A small pricey.

The lack of "bling" I've noticed a lot of complaints for is a pro to me, Its a massive unfurnished apartment, why fill it full of a color/style only some will like, and either transform or just not obtain since of...if you can justify the expense of the case.....a few fans/lights and so forth to taste shouldnt bankrupt you. Cable management is beyond easy, its intuitive, you dont actually need to have directions, it just functions in a logical fashion. Only real con IMO is the Hot Swap bay rig is SATA2, while thats not a true concern right now as mechanical drives cant come close to maxing out sSATA2, let alone 3...Newer Important SSD's do make use of SATA three and every person else will soon...for a boot/OS drive, dont use the hot swap and alls fantastic unless you have truly deep pockets...for now, a year or 3 things could transform as SSD's are approaching mainstream for OS. Lost an egg for that. Brilliant design and style, simply tailored to reflect "your" personality, if you can afford it, its a wonderful platform for now and if they offer an upgrade to the hotswap setup effectively into the future.

I only replaced my case. All other elements remained the same. As a outcome the noise level decreased by an extremely audible level. The style of this case clears up all cabling troubles and does a excellent job with airflow. When I cranked up the processes with my old case the fans would kick in and it could be heard. That does not take place with this case. I really get overall performance and it is quieter at the exact same time. I really like the design for the cable paths and the disk drives. Its a extremely sturdy case (much larger than I expected) and all round I am really pleased. There were 2 major difficulties that I am at present living with. Noted in the cons. Initially. The 12v cable that plugs in from the energy supply can't reach the motherboard connector no matter how you run it. It can't stretch by means of line of internet site and it absolutely can't wrap behind the motherboard as the intuitive case design advertises. I was forced to use a very bulky extension which forces the back panel to bulge.Second. The SATA energy and information plugs are fixed in spot so the drives can slide in and attach. I bought an SSD drive that won't match mainly because the connector on the drive doesn't match. I can't squeeze cables in to the bay mainly because the bay is absolutely closed off forcing you to use the fixed connectors. My only solution is to use the lower drive bays that rely on rail kits with no holes in them. They count on a common drive with holes currently drilled and can't accommodate any option. I'll have to drill holes into the rail kits to make the drive fit. When I fault the drive for not fitting into the housing, I fault the case design and style for the rail kits. With out drilling holes into the rail kits myself, there is no spot to physically attach the name brand SSD I purchased. Even if I get that functioning, one particular of the main appeals to this case is the front loading drive bay which I will have to forfeit. Furthermore a little additional believed may be needed on cable management, even though this case allows for the ideal I have ever seen. It drastically enhanced my airflow which improved performance and also lowered the sound of loud fans in a earlier setup. While it attempted to resolve the issues of other case styles it produced a couple of of its own in the course of action.

The pros exactly where to begin this case is effectively develop i have no challenges with it getting flimsy. The hot swap bays in the front are effectively created most of the tray is created out of metal. The cable management is far better then i have noticed in most situations "no much more seeing wires". The cool is not the ideal but it is very good. Over all i believe it is a properly build case i would extremely suggested it. The cons hmmm effectively it is heavy. Also i feel there could be some far better cooling around the really hard drives. The prices is a bit higher for a case so that could be a challenge. Other then that it is a good case. I would hugely advise the case.

Enormous! This thing can fit anything you throw in there and nonetheless have enough area for a dead body (figuratively speaking). You can place up to 7 challenging drives just by the amount of bays supplied, even additional if you get an hdd bay. This issue keeps my processor and gpu good and cool. Some of the striping has come off. No massive deal, I just super glued it back on. No a single can tell. This case is ideal and makes cable management a breeze. Make positive you can tolerate the size due to the fact its bigger than most full ATX Towers.

Incredibly uncomplicated to operate with. Wonderful make good quality. The backplane for the removable drive trays feels cheap. Right backplanes are commonly created from a single PCB vs. individual ones such as the ones right here. Minor grip about the backplane won't make me uncover another case. This is a wonderful acquire if you want it.

This case is massive. It is truly much bigger than I want. The look and common really feel of the case is fantastic. I adore the hot swap really hard drive bays as effectively as all the cable management choices. Every little thing was incredibly nicely thought out when the case was made. Installation was a breeze! With so considerably area to function almost everything went in flawlessly. Cable routing makes every thing looks amazing. With that mentioned...Even though I adore the case, I am not ecstatic with the fit and finish. The five.25" bay covers don't fairly sit flush with the front of the case. I couldn't use my fan controller simply because it was too short to reach the tool-significantly less 5.25" slide locks. The door on the front usb/firewire ports is a main pain to open and doesn't close rather correct. The door for the really hard drive bays is also a bit of a pain. Like others have stated the plastic components really feel extremely affordable. When I was creating it just touching the fan shroud or sata wiring cover knocked them loose. I have an antec energy provide and the power cable BARELY reached. They include things like a 12v extension, a 24pin extension would have been good and with some energy supplies essential. The cons may possibly look like nit-choosing but when you invest this significantly on a case you expect much more.Little itemsSome sort of shroud or cover, additional fans, or heck just plugs to fill the fan mounting holes on the leading vents would have been good. They are just going to let dust into the case and appears Extremely unfinished as is and I will probably have to make a thing or it will bug me. The dust filter on the bottom of the case is a brilliant idea...having it get rid of from the back of the case is stupid. If I could slide it out the front I wouldn't have to move my case out fight with cables etc just so to take away the filter. Dumb.Non-expansion cards (rear usb headers and such) don't feel really secure when mounted. The thumbscrews didn't fit well, like they tapped the holes ahead of they painted or employed as well heavy a coating on the screws. I needed to use a screwdriver to get them tight. The motherboard mounts don't go the full width of my atx mobo. My dvd drive is loud this case appears to amplify that

Cons: Flimsy locking mechanism on 5.25 drive bays

Pros: Lots of space, great cable management, hot-swappable drive bays
Comment:
I just built a new system using this case and was thoroughly impressed. Extra space made hardware installation and cable management easy. The case is also designed to facilitate Corsairs water cooling systems which I took advantage of to install an H100i. The stock chassis fans included are also very quiet. My only qualms are the plastic locking clips for the 5.25 drive bays are pretty flimsy. I almost broke one getting it to lock in place. And it would have been nice to have the dust filter on the bottom air intake slide out to the side of the case instead of the back. Both of these are pretty minor, though. If you have the space under your desk to store this beast I would highly recommend it.

It's large, I've had lots of mid towers and I've been capable to squeeze every little thing in, namely those 10.5 inch video cards. But squeeze is the suitable word, I've had to move drives and force the cards down alone the HD cage leaving scratches along the finish of the video card, not exciting as I'm sure it was placing additional pressure on the PCI slot than it must have had. Place no such issues right here, it felt good to finish a develop and not be bleeding from numerous fingers. :) In any occasion, the case is really well thought out, the front panel has each HD Audio and AC 97 plugs so your not S.O.L if you have an older board. The cable management is great and the inside of the case when performed appears unbelievably clean/neat. I have a non modular PSU so on my old case, that's a lot of stuff to "hide" some where, no concerns here as the reduce portion that houses the PSU is separated from the major case. It's Big, as full size circumstances must be, but it doesn't fit into the spots that are created for computers on my desk. Of course I had to take the wheels off of my Lian Li case to get them to match as nicely and the air flow was tight. Other con is the back plane does not adequately see six GBs connections it sees them as IDE drives. But in Corsair's defense how several three.five drives are SATA III? There are 3 two.five drive spaces beneath the swappable bays, exactly where you'd put a SSD, i.e. SATA III drive, probably your OS and then just swap your information. Wonderful job Corsair! I've had instances from Lian Li and Antec and whilst both were fantastic, this 1 is excellent. To the individual who complained about the extra charges when obtaining to obtain far more fans...genuinely you're upset that you needed to get a couple of fans that are what, ŭ a piece? You should have some laying about from the final construct. :)

- All black. Almost everything. Steel, aluminum, plastic, etc. All the -components that came with it are also black. - Large, as other people have began. Comparably one particular of the biggest on the industry. Will fit anything and everything. - Grommet method is flawless. Coupled with the huge cable-managing back side behind the primary wall, you can have every little thing wired and see no wires. Every little thing will look super-clean seeking. - Massive mesh constructed-in to the top rated for a radiator or fans...amazing. Mounting holes are currently there, as well. - Covers for the open zones are good and help the clean appear, also.- No bling. Enjoy it. I don't will need 500 blue LEDs or cutesy designs. No. - Anything absolutely everyone else has stated that I didn't. - No USB three. and not SATA three, but that's okay. My MB comes with two USB 3. ports and the SATA 3 internal drives still suck. How several USB 3. devices are even readily available? two ports is a lot for my needs. I like future-proofing but every thing else tends to make up for those cons. This is my 1st case. Ever. I've applied desktops, but under no circumstances owned my own. I knew from the first time I saw this case that it was the best and I doubt I will ever change my thoughts (though superior cases may possibly come out in the future). Content with my buy as most absolutely everyone who buys this is. Newegg managed to get it to me for 赲 + S/H...I'm certainly not complaining.
