I want I would have had this as an choice for my personal laptop. The cage is effectively assembled. Drive mounting screws incorporated (You will require to screws to attach the cage to your case). N/A I hugely recommend this if not just for elevated airflow in your case.

This is a nice setup if you want to store four drives in your 5.25" bays and don't will need an overpriced hotswap carrier. The cage slid into my method with only minimal force. In spite of the couple of flaws beneath, this is ว effectively spent. You require a well magnetized screwdriver/bit to safe the screws into the drives. I spent a lot more time fishing out screws than in fact putting them in as my Phillips bit had only minimal magnetic pull. There is no screen/filter to cover the fan.The fan ends at the chassis and doesn't protrude out like a cdrom drive would which means your drives are further back inside the case. I was able to leave my case's five.25" cover plates which themselves as as a screen/filter. I would image anyone who's case cover plate/filler are those plastic blocks, they would will need to eliminate them to pull in cool air, leaving the fan exposed. They must have created this issue longer so it ends with the case like a cdrom drives does. They would be capable to hold additional room for your tough drives to sit, and could have included a good face panel with a screen/filter.I replaced the LED fan with a non LED fan I had purely for individual reasons.

The price tag is quite reasonable, its painted black and very good excellent develop. The hard drives are also cushioned by rubber pads. You actually do need to have a magnetic screwdriver to very easily get the screws in. The fan is a bit as well loud for my taste (I have a HAF 932), so I plugged it in to 5V and its silent now :)

-Outstanding product-Has a great black coating-I didn't order it simply because of the lighted fan, but the fan genuinely does look nice. I was in a position to install a 120mm filter on it no difficulty-The rubber grommets that insulate the challenging drives from vibration are excellent.-Does exactly what it says it does. -I place this in a server case so I would have liked a larger quality fan more than the lighted less costly factor, but I'm not complaining, it was a good purchase, no regrets.

>super quick newegg shipping! 24hours to send to NV.>Nice orange fan thats not too bright>Slides in with my toolless drive bay (apollo nzxt)>Dusty air intake can all be stopped with a obtain of a filter but beware of short screws (see cons)>Easy set up >you will have a issue putting on a filter due to the fact the screws supplied are as well short. My fan is bent but operating fine simply because of this. .. I could only fit 3 of the 4 screws in location so i guess i just need to have to obtain longer screws. >This fan has far more rpm 񢆈) and has a bit darker blades than the xigmatek orange 120mm fan sold here in newegg.>there are only three cages out in the market that i have seen.. this, thermaltake icage and coolermaster. Just pick based on looks. Despite the fact that the thermaltake icage is negative because of the quite a few additional slits of holes about the cage.

Great way to fit far more drives into my Corsair 800D... The white LED is bright, which some people may well not like, but in my situation its not an problem. A small snug to fit into the situation, but it went in with no scratching.

anti-vibration mounts; holds four hdd; reasonably quiet fan cage mounts a lot further back compared to a competitors making cable management a nightmare w/o 90deg connectors. these types of cages are a big support in residence server builds. just b/c an individual desires a server doesn't imply they want a rack method, and these parts allow the builder to pack in storage space into a common situation otherwise wasted. this is the first 4 hdd unit I've tried, and it mounts significantly further back towards the mobo vs some competitors' 3 hhd units. I assume for my subsequent make I will try the cm 4 bay. regardless of the mount position this is a really good product.

Sturdy, Quiet, Roomy... None, specifically what I needed... Incredibly good to add space in my HAF 932. Shocked at how sturdy it was, and the fan isn't any louder than my rear 140mm. Surely a good addition to an currently awesome case.

Fits in my CM690 optical bays after I removed the "toolless" clips. Effortless to install. None Allowed me to remove the sideways HDD rack in the bottom of the case to make space for a radiator for water cooling. I changed out the orange fan with a Aerocool 120mm shark to match the rest of the case fans.

Stumbled upon these seeking for a hotswap rack, the cost enabled me to save a couple of HUNDRED dollars. I would rather have to open the case each and every now and then than pay that significantly for the hot swap bays. Top quality seems good, they enabled me to stuff 16 hard drives into my Antec 1200 bringing my total to 30TB! 16x2TB for my Windows Residence Server. The rubber feet were a great addition to aid dampen the drives. You need to have a magnetic screwdriver, was not a con for me but I could see this being a issue for some.
