really stylish, a ought to have for gamers. Attributes are awesome. very same functionality as a wired mouse. Battery life is terrible. I knew it wasn't going to be extended but 2 hours is ridiculous. Also, the point is so sensitive. Low frequency sound waves from your speakers will send the mouse cursor on a frenzy. Even so, that truly didn't bother me a lot. As I did, I would propose going with the R.A.T. 7. The only distinction is the reality that the R.A.T. 7 is wired, and with the R.A.T. 9 you get two added weights to add to the mouse. I give my R.A.T. 7 five eggs.

The mouse is even aesthetically cooler in individual than it is in the photographs. All the knobs, buttons and lights make me feel like I'm working with a spaceship for a mouse. The software is really effortless to use, the weights are quite cool, the base is actually quite nice searching and all the interchangeable grips are nicely developed. The precision button is truly more helpful than I anticipated. The battery life is horrid, as other individuals have described. I essentially watched it drain from 35% to 27% for the duration of a 22min episode of Seinfeld. I wasn't using the computer system at the time. The mouse was just sitting there. As other have also pointed out, it is hard to change the battery out of the mouse unless you have extremely robust fingertips. I don't have to take the palmrest off any longer due to the fact the batter has gotten a bit looser, but it still takes a firm fingertip grip to take away the battery. I would advise this mouse to other folks since it is enjoyable to personal, exciting to use and as long as you don't thoughts losing your mouse control in the middle of a match, you will get pleasure from it.

Good modular style The solution just doesn't perform as a gaming device. The battery barely lasts 2 hours when in active use. I've had other wireless gaming mice that can final at least 8 hours, this a single just won't reduce it. Plus the battery can be tricky to take away if you don't get a excellent grip on it. There is barely anything exposed and you superior have a excellent robust grip with no sweat or something else on your fingers to be capable to eliminate it. Repair the battery life, and you got a decent mouse. Nevertheless, its not worth the cost its at the moment at nor is the inconvenience of possessing to swap out the battery each and every hour (yes, each and every hour when using higher DPI).

So this mouse might look rather intimidating at initially but immediately after you get over the extreme appear of it and begin to get into the customization of the mouse to make it great for you. merely place this is the greatest feeling mouse that ive ever owned. From the unique weights to the interchangable pinky and palm rests this has it all to make it unbelievably comfortable. Not to forget of course the diverse profiles that you can set up to map every single button for and combo of essential and mouse strokes. Battery power.....perhaps. I mean 6 hours of consistant gameplay and itll will need a charge but they give you two to start off and you can usually get another. This is of course if i HAD to pick but i havent noticed this as getting a issue seeing as it only takes two hours to charge totally! this is costly....yes it appears crazy but if thats your style and you want to have the very best edge on other people in gaming then do it you wont be disappointed!!!

-This issue just feels good in your hand. -It has a matte textured coating over the complete mouse for good grip and really feel. The coating also tends to make fingerprints a issue of the past. -Just appears awesome. My close friends have all mentioned it looks like a cross amongst the bat-mobile and a transformer which is quite excellent if you ask me. -Battery life is negative. It lasts about 1.five days per charge, but it only takes about 25 seconds to switch out the hot-swappable batteries (The RAT 9 comes with 2 of them) so it isn't a huge deal -The mouse has many great functions that I in no way use. -The "aim" button, or whatever it is referred to as, that lowers the DPI is really cool, and is valuable for FPS games. -The DPI at max 񣁠dpi) is so ridiculously high that it is impractical to use.

-The customizable physical structure of the mouse is good, you can change from 3 unique pinkie rests and 2 palm rests. And adjust the length, weight and angle of the thumb rests so that you can have the best match and grip for fast and lethal gaming.-Great spread in programmability. You can\'t program all of the buttons inside the provided software(Left and suitable click, Precision Aim, and Key Scroll wheel(Apart from sensitivity) can\'t be programmed.).-The feel of the entire mouse is great. No matter whether your style is the 'claw' or you just hold the whole mouse in your palm, it will really feel and move good.-The connection to the wireless receiver was good for me. Other people seem sot have problems but I had no loss in connection or jumpy mouses. I at present use a GameInformer Magazine as a mousepad. Spacey, and a smooth surface. -Batteries will not charge(see other thoughts for far more info)-I can generally adapt to mouses rather fast, but this new mouse was challenging, I found simply because of the mouse getting larger than most, that my fingers would be all more than the mouse. And this mouse is truly sensitive so the slight pressure from my finger more than the principal left and suitable click buttons would continuously have them going off. I would uncover myself just searching the internet and suitable clicking everywhere a lot.-The laser sensor is also very sensitive, the slight movement from the mouse anytime I clicked on anything would void the click simply because the mouse would move ever so slightly and register it as a 'drop-and-drag' try. This was an overall great mouse, for the short time that I had it. I assume a total of three days? The first time I ordered this mouse, I was excited to come across it at my doorstep, though I was disappointed later to locate out that my batteries would not charge. So for the short time I had, I enjoyed this mouse. I sent it back for a replacement and it came a couple of or two later. Only to discover out, once more, that my batteries will not charge. I docked 3 eggs for this key flaw. This must not take place for such an costly mouse. What use is a wireless mouse devoid of it's batteries? Neither of the two incorporated would charge, each instances.I'm returning this mouse and I'm going to purchase a Naga Epic Dual Mode mouse. I appear forward to writing a evaluation on that in the upcoming weeks.

I like the potential to modify every little thing on the mouse. Tends to make it actually comfortable. Hated the jerkiness. No matter what I did, improve or decrease the DPI, adjust the "autocorrection". It would constantly stroll or it just...in no way felt smooth. The wireless receiver was suitable there by the mouse. I used this mouse for more than a month, considering I needed to get used to it...but I by no means could. I just went back to my worn out Logitech MX.

If you are searching for a mouse that will match each a single if your desires, this is the one. Does every little thing as advertised. The battery "issue" is not a massive deal. If you have the extra cash, I would surely advocate this "Rat". On the other hand, if you don't have a ton of additional cash, get a thing a small less expensive. Disregarding price tag, this is the perfect mouse for the hardcore gamer.

Custom every little thing! The really feel of this mouse is perfect in spite of looking clunky and awkward. Great top quality really feel for positive. Loved the programmable buttons and the second scroll wheel. extremely beneficial. On-the-fly adjustment for DPI was great as well. Fantastic software program package. Batteries... but I had quite good luck despite other peoples' evaluations. Couldn't ever get this issue to function for me. When I try to click on a close button to close a window or do anything "fine tuned" in windows I had a lot of trouble clicking on smaller points. could just be me, but i have applied sensitive mice for several years and loved all the other people. This issue truly desires a mouse mat! on my wood desk the issue just jumps all over the place or "hits a wall" and i can't get the cursor to go previous a point on the screen. (hard to describe in a couple of words) it performs far better on a white mouse mat than grey or black. not sure but i really feel like the fine tune movements are not correct since of the wireless function even although it's RF... I returned this item mainly because i felt it may well have been defective. and if not defective it was Genuinely not a great mouse and especially for the money. also this issue is a quite darn heavy mouse with out the weights in it. if you like a light mouse this is NOT for you. The wired version of this mouse could be a complete lot much better for significantly less cash. Do your research! study numerous reviews before you pull the trigger on this expensive beast. I liked it at very first since it was "cool" and each day use (coupled with it's achievable defectiveness) made me hate it.

This mouse is incredibly customizable, from the weights to the shape of person parts of the mouse. The DPI adjustments on the fly genuinely enable when I go from playing RTS to FPS games, or switching with others in my property for gaming. Sniper button is essential when going for absolute precision. The computer software is quite lightweight, and always stays in the background, under no circumstances causing a problem. Battery life is only about 2 hours per charge, but batteries charge up in a small beneath 30 minutes. The mouse has recently been losing connection to the receiver, with the only repair getting to plug another mouse in at the same time and it somehow "resets" the connectivity. Fairly a discomfort when between games or in a lobby waiting for the subsequent game... Starting out equal to a normal wireless mouse @ 3 eggs. ư eggs for customization and absolute gaming possible, -1 egg for battery life becoming so low, -two eggs for the terrible connectivity concern.Preordered this mouse early December, received it on December 28th due to early release. This mouse was a fantastic investment, but following significantly less than two months of typical gaming time it has develop into essentially useless, losing connection at inopportune instances.

Sniper buttonFully customizableSniper buttonWirelessSniper buttonHot swappable battery packsSniper button Expensive Battery is a tiny difficult to pull out at initial, but I'm sure soon after awhile it'll probably loosen up Just got mine in currently. So far I appreciate this point! No difficulties at all, did notice the cursor moves a hair downward if I lift it up (don't know if this is the "glitch" everyone is complaining about?) but I know that to lift it up, it naturally rocks backward in my hand ahead of coming off of the mousepad, so I'm guessing it comes from that. Surely not a deal-breaker, and I adore possessing wireless! Can take it from my desk to the couch in my space whilst watching movies. And the sniper button; drops the dpi a percentage at the press of a thumb. Wonderful for FPSs, but also in general computer system use as nicely, probably great for photo editing too. Bottom line, if you have the cash, this mouse guidelines!

Fully customizable. And looks awesome!!! A lot. The pointer is jerky, unless you have it on a mousepad, no matter what DPI you have it on. The battery last 6 hours for me. But the worst...it stopped working for me last week. I bought this the 1st day it came out and utterly dissappointed in what I had bought. I really should have purchased the Logittech G19 keyboard for that type of funds.

Fits all my requirements for a mouse. Doesn't fit my specifications as effectively as the G7, which came out about 6 years ago. I owned 2 G7's in a row and it is my favourite mouse ever, although they did fall victim to the G7 curse of not registering a click all the time after 3 and 2 years of use respectively. When the RAT 9 was announced I was so delighted, a new wireless, battery hot swappable mouse, and with far more buttons and customizability to boot.Regrettably they somehow managed to make a worse mouse. The fantastic:Customizability is good.Looks cool if you are into the design.Lots of buttons. The poor:Battery is quite challenging to eliminate, each from the mouse and docking station, at least compared to G7 with a release button. Seriously I like hot swappable batteries, it was the primary cause I got this, why don't they make it less complicated to get rid of?Why does the mouse fall asleep immediately after a even though? I need to have to click a button rather of just moving the mouse and it seems to have a brief sleep period. They couldn't make the battery LED really indicate a charge level? It has either total, or low,

havent had any wireless interruptions, batteries are sweet (take roughly 30 minutes to charge completely and last about 4 hours of solid gaming. took me roughly 30 minutes to get the appropriate 'fit' of my hand, but 30 minutes is nothing for sheer mouse perfection imo.the range is rediculous- i was a good 30 feet away in one more room and it worked without a hitch. great for multimedia machines as properly i guess lol like always, every person says 'its heavy.' It is in truth heavier than a standard plastic junk mouse but whatever. Its not 5 pounds so i say quit becoming whiny brats I'll inform you all appropriate now - i have owned the majority of mice: this one particular essentially delivered to my expectations. I am the variety to study so long that by the time you get around to ordering one thing, its almost out of date...so i crammed as much study as i could ahead of making my final choice - this was THE appropriate choice, no doubt in my mind.

Has incredibly good customizations, looks and design. I really like the reality that when your battery dies the other a single has already been totally charged for a long time waiting for the swap. The software program's very straightforward to use specially when you will need to bind a button to your keyboard for certain games that don't recognize your mouse buttons. Sleek comfortable and not as heavy as people today claim. Comes also with a quite nice braided cord on the receiver and is built extremely nicely structurally. I only have 1 complaint with this mouse and sadly this a single difficulty majorly outweighs its positives. The issue is the laser, for me the laser is sluggish at instances causing lag and becomes close to useless on FPS. Majority of gamers who are going to buy this mouse are purchasing it for performance and the types of games in my opinion that will need that extreme efficiency is FPS. I watched a big drop in my kill:death ration mainly because during game play it would act as if it was skipping signals to the receiver. The worst portion was when the left and right movement would absolutely give out leaving only the up and down axis obtainable. I would then just sit and wait for it to fix itself. Now I have tried several surfaces and finish up with the same outcomes and have even utilised pads created for gaming. So if your looking for a very great mouse and not into competitive game play this is it, but for the income I wanted high efficiency and did not receive it. A thing to preserve in thoughts is the defect is reoccurring and becomes worse more than time meaning: for me it didn't not show up inside the initially 30 day return/swapping period allowed for this product . It also could maybe use a beeping noise in the computer software so that when the battery runs low it verbally tells you to get ready for a swap, simply because lets face it when had been dominating the field whose going to have time nor keep in mind to appear over at the mouse to verify the battery life indicator :)

i can't seriously add substantially else that already hasn't been said. from customizing to the sniper button to the wonderful wireless range, this mouse is fairly considerably best.one region i do want to hit on is the multimedia capabilities of this mouse. though i assume a lot of gamers will want this mouse for it's wonderful gaming capabilities, using it as a multimedia controller is a single of the hidden gems this mouse offers.my personal computer is hooked up to my tv, and i have a "tv profile" setting on the mouse (you can have three different profiles). i have the thumb scroll wheel as my page zoom in/out for easily viewing internet pages, and my other buttons set as hot-keys for multimedia playback. of course because it's wireless, i can use it anywhere in the room. the thumb scroll wheel, though in gaming hasn't been extremely useful to me, has been an incredible function to have while browsing the world wide web on my tv. the battery life could be far better, i have to adjust it out pretty much every single day. the act of in fact changing out the battery is a bit tough, it's truly difficult to get your fingers in there. the best way i deal with this is to take off the palm rest so i can get a greater grip on the battery.it is heavy, but i don't actually come across this as a con. i like a heavy mouse. but if you're a individual who likes to pick up their mouse and set it down, this mouse might not be the finest choice for you. on the other hand, i have some other thoughts on that matter in which i assume this mouse eliminates the want to do that. i am mainly an fps gamer. i utilised to have to lift up my mouse and reset it, due to the fact with any other mouse, you sort of have to discover that finest dpi for all circumstances. too high, and it's tricky to really aim, too low, and you aren't in a position to spin around as speedily. i'm not a pro gamer, so accurately aiming with a super high dpi just isn't an solution for me. i'd set my dpi in the middle, enabling me to aim accurately, but also needing to choose up and reset the mouse for speedy turning. this mouse eliminates that require. getting an on-the-fly button that immediately modifications the dpi offers me the ideal of each worlds. i can preserve my dpi high for operating around, though getting the choice of swiftly lowering it for aiming. each and every. gaming. mouse. need to. have. this. it won't necessarily make you a far better player, it just tends to make the knowledge much more fluid.beyond gaming, this mouse continues to surprise me. whether it's for multimedia or just everyday use, this is the greatest mouse i've ever owned.

Extremely high DPI. Adjustable weight. Lots of configurable buttons. Comfy really feel. No Mac assistance. You'll have to obtain a different system to get the non-common buttons to work. Um, that's just dumb in my view. I expect most USB hardware to consider about us Mac users in the year 2010. Yes, there are Mac gamers out here -- SCII, WoW, Steam, Diable three -- I mean, come on.I also locate that I habitually choose up my old mouse each when in a while to move it phsically devoid of moving my cursor. Well this mouse it a tiny hard to do that with since of it's form factor. Overall, I'm nonetheless pleased with my acquire. But to not support Macs in this day and age... It's just odd. It's not that tough to assistance Macs and PCs on a single disk -- all of the other hardware producers do it.

Coolest mouse that will get you noticed. Solid Construction, effortless software For me the advantage to wireless is that it's portable, umm.... massive base station makes it not so. Battery life will surely kill your game only lasts a couple of hours lame!!!!! Much better mice available for half the price tag. Height is not adjustable and it's too low profile to fit my hand. Purchased this mouse and the logitech G700 at the similar time. G700 is ์-๖ less costly, has a lot more programmable buttons, has computer software that will allow you to set profiles that are plan specific, endless scroll endless scroll endless scroll, oh and did I mention the endless scroll. The only thing the rat9 has on the G700 is the aim button, and you can program that into the G700. Go with Logitech save some cash and get a superior product. There is a excellent reason they are a superpower in the marketplace. Better product chaper

I like the various batteries, the battery life was shorter than most mice I have noticed, but that is made irrelavent by the capability to swap it out. And of course it just looks amazing. Incompatible with linux (apparently the entire R.A.T. series locks up shortly right after boot practically all distros just becoming pluged in..) had concerns with jerky movement in windows that I don't have with mouse I am replacing (may be two.4ghz band interference, but my old mouse is also in the exact same band, and has no complications), and I have quite significant hands, and though this mouse is adjustable, when adjusted to max size, the mouse rocks on the heel like a teeter-totter. The thumb section with the browser forward/back and aim button is spread to far out, the adjustment forward/back assists but when adjusted so the aim button is forward to just barely reachable, I have to get rid of my hand to get my thumb back to the back button. The thumb roller has the very same concern made worse by the truth that it can't be moved. Just not for me. (Warning, linux technical...) When booted, the mode switch on this mouse sends with out anything getting booted, a "button 13 press" with out a release, the 3 modes are assigned to virtual buttons 13, 14, 15, and when the mode button is pressed, it sends "last mode finally released, subsequent button pressed" this leads to some button generally becoming listed as getting pressed, this locks up x11 at some point.

Very good wireless gaming mouse. I never notice any lag during Battlefield 3 game play. Battery will last a good gaming day 6-7 hours and but you can rapidly swap the lithium battery with the one charged in the base station. The battery take 3 hours to charge and you get up to 7 hours of continuous game play. The customization of the mouse make it confortable, and make it fit your hand perfectly. It won't fit you if you have small hands.Recommanded...Have fun !

Perhaps I've been spoiled with my Logitech mice, but if this factor had a charging cradle it would be best.
