Cons: No USB cable included - not a huge deal

Pros: LaserMulti function
Comment:
The printer works great. It is exactly as I expected from a multi function laser printer. If you can catch it on sale it has great value that cannot be passed on.

Simple setup - set this up on 3 household computer systems, such as on Snow Leopard, XP and Vista. Networking capability.Beneath 贄.Fantastic for documents. Doesn't scan to PDF without having utilizing the application supplied; only 1 computer can use the software; not a massive deal as there are cost-free applications, but would have liked to be able to set up the plan on unique machines It does specifically what I want it to do for precisely the value. You can plug it straight into your router soon after initial setup and use it from anyplace in your property network. How can you beat a Laser printer <贄?

Priced laserjet printers, and decided on this MFP. Why pay the identical price for just a printer when you can get a scanner/fax/copier/printer? Very best of all, it connects by means of LAN connection, so I don't have to preserve this dangling off a operating computer. The MFP runs it's personal 'website' so you can set up computer software and drivers more than the network. Components appear thin and flimsy, but then, I'm not utilizing this as a transportable printer, so no worries there. Only other 'con' is this printer prints out an instruction sheet every single time you set up a personal computer to use it. Guess you could chalk it up to a 'test page'. No eggs off for these cons, although. Can't truly speak to the other functions beyond some test scans of a photo (excellent!). Have not utilized as a fax machine, and frankly - with a scanner constructed in, I'd a lot more than likely just scan and e-mail documents rather than leave a telephone line hooked up to compete with my voicemail. Only time will inform how lengthy the toner will last.

Functions very efficiently with our workplace database, has a small footprint and requires extremely little desk space. AIO Functions is perfect along with laser printing is very rapidly. Printer setup and application install is incredibly easy even for the non-technical individual. Comes out of sleep mode quite speedily. Was available at a great price tag when the rebate was integrated (purchased at 赉). LCD Display could use back lighting. The Software program Set up does not initially set up the HP Tool Box feature. Has to be installed later and the HP Tool Box is a very useful function to access Faxing Logs and Phone Book.

Sets up with out disc. When you plug in usb cord it will direct you to select your set up right after launch, network or USB. You have to plug in USB to trigger auto install. It is quickly, quiet, economical and quite unassuming. Fax setup is quick and painless and scan quality is very high. So 1 of the best pro's is you CAN'T lose your driver disc. If you like bling superior put this in your closet, it's plain Jane, and all enterprise, precisely what it must be. I can only picture why this printer is on sale everywhere, but for the price, it can't be beat as an superb MFC printer offering anything you require and nothing you don't. Read the guidelines ahead of setting up and you will have a painless set up.

A fantastic all-in-one. I like the networking cababilities, plug in the eithernet cable look it up on the network and install the drivers. Each and every laptop in the house now has wireless access to it.Scans nicely, I like the self feeding tray. The complete cartridge it came with only lasted for around 806 pages. I know a cartridges life span varys based on what you print. 250 of these pages had been wedding invites/responce cards, note specifically a thousand word essay. We will see how extended the next one lasts. Also the HP software program did what HP computer software does and fudged up so I had to re-install the drivers and junk, not a big deal just unnecessary. I don't have a land line so I have no concept how well the fax performs. I'm sure it's operates fantastic even though.

This is a great machine. We have employed it for printing, faxing, and copying and it does everything we ask it to. I really like the automatic feed tray for copying stacks of papers. Operates properly as a fax machine as well. We paired this with a Netgear powerline networking adapter so it can go anyplace in our residence. It's not wireless. That's not truly a con of the machine, that's a con of my wallet. You can go additional expensive and get one that's wireless. Haven't scanned images or anything with it yet. It is utilised as an workplace MFP and performs great as such.

So far so good, it does what it says. Making use of it with Windows 7 64bit with it linked via the network. Setup was effortless, and worked proper away with no difficulties. Print excellent and speed is very good for its class. Perfect for property or smaller business use. And as usual, Newegg's awesomeness had it to me in 48 hours. Design and style is a bit lacking. But I didn't take any eggs off due to the fact I knew what I was obtaining when I paid for it. Don't get this printer expecting it to dish out high volume pages for a huge workplace. Oh, and of course, no USB or network cable integrated... but then no printer manufacturer does... absolutely everyone knows that... so recall to obtain a single with your printer.

This point is for working, Monochrome, so don't purchase it for printing your trip pictures. Network-Printer, which literally indicates you can hook it on to your router and every personal computer in your household/office, whether or not wired or wireless will come hunting for it. Also, you can simple setup, install drivers, either wired or wireless. What I'm trying to say is that, I'm pretty impressed, it is peace of cake setting it up, and lovely to work with. Quick also. As far as printing goes, I have no issues with it. Scanner is 90% satisfactory. And I'm in really like with the factor. Does not offer a free well being care.

This printer replaced an Very old xerox printer that still works but there are no drivers beyond Windows XP (it connects by way of a parallel port). I really like the network printing as it tends to make life a lot simpler around the household as we no longer have to use a computer system especially for the printer. It is a excellent printer and no problems setting it up with the included CD.Also noted that absolutely everyone in the household prints a lot for different causes and this saves up a lot of hassle. None that I can see To the individual complaining about not which includes the USB or CAT5 cable... ALL printer manufacturers do not involve the cable. So do not take it out on HP for that as its an business typical for years.

Pros: Fast printing, easy setup, network connection

A great printer if your looking for something fast and reliable. The toner cartridge are really cheap if you look for third party options(between 15 to 35$). It start printing within 1-2 seconds. The document feeder is quite usuful if you wish to copy or scan a multipage document.

It truly does what it is told, absolutely nothing far more, absolutely nothing less. Set it up is fairly straightforward. You can install drivers no matter if wired or wireless. Compatible with Windows 7. You don't have to obtain a USB cable if you intent to setup this printer in your Work/Homegroup; RJ45 cable would do that just fine for every little thing.Because this is a Monochrome, printing is completely fast. Even printing a B/W picture on a 8.5x11 paper is a flash.I haven't tried the faxing so I can't comments on that. The scanner is definitely in my satisfactory. A 1200dpi will take about two.5-three.5mnts depending on the size. I can't compare the scanner, so I won't say "its the very best scanner out there," but, for 赔.00? I'm extremely much delighted. Printer software program (Not the drivers) is genuinely outdated. You dont have to acquire the USB printer cable if you are installing this printer in your Home or Work Group. The RJ45 cable will take care of that: installing your drivers. But, you do have to have to purchase a RJ45 cable, because none come with this printer. Who doesn't have a RJ45 cable laying about somewhere? Or ask your next-door neighbor. Also, the reviewer who's fuming mainly because the USB cable is missing really should know printers in no way come with information cables.

I'll let you know when I can basically USE the machine. This item does not come with the cable you require to connect to your pc or router! I was totally shocked and dismayed (and spent an hour on the telephone with HP to tell them so) that HP wouldn't contain a Essential piece of equipment with this item. I repeat, you Can\'t connect this printer to your pc or wireless router with out buying a USB cable separately. You wouldn't know it from the advertising for this product, so I'm telling you. If you don't already have the proper cable at your household/home office/business, you require to acquire 1 if you basically want to use this printer. I am supremely annoyed. HP desires it both methods: they want to exclude important equipment so that they can advertise the lowest cost BUT they don't want to tell you that they've excluded a crucial component from the box. What they get now is an irate customer.
