It's neat, and pretty. I am making use of it with the SYBA SY-PCI48001 PCI to Compact Flash Adapter for additional space in a silent Computer. I agree the speed is not as one particular could hope, but it's fine for my purpose. I chose the Kingston additional for reliability as I've had great luck with desktop RAM and USB flash drives.

Great worth for the income. Totally reputable Possibly a little slow, but not poor. I have utilised this card for over 1 year in my Nikon D200. Although this card could not be rapidly sufficient for video or operating program builds, it has worked flawlessly in my older camera. I get RAW photos in my ten MP camera. I shoot lots of action stuff (lacrosse mainly) and it has never let me down. I do at times have to wait a second or so for the camera buffer to unload, but that is just as a lot a function of my camera's create speed as the card's. This card has not let me down. I am going to get yet another. They're inexpensive. If you have an older camera (circa 2005-2006) then this card will be just fine.

none utilized it once on my D70 and worked wonderful, but the second time it was corrupted, waste of time and $. I like Kingston, but this card stinks. I'm going for the 4GB card now, a lot of great testimonials on that one. Remain away from the 16GB!!!

None. May function with slower cameras or devices. This card produced corrupted files correct from the get go. Reformatted card to no avail. My pair of cameras are Canon 1D MarkIII. I use 266x and 300x CF cards (Transcends and RiData) for nature and sports activities. Thought I would use this card in one particular camera for shots that do not call for a speed card such as landscapes etc: ironically this card is pricier than the Transcend which I by no means troubles with.

huge size at a low price with a excellent speed. I shoot with a 10 megapixel olympus e510 and if i shoot in raw+shq it does take a second or two to save each and every photo but the claimed speed of the chip is 133x or 20mbps so it must take over a second to save! none this isn't supposed to be 300X speed so the men and women complaining about the speed must either buck up and buy the 300x or quit complaining! heck i could even see them giving this chip a four egg rating if they arent happy with the speed but the 1 egg a couple of them rated it at is just a statement to their complete lack of understanding.

It is 16 gigs Genuinely genuinely horribly slow. As in slow to the point of uselessness. Feel slow and then subtract alot additional speed. I wanted to use this as the key drive in a low-power MSI motherboard. Other evaluations pointed out it being slow but they did not capture the incredible slowness of this card. I replaced it with a 300x card and it was simply ten times more quickly than this turtle. Do not obtain this card if speed is *any* type consideration for your process.

excellent value, massive card, lasted me nearly two years of use not quick at all compared to whats out there now. Ive owned this card for nearly 2 years and its been a good card, but is not quite rapidly. my 7D does have write buffer difficulties once in a when when attempting to record HD video, most the time it does perform even though. If a card has issues accepting data from the camera, there can not be any "pros." I have in no way had an situation with Kingston cards. The two I bought several months ago at 贄.00 worked fine and I was pleased with the obtain. I purchased 4 of these recently and my D3 hesitated and issued a "bad memory card error" on at least two of the cards. Maybe it's an outsourcing situation, poor QC or a diverse batch; what ever the case may possibly be, I can't trust them and returned them to Newegg. I have to replace these 4 cards and I am going to stick with Sandisk.

Kingston name. They are about 5 minutes from my residence. Slow slow slow. Do not purchase this if you're shooting RAW files that are 12mb or bigger. It takes forever to take 1 photo. There's even a delay in the image displaying up on screen. I have Nikon D700 and D300. The Transcend 16GB is considerably more rapidly and a correct 133x. This Kingston feels like a 80x at very best. I would have returned this memory card if I could discover the receipt.

This card really is 16GB and now is at a incredibly desirable price. It also seems trustworthy Ɩk pictures so far with out any problems). While write speed appears extremely slow, read speed seems fairly good. Write speed is Quite slow compared with my other cards also rated at 133x ( A-Information and Transcend cards). This is not the card to use if you are shooting bursts of images (particularly RAW). This card is not best for circumstances exactly where you could be shooting bursts of RAW images. It will do for weddings but not for sports. I adore obtaining all that space on a single card but I there have been a number of instances that I have had my camera buffer complete and had to wait an added few seconds involving shots. Study speed is decent. I would in all probability make this buy again to have as a backup/large card as it is very nice to be able to shoot an entire wedding on a single card.

Significant size. I must say i saw the evaluations saying it was slow but i never ever would have guess that it would slow down my 7d. As soon as i get about 500 photographs on it my 7d can no longer do high speed steady shooting which is sort of annoying. When transferring making use of usb its only get about 7 mb/s but when working with my variety 54 express card slot on my laptop it gets 27 mb/s. With the card slot its better but it nevertheless slows down my Canon 7d which i dont blame the camera for.

None Read/write speed so slow as to be useless. I bought card to use as mp3 storage in my automobile. This card plays much less than 1 song before it bogs down, and basically stops. I will attempt it in a camera at some point, but for my intended goal it worthless.

Cheap, modest, light, reasonably quick. Performs excellent in my iPod 2G 4GB Mini. A fantastic bargain if you want to upgrade a little CF/Microdrive based device. Sorta slow. It seem's that it will be fine for copy a handful of songs over at a time, but ㅄ minutes to copy 1050 songs. I picture the speed won't be undesirable when I'm only adding 20 or so songs. I'm obtaining an concern with my hold button that wasn't there just before, though it appear fairly far fetched that the new drive did this. Regardless, I've posted the issue iLounge in the Ipod mini section ('Freezes when hold switch is off')

No troubles with card thus far. Longtime Kingston user and this has caused no exception with four-5 months use If you are looking for higher speed photography, then spend the price tag. However this does just fine for regular shooting and I have even accomplished model photography with no real problems. At this price these that complain for speed should be seeking at other cards. Nevertheless I have noticed other individuals complain the cards had been just poor. Taking my probabilities and getting a second simply because I have many 4GB cards from Kingston that have under no circumstances provided me concerns either.

Like the Assessment Title says. I employed this to replace the HDD in iPod mini's and it functions devoid of a lick of difficulty. It's faster than the HDD that was in the mini. And the CF is silent. None

Four occasions the original capacity of my 4GB iPod mini. It ought to be sturdier mainly because there are no much more moving parts. The battery need to be far more effective since of no much more moving components also. Lifetime warranty on Kingston cards. A lot more than fast enough for this application. CF card rates are presently also high. I bought my CF card from a competitor for 31 dinero and will not buy another 1 from anybody till the costs drop substantially. I'm not into watching videos on tiny screens so a good quality mp3 player is ideal for me. Additional space than I'll ever will need. Peace of thoughts realizing that I don't have to worry about an imminent tough drive failure (and the original micro difficult drives WILL FAIL at some point). Don't invest added cash for a more quickly CF card due to the fact the slowest CF card will be more quickly than the old micro tricky drive anyway. Total cost to extend the life of my iPod mini was ึ (CF card, battery and tools). If you upgrade your iPod's storage, place a fresh battery in there too!

I am a semi-pro photographer and have been employing Kingston (and Sandisk) for years. Kingston cards are less costly and works just as nicely as Sandisk (excluding Extreme IV). I now have 8 of these 16GB CF cards and they perform wonderful! My other Kingston cards consists of 2GB, 4GB and 8GB CF cards. All are fantastic. none ... even so this listing is far more high priced that NewEgg's other listing for the same card, just a newer part number (CFቬGB-S2KR), which is less than ำ
