Cons: Price

Pros: Easy to install.Adds more hdd space.
Comment:
I bought this as i was running out of room in my p182. The unit is a little long and sticks out once fully inserted into the drive bay. Replaced the fan on the unit as i didn't really like the LED. A little bit pricey but i did a pm to bring the price down so it was reasonable. It is reusable even if you just want to add another fan into your case. Wanted to add that there were no metal pieces blocking the fan like it shows in the picture so maybe they updated them. This review was modfied by poster @ 06-25-09 10:38 PM

Cons: Pricey, front pads restrict airflow, bracket mounting holes snapping off screws

Pros: Anodized aluminum front, great look, vibration dampeners
Comment:
This product looks great and does the job it needs to but there are two issues I've had with it. First, there are these aluminum pads between the drive cage and the fan that are extremely restrictive to the airflow from the fan. I guess they're in there to prevent you from sliding the HD into the fan blade but, that would be impossible since they're screwed in. So I recommend cutting those off before installation.I've also had two screws (included with this) snap off at the head when I was trying to tighten them into my TJ07 case. I don't know if the holes aren't big enough, or not deburred enough, but i get a lot of resistance half way down into the tightening and had two heads snap off from me trying to tighten it. Now its impossible to get those screws out

Cons: Crummy fan. price

Pros: Build quality, rubber mount, more..
Comment:
This is one of the more expensive bay converters, but it is defiantly worth the extra price (also price-match)The fan is easily removedIt is very well designed to fit all 5.25 bays (unlike some)holds 4 harddriveslooks goodvery low air flow restriction (ignoring hard drives)

Cons: Not a big fan of the fan. It could definitely stand to have a higher static pressure considering what it has to blow through, and I also don't particularily like have blue LEDs at the front of my case. That last part is more personal preference though, and if it matches your current case configuration, all the better. I'll probably replace it when I have some time, though.

Pros: Looks great in my TJ07Perfect when you have extra 5.25" bays and need to remove your HDD cage(s) to install something in your caseSolid construction (as most Silverstone products seem to be) and runs quite quietlyEasy installation
Comment:
Bought this so I could remove the HDD cages from the bottom of my TJ07 case and put a PA 120.3 rad in there instead. Works great (except possibly for the fan, which could stand to have more static pressure) and looks amazing when installed. Not a big fan of the blue LEDs on the fan, but that's my preference and will most likely replace the fan anyway. Great product for anyone wanting to do modifications to their case or just install something where the stock HDD cage(s) are in the way.

Cons: -Low airflow

Pros: -Easy install-Nice clean look-Quiet
Comment:
Decent product, looks really nice and is easy to install. However, for a Silverstone product I am disappointed in the fan. Usually their fans blow ALOT of air but well this one just doesn't cut it. It is very quiet but there are many better fan choices that could have gone into this unit. Might want to consider replacing fan with a better one if you have it full of HD's.

Comment:
Bought this a few months ago. It is quiet and looks great. The hard drives mounted in it average in the mid to high 20 degree Celsius. They are 80gb 7200rpm drives that are used a minimum of 10 to 12 hours everyday and have never hit 30 degrees, the coolest my drives have ever run.

Cons: None really

Pros: Very good workmanship, good for relocating/adding hdd's,brushed aluminum in satin black
Comment:
I installed this drive converter into a lian li pc60b plus case to make more room for gts cards. I now have room for the gtx if I want. The unit is mounted in rubber grommets and has a blue led fan which takes some getting used to.The only downside is you can no longer tuck cables in to that space
