I love this keyboard because of its sound after pressing it. This isn't fully mechanical, for its price there are fully mechanical keyboard. But its design and material used, it is definitely more durable than almost any mechanical keyboard.

Cons: None. If you want backlighting or additional features, you're going to pay more, plain and simple. This keyboard is excellent.

Pros: -Simple but sweet aesthetics-Comfortable-Feels well made-Price is very difficult to beat for cherry reds
Comment:
I've wanted a mechanical keyboard for a while, but I kept going back and forth on which switches to purchase for gaming. Eventually, I took a chance on the Cherry Reds because I'd heard how responsive they were. Honestly, I couldn't be happier. I was worried by talk of having to "rest" my fingers on the keys or otherwise press them down by accident on account of their light, super linear nature. If you're concerned about that, don't be. They have enough resistance to comfortably rest your fingers... unless, perhaps, you were born with bear paws. Another thing I'd heard about Cherry Reds was that you'll make mistakes typing because how how easily they're pressed. That may hold true with some other brands' older models, but on the K60, this is far from the truth. I type a certified 100wpm with 0 errors. If anything, this sucker has probably increased my typing speed by a minimum of 10WPM. Trust me, it feels so good, I actually enjoy typing... which seems like a rather strange thing to say.I thought the grooved WASD, 123456 keys were going to be a bit gimmicky, but I was surprised again. They are comfortable, and I'll definitely be leaving them on for this keyboard's duration. On the other hand, the wrist pad felt like it was slightly too raised for me to comfortably hit CTRL. I know I could easily get used to it, but why bother? My hands aren't falling off anyway. On another note, I'm a hardcore FPS player. I've tested it pretty intensely with a variety of games including Black Ops 2, Battlefield 3, and Chivalry Medieval Warfare (for something different). It feels like the same awesome keyboard in every single instance. I won't want to buy a non-mechanical keyboard eva', particularly for FPSing it up.If you've followed me this far, do yourself a favour and pick it up. I got it for 89.99 with a 20 dollar mail in rebate. For 70 dollars, hell, for 90 dollars... it's almost impossible to beat with the quality of product presented. This thing feels like it was built to last the full 50 million keystrokes advertised. Also, as advertised, it's plug and play with zero issues. The volume slider is smooth and responsive... and that's about it.Why are you still even reading this?

Pros: CheapMechanicalHigh key rolloverMinimalist design
Comment:
I bought this keyboard after taking a hiatus from gaming for several years. Even outside of gaming I've always preferred a mechanical keyboard and I wanted something affordable. The K60 provided an affordable solution. It is mechanical, has a minimalist look with a nice black and silver look. Overall the buttons are pretty small, but no worse than your standard keyboard size. The keys are loud if you bottom them out, as expected with a mechanical keyboard. The keyboard itself is fairly heavy but seems well made, with a braided cord included. A key at the top can be found to prevent the windows button from working, which is a nice touch.Overall very satisfied for the price, as a backlit keyboard would be far more expensive and you never look at the keys anyway. Only issue I had was the keyboard was not recognized by my Biostar motherboard, until after I flashed the bios therefore it is unlikely the fault of the keyboard.

This product is worth the price. I honestly don't think I'll ever need to buy another keyboard again. It's resilient to any button wear and tear, operates after 6 months like it does on day one.Brushed metal casing makes it not only look good, but stay clean and look clean all the time. The interchangeable keys for wasd 123456 I have on red all the time because it does make it easy to feel when I am reaching around, and make them easy to see if I glance for a quick second. A great keyboard to type on, because after hours of typing it's soft on your fingers, and doesn't require a lot of typing pressure. For gaming it has fast response time to remove as much delay as possible between thinking "QQQQQQ" and actually sending that command to the computer.

Comment:
This keyboard is really aesthetically pleasing. The keyswitches feel great (MX RED) although I'm disappointed to see Corsair use membrane with them too (Yuck). Brushed aluminum looks sick with my computer beside it and M60 utilizing the built in USB hub, braided black wire makes it even better. One thing for sure is the angled textured 1-6 WASD keys do make a difference. Not a loud keyboard.Would recommend but would only give 4 stars since it uses membrane too, ruined the 5 for me.

Cons: -keys are poorly laser etched (if at all), will definitely rub off sooner or later-not all keys are Cherries, but more on that below

Pros: -Cherry MX Reds (linear travel, no tactile bump)-aluminum body means it will be very easy to clean-"borderless" key tray makes cleaning realy, really easy (as the above point)-USB passthrough is handy-media keys are handy
Comment:
This keyboard is a treat for touch typists. I didn't buy this for gaming, though that is what it is intended for. Mechanical keyboards are unnecessarily overpriced since they've become a fad more than a tool, and so to find a good, well priced mechanical keyboard is more chore than choice. In the end I went with this K60 and I'm very happy. I would have preferred that all the keys are mechanical (the Function keys are still traditional rubber dome) as I use the F-keys in many applications, but I'm sure it would have driven the price up even more. As for not having backlighting, I don't mind as I don't even use the LED backlighting of my two gaming keyboards at home. The media keys are handy, and having used the volume "wheel", I kind of wish that all keyboards with media buttons would use a wheel like this instead of dedicated up/down buttons.Otherwise, this keyboard is really quite good, even if it is a bit plain for some people's likes.None of my listed Cons are enough to dock any stars from this keyboard. Frankly speaking, having a keyboard that can actually keep up with my typing and also not breaking on me every couple years (I literally go through a new keyboard every couple years due to physical wear and tear of the rubber domes) is more than enough. But to throw in the light and linear feel of the MX Reds just sweetens the deal.Had the Function keys also been mechanical and the price lower, I would have given this 6/5.

Pros: Feel, build quality

Just switched to this keyboard from a second-gen G15, and the difference in feel is amazing. I haven't had the opportunity to game-test it properly, but the difference in feeling in day-to-day use is phenomenal. It is difficult to express the difference without actually using the keys, but you can tell that you would never go back each time you use the function keys or home/insert  group, which are the traditional rubber dome type.

Switched from a 1st gen G15 keyboard and the difference in feel is definitely amazing. I barely have to press on the keys and the letters pop up :-)At first, it felt cheaper but the more I've used it, the more I've realized how robust this keyboard actually is.

Cons: -Not all keys are mechanical, as one who often use the delete/pg up/pg down and the function keys. This is very annoying

Pros: -Price when on sale-Media keys are convenient
Comment:
As mentioned in the cons section. The domed keys in this keyboard are very bad... worse than the 30 dollars microsoft keyboard's keys. The mechanical keys are fantastic, but since I rely on the non-mechanical keys often, this is an annoyance. Will probably upgrade very soon.

Cons: Wrist support takes a bit of getting used toNot all of the keys have Cherry MX switches (though they're ones I don't commonly use)

Pros: Excellent build qualityVery responsive keysNon-enclosed keys & brushed aluminum back plate make it extremely easy to clean
Comment:
Overall everything you could ask for in a keyboard that will be used for FPS gaming. I went from a Logitech G15 (first edition), to a Steelseries 7G, and then to my current keyboard (the K60.) and I couldn't be happier. It took a bit of time to get used to the wrist support at first but after a few days I have no doubt that my in-game performance benefited hugely. (and I can honestly say the wrist rest has become much more comfortable after a good amount of use.) The textured keys provide a great reference point while gaming & the Cherry MX switches really allow you to hammer your movements down to muscle memory. I especially loved the raised, non-enclosed keys which make cleaning gunk out amazingly easy. There's not much else to say other than Corsair really hit the ball out of the park with this one.
