Excellent hub, merely becasue you can turn on/off every thing connected to it, rather than unplugging unnessecary USB devices. It does operate well and is compact and priced pretty. It is NOT a powered USB hub as the listing says it is. If you have, for instance, an external hdd plugged into it that requires that energy to run it will not. The hub not becoming powered didn't bother me so I only took 1 egg off, given that I just plugged my wireless adapter and mouse into the hub and my external hdd into my laptop. But if you want a powered hub appear elsewhere. |

Does what it is supposed to, USB Powered hub with 4 further two. hubs.Value is excellent.Every single port has an on/off switch as effectively with LED to indicate. LEDs are not vibrant (a pro for me, I dont want a lot of bright lights illuminating my entire room at evening, the HD activity LED on my Antec case is vibrant sufficient as it is.) The cord is really short, about 4 inches at most, but it hangs nicely behind my desk and I dont notice it any far more. I applied this to be capable to attach my iPod touch, my microsoft wireless controller adapter and digital camera usb hookups to my Computer with out having to use the front chassis ports, and it does the job extremely properly. And at this price tag I cant fault it at all. |

Does specifically what it says it does. I've had it for just about a year now and it has yet to fail on me. Affordable for what you're receiving, and really reliable. The on/off switches are just added gravy. I hate the packaging it came in. That nasty tough plastic that loves to be a discomfort in the rear. The cord could be a bit longer, but that's seriously a non-concern. The length performs properly for me and my laptop, but if you had been using this with a desktop, I could see how that may well develop into a dilemma |

i love the on/off switches,excellent for my three external drives that dont have an on/off switch on them,fantastic hub! none the cord is quick,but it performs perfect for my lap top,and i dont know why the other men and women are saying the slots are close with each other,i have 3 drives and and thumb in it and all have plenty of space left over involving. |

Performs Excellent, modest, appears nice, and gets the job done. The switches for each and every USB port are a bit corny. I purchased two of these. They appear a lot much better than I had expected them to. They have a five little lights, a red a single indicating it has energy, and 4 blue ones for each port indicating no matter if it is turned on or not. There's tiny switches for every port, which appears fairly pointless and stupid.It's inexpensive and functions okay, I would but it once again. |

Performs perfectly, and I like the small switches that turn ports on and off. The ports are as close collectively as they can possibly be, so if you have a non-standard USB device (a big USB flash drive, for example) you may well not be able to use all 4 ports. |

Performs fantastic! Uncomplicated to use, xp, vista, and windows 7 had no complications finding it (ofcourse). Good lights to indicate regardless of whether a port is activated or not. None so far. Ya, the switches on the back are a little corny, but it's definitely nothing to complain about. They operate wonderful for me, simply because i have cats who tend to jump on my desk and knock my mouse around, taking my computer out of hibernation in the middle of the night. But now, as an alternative of unplugging my mouse, all I have to do is flick a small switch, and viola, mouse disabled.It's cord is type of brief, so I find it's finest utilised with a good usb extension cable, since I use mine for my mouse and keyboard, and I sit a good 10 ft. away from my monitor (which is actually a 42" television). But for just adding further usb ports for jump drives, printers, or what ever, this functions excellent! |

I had run out of USB two. ports on my Computer even although I have six on the back I/O panel and three on the front panel. I didn't want to begin hanging additional devices off the front panel. I wanted to preserve these open for on-the-fly thumb drives and mp3 player uploads. This was the only hub I found that had the on/off power switches built in with no need to have for external power and yet another wall wart. Extremely good. 1 thing I identified, and this isn't a knock on the hub, is by moving USB devices around on the ports I had to reinstall several drivers again for a USB thumb sound card and, for some cause, my IEEE 1394 Firewire port which I hadn't touched. No big deal because this would possibly occur whenever you move USB devices around and wasn't a fault of attaching the hub. You have no need to look about any longer. My cat knocked my laptop on the floor, destroying 1 of my two usb ports. This hub is a life saver. I can now plug in my mouse and three flash drives (something I couldn't do ahead of). Switches on the back turn each and every port on and off, individually. The price was good too. None so far. The five inch long cord offers me just enough area to attach it to the side of my laptop with velcro tabs that I had on hand. |

Small, simple to carry around with my laptop, and convenient to have. None so far. Right after looking at the other reviews I decided to give this one a attempt. Got it, hooked it up, and was in a position to use it instantly, which is specifically what I was searching for. I in fact like the small on/off switches- allows me to temporarily turn off devices not becoming used in order to reserve power. small, good neat little hub, cool red on light and blue port lights Mine has a short in the cord straight out of the package, and not genuinely worth the hassle to return it for a replacement getting its low price. (you have to put a tight kink in the cord for it to operate. If an individual sent me an additional 1, and it worked with out getting a short in the cord, I would probably give it 4 or five stars! looks very good, superior size, intriguing port energy switches following a couple of weeks it ended up finding finicky. if you move it about or hit it, whatever is connected appears to shed connection for a second, and the pc notifies that it's disconnected then reconnected. its not worth my time to return it actually, and it pretty substantially constantly functions. i just cant rely on it for storage devices. Compact design and style, low cost, USB two. support. I utilized this at the end of a 25 foot active USB extension cable to run an optical mouse and a wireless keyboard. I was concerned that there would not be sufficient energy to run the active extension cable and the two devices, but it worked just fine. Not a powered hub. Could not run some higher-demand devices. You can't seriously get a powered hub for this inexpensive. The cable is truly short, which worked for me, but if you need additional than 3" length on a cable, you're going to require an extension.
