They come with a pci panel to turn off/on if you get tired of them. The velcro is alright but I will address the problem in cons. They perform. These are genuinely not red at all and that's why this item disappoints me. I didn't acquire this at newegg but alternatively at Fry's, and following comparing upcs/model # and packaging, am one hundred% specific I purchased the same thing. The hue of these tubes are so vibrant that they're orange and at times appear even yellow. They seriously messed up when they made these. Look someplace else for red cathode as these definitely are not red. Also the black tape on the other side of the velcro wears off truly simply.

Very red, not orange, not pink, R E D. Makes my case look nice, and if you're going for an ATI/AMD theme this is your cathode light, look no further. I've got this paired with 2x120mm red LED fans, and 4x80mm Red LED fans, case is just exploding in red. Has a female molex connector, and my Silverstone Zeus unfortunately did not have any male connectors so I had to tap into 1 of my fans to get it powered. Other than that, this product is fantastic. If you're going for a red case theme/mod this is a have to.

Appears quite good. Vibrant. Not red, orange, but in knew that when i bought them. They get a small warm, but not hot at all. I purchased them for my nephew to place in his box that has a side window.

Easy to install. Cables are of a fairly decent length. Installed in a full size case, and a tiny additional length wouldn't hurt. Nice deep red. The PCI switch doesn't takeup also a lot area either, incredibly minimal design and style. None.

Vibrant and economical. The outside switch on the PCI slot is quite convenient. And as always, newegg got it to me in just two days instead of three. A satisfied client once more. Kind of a discomfort to install in my Thermaltake Soprano, but i got it eventually. The light is orange. Doesn't even look red orange to me, just orange. But I wanted an orange light to commence with, so I'm happy.

Nice and bright. A little flexibility in the wiring would be good. Would have loved to have mounted the switch for this in a PCI slot as its designed but the wiring isn't long adequate to reach the power supply's cable and I don't want the ugly infant blue box hanging out in the middle of my case. Rather I had to take away the switch from the plate and hide it discretely. Operates well, would like to see a additional intelligent design and style although.

I have my light nested vertically at the rear of the case (on the inside of course), with the energy cable facing the bottom. With this orientation, the other end fits snug against the 120mm exhaust fan. I almost didn't need the velcro pads, but used them anyway to avoid the light from getting the opportunity to pop cost-free of this snug fit. And getting that they are black as well, they blend in with the black interior of the HAF-X. No Cons! Just a lot more Pros!A different plus with the HAF-X case is that it comes with a shroud to put over the cables of your power provide, to make it appear much less cluttered inside. Considering that most of the power cables are routed by the back in mine, I just place the blue energy block under that, and WOOT! No mismatched color scheme! :D Some of the evaluations for this item have stated that the Cathode lights up an 'Orange-ish/Red' color. The color is definitely red, I'm not seeing the orangey tint that people are complaining about. They give my case a sort of menacing glow, which is specifically what I was going for. The cables are surely quite brief. Only about 8". It wasn't a challenge, but I imagine it could be for a incredibly massive case, or a really cluttered one particular.

very easy installation. bright red light, on off switch, can connect two to the same box in the computer. the wires could be longer. i identified them to be truly tight in my case due to lack of wire length. in the end it worked out ok. not qa deal breaker at all they are so inexpensive, and the intensity of the red light is a huge wow element. i sent up a pic to twitter and everybody could not cease speaking about the awesome red lights.

Difficult to come across an orange Cold Cathode It's labled and sold as a red Cold Cathode Necessary some orange lighting for my case but was getting a difficult time acquiring something in orange. Read some testimonials complaining that this light was orange not red so I went with it. It is the excellent orange with a slight touch of red for my case.

The light is fairly vivid and is easy to set up. I wouldn't say that it is fully orange and could even pass for red if a person just tends to make a speedy glance at it but I would say that it is closer to orange than red.
