$/page is low. Speed is okay. Color is decent Glossy laser paper poses a issue. If you plan on printing flyers or promoting in any sort of quantity appear else exactly where. When printing with HP glossy laser paper pages get stuck with each other generally. You get what you pay for. For the dollars it's okay. Would under no circumstances advocate to a client.

Excellent price. 贄 is a bargain in any person book. Fair excellent prints. Printer stinks (literally). There is a sturdy odor of hot plastic / bakelite. When I very first used it, I in fact saw smoke coming out of the printer with the printed page. Hopefully, this will all go away with age. Beware bargains. They normally come with a cost!

Great prints, tiny size, reasonably priced Unreliable! On my 2nd 1, 1st a single had to be repaired twice. Don't print far more than 20 pages at a time, it WILL die! Fuser overheats, damages sensors, or just burns out. Not speedy, my Epson inkjet can keep up with it, even immediately after giving the Samsung a head start off to warm up. But at this cost and size I wouldn't count on it to be.

Good searching prints, am so glad I finally have a laser printer at residence...footprint isn't terrible, nice solid black color, a heck of a deal for the price tag! has a bit of a smell when it prints, I don't print a entire lot so I don't know if that will go away or not, but it wouldn't deter me from suggesting 1.

Printer is economical, operating in economical for a color laser. Machine has not jammed when. Delivers fantastic color rendition. Quite straightforward to set up since iot is USB. Initially print of the day is a tad bit slow. Just a tiny noisey. Printer is a wonderful 1st endeavor for those wanting a colour laser. It's a great cost with very goold prints. This is a great alternative to having dried up ink cartridges.

Dependable as all get out, mostly install automagically below Windows 7. None. No more inkjet computer software bloat, just a good printer. For these whose get DOA solution by means of newegg, did you know you could call them (toll free of charge) and ask for a return shipping label? They e-mail it to you inside ten minutes. No charge. Tsk, tsk, some insist on studying the high-priced way.

I paid 贘 shipped. Its modest and reasonably quiet. Appears good. Good quality even for images though it is clearly not a photo printer. Slow printing, not automatically sensing black and white only documents. Tiny toners though larger ones would make printer larger. Colour mode is quite slow and usually triggered if you do not keep in mind to set monochrome before printing. If you are printing in black and white mode be Confident to use monochrome mode in the choices, it tends to make the printer 4x more quickly! The printer will not automatically print using mono mode on an entirly mono document unless you explicitly set it to do so.

Cost-effective, quite modest footprint, made superb prints. Had no problems at all with paper jams for the brief time it was operational. cheaply created junk, don't print additional than a couple of pages at a time if you don't want to kill it. Died soon after printing a total of 60 or so pages in it's entire life, barely over a month in service. Died in the midst of a 50-page print job. Red light, message in the handle panel software is merely "System Error: Cycle Energy". Turning it off and on once more did practically nothing. Attempting to get it serviced.

Modest footprint. Low noise. Higher good quality print. Great speed. This printer can satisfy most demands for a residence user. It is a laser printer which implies you can print a lot. Nevertheless, color laser printers are not created to replace photo printers! They are exceptional for color forms, letters, calendars and drawings. Top quality of printing for colour photographs on a great top quality photo paper is just OK. Extremely expensive ink (though you'll will need new ink only soon after printing thousands of pages). No manual feed (printer has only a 250 page tray. That's all). No straight feed for thicker materil. Overall, contemplating the price this is an outstanding selection. It is in the very same price range of B&W laser printers so you really should contemplate what you need or like greater: colour prints or functions like manual feed or a straight pathway.

1. Cost. 2. Print high quality.3. Toner, not ink4. Size.Absolutely performes as xpected for the features and price tag. I purchased it for the print quality, total cost of ownership. Not for 30+ ppm color, 100K+ rated volume, or smell. None...Genuinely, and I'm modestly essential. Our requirements: Residence use, three youngsters with nightly homework, a wife, and grandparents. Use-instances cluster around homework, mainly black-and white, no true correct-color needs (we have a different printer for that). No 100k+ monthly volume, and duplex when in a blue moon. I was sick of running via ink which (no-pun intended) usually seemed to run!I'm incredibly pleased with the print high quality and overall performance. Precisely what I had expected/hoped for. Yes, there can be an initial warm-up period, but we element that in, and it's not an concern. Patience, Grasshopper.I did set up two instances of the driver - one particular with black white settings and the other with colour (and named them appropriately) - to force mostly b/w printing for the NOVICE users in the residence (the BW instance is the default for all users). Cuts down on color use and IT helpdesk (ME) interruptions.

Genuinely impressed with its print top quality for its value!! I know inkjets top quality is better but its ink dry up right after a while and the ink discolors as it ages. On prime of that you are wasting ink everytime you retain it. No dilemma with lasers like this! It says four ppm but it really spools rapidly, you hardly have to wait just before it starts printing following waking up from sleep mode. Driver set up is actually smooth. Quite modest and saves space. Perfect for students and property office applications that does not call for high output. Have weird smell when printing, but it has a note saying the odor is harmless so I guess I can trust them on that. Cartridges cost more than the printer itself but that's the exact same circumstance for each and every laser out there. Also terrible this is not a 3 in 1, but for the value I am prepared to plug in a scanner on the side. It makes use of toners a lot more rapidly than what I expect laser to be...but still way better than inkjets. I am hoping it stays wholesome, as opposed to what other reviews mentioned. I've also heard of Samsung's poor client service for RMA, so hopefully I don't have to go by way of that within a year.

Good image quality and quick printing.I mainly use it for lecture note printing, and I'm actually happy with it.If you use thicker papers, you will notice a large distinction in picture quality. Don't use those low-cost regular laser printer papers if you want a superior high quality image. Uses up a lot of electricity as other laser printers do.

Clear, crisp text, colors print vibrant. Quite straightforward to set up. Tiny footprint. When it initially begins up there is a slight odor but practically nothing offensive. Does not come with a USB cable. I had to unplug my inkjet in order to use this laser. Will require to purchase an additional cable. The User Manual is on the CD, which isn't truly a "con" but at very first I thought Samsung forgot to pack a manual in the box! This printer for the price is ideal for a household office or someone who doesn't do a large volume of printing. I bought it to print on card stock, like name badges, table tents, and small business cards but I did print a black and white page on plain paper and the text was substantially a lot more crisp and clear than my inkjet. I am really happy with this printer.

Its my 2nd Samsung printer, one particular is at the office (ML) and the color printer is for my residence. I hooked it up without any configuration and the printer was identified by Windows and works great on Ubuntu. Really great image excellent for the price! and the toners won't break your wallet if you shop about like me :)) it's a excellent expense/effectiveness printer... no cons so far, incredibly pleased with the item.... All round, I am really pleased with this machine for that cost you cant go wrong.

Got this printer on sale--Newegg had a wonderful deal--and couldn't ask for additional. Arrived quickly and in excellent shape--specific thanks Newegg and UPS!Color laser for significantly less than 赨, I'd have ended up paying as considerably to replace my old inkjet. This is a quite quiet printer, compared to my old LJ (may it rest in peace). Color output is very excellent, absolutely sufficient for common use, which is all I require. Text is sharp and clear. No troubles at all printing across the network. Printer cartridges are a mite expensive, no generic alternative. Colour printing tends to be slow, compared to inkjet printers. There was a smell when I first fired it up, went away quickly and hasn't occurred since.

Inexpensive, uncomplicated setup, and pretty small for a laser printer. Performs fine so far Mine did not come with any sort of cable to connect it to my computer with, just a power cable. Luckily I had a spare USB cable around from a monitor, but seriously, for this price (and Samsung's MSRP is 赨), can they truly not incorporate a ũ cable so I could essentially use it devoid of needing something extra? I feel that's pretty ridiculous.

Totally free shipping, excellent price tag, been employing all weekend with no issues. Fairly significantly plug & play. I love it. Toner seems a small pricey - use draft mode if feasible. Got this with a cost-free, spare black toner "one day only" special. Most likely won't want it for 6 months or so.

Inexpensive start off upInk affordable expense compared to rest of market (though there are more affordable out there) Imaging unit goes bad within many months which fees the identical as the printer. Premature ink depletion notification We have utilized this printer for standard printing, and have identified that the imaging unit goes bad Incredibly Promptly top to a big investment (财) every single couple months. If you add this up, you are far better off purchasing a new 315 unit every few months all issues regarded as, proper? What a rip off. This is not a defect either, we have bought numerous of these printers in the final year with the noted method and each and every single 1 of the imaging units go poor within numerous months... UNBELIEVABLE!YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

Low cost, Fantastic colour printouts! No ink to dry out when not utilized for a although. Straightforward setup. Can't beat it for the value. Slow initially print out. Toner replacement is prohibitively high priced - just obtain yet another printer when the toner runs out. Exact same point for out of warranty repairs. This unit is low cost adequate and the print good quality very good enough that the cons shouldn't even be regarded.
