Cons: did require service, which was handled quickly and professionally. Hard to find wifi and ethernet compatible models.

I don't print a whole lot, but this was on sale when I bought it. I don't really have any other printers to compare it to, but I'm happy with it and wouldn't have problems recommending it.But I had an issue that I feel I should point out.When I first got the printer, I installed the software and drivers that came on the disc. I had problems with it on Windows 7. I had to go to the website to get the latest driver/software package for it to work properly.I guess that should be pretty standard practice. But I would've expected it to work out of the box with the software on disc. |

Great fonction, but incluse useless one like, identity card print.This is really easy to replace tonner with oem one, much cheaper than original from samsungSmall foot print fit well on the desktop. Make a great job for copy and print. |

Very easy installation/operation for this printer. Lots of different settings/functions like most other printers. Has a very stylish look to it. Also has a french faceplate to replace english if necessary. Has most functions that is needed for a home printer.Printing quality/speed is very good. Cannot comment on photo printing (have yet to do so). Very satisfied with the quality of the output and the look of the product itselfWas surprised at how heavy the box was. Box had two standard box grip holes and when reaching for the car keys I released one of the two grip holes, which led to the other side of the box handle to rip due to the weight of the product. Was even more surprised at how huge the printer was out of the box. Needed to reorganize to accommodate for it's large size. The paper tray needs some adjustments depending on the type of paper being fed into it. In the picture, it's a little misleading. They show the paper tray at the bottom to only obtrude slightly, when in fact if used for the standard paper size, the paper tray must be adjusted to a larger size and as a result it obtrudes farther than expected/shown on the picture. |
I've had this since February. Out of the box, it had some trouble feeding multiple sheets and would jam frequently. Eventually I got tired of this and called Samsung for service. They send me a shipping label, repaired it and paid for return post. It's perfect since then. Biggest surprise is that it prints photos very well. I didn't think there were any inexpensive colour laser printers that could, but I've bought some laser photo paper and it's brilliant. Better than an inkjet on plain paper because the toner doesn't bleed, too. The apparent successor to this model, the CLX3305, unfortunately has less memory, lower resolution scanning and lower-yield "starter" toner included. Otherwise it seems to be built around the same print engine and should work similarly well for home and small-business use.
