I wasn't quite sure if this would be overkill. But I have no regrets in buying this. I know I have plenty of overhead. I have no doubts that this PSU will serve me until the other parts of this machine are long gone.I do wish Corsair made a 1000W version of this. That would probably have suited me a bit better.I would definitely recommend this PSU to anyone building a high-end system. |

Solid power supply. A bit larger than a normal supply, but what 1200 watt supply isn't? Fully modular with flat cables (for the molex and SATA). Only downside is that it doesn't cable manage your case for you. |

Just don't ever buy this power supply. You will just get a PSU with endless high buzzing sound. Sounds like when my neighbor runs the vacum cleaner. NCIX is a really good retailer. I exchanged 3 of the buzzing unit with no sweat. But all of them make the anoying sound. So I shipped the unit to Corsair. What I got is a PSU still making this sound. I feel so regretfull for buying this PSU. I'd rather buying a Thermaltake or Antec than the AX 1200 |

Some poor reviews, and I will be editing this in a week or two when I can get the time to set the system up and see how loud the Cap's/ Choke's and Fan could be.
Pros: Nice well packaged PSU, All Cables included. MIR as well as a nice ASPM. Comment:
Needed more power, and Fully modular incase of RMA. Has all cables I need, and then some. Should be more then enough power to run all I want to. |

This is the best power supply I have ever bought. It is super quiet, has a lot of power, and the accessories that comne with it are top notch.For those complaining of a buzzing sound...Know that this is the capacitors, and that after some use, it will disappear. In my case, it took only a week and a half. |

This is a nice PSU, but there is a annoying buzzing sound when booting. I will try the C1E disable thing and see if it changes something. For now I'll leave it a 3 stars will see if the sound goes away. |

This PSU has tons of power for Tri-SLI. A lot of modular option cables, even the 24PIN is a modular cable. PSU is a little on the noisy side when C1E kicked in. OCing the system, you should have C1E disabled anyways. Once C1E in the bios was disabled, the whine went down to almost non-audible. |

Just put this in my new rig and everything worked fine. The cpu cable was a little short, but I'm using a huge case.The sleeving was well done. No complaints, just need another gpu to start stressing it.
