Higher efficiency and lots of power My most significant complaint is the insane amount of noise it makes. I purchased all elements that had been advertised as "silent" or at least "quiet". For the most portion, they all are, except this thing. To give you an thought of how loud it is, I have to close my new "silent" personal computer in my closet in order to sleep with it operating in the exact same room, and I can still hear it! If it were any louder I wouldn't even e capable to sleep with it in the closet. I am not joking. The other issue has been talked about before is that this unit was developed to be at the top rated of the case. Not only are the eight-pin CPU power cables and ATX motherboard energy cables also short, but the SATA and four-pin Molex energy connectors angled wrong. It is hard to explain the problem. The connectors are attached to the cables such that the cables should commence at the prime and then move down in order to attach many drives to the exact same cable. Although this would be excellent for a setup with the PSU at the best, it doesn't function well for me. There also aren't sufficient PCI-e energy cables for a SLi SR-two setup. Sure, you can get by with some of those adapters, but that isn't quite sophisticated. It doesn't genuinely bother me, but the finish on the unit isn't incredibly higher high quality. The case for the additional cables isn't quite good either, but then once again, it isn't a really major deal. The items I listed in the Cons section are my primary gripes. If you don't thoughts the noise and have a classic top rated mounted PSU setup I am confident this unit would be good.Corsair truly disappointed me on this 1. I need to have purchased the HCP. The PSUs from that firm that I have had just before had been a lot far better than this point.

Was really effortless to install with the modular set up. Wired it all up, Turned on my comp and let the smoke out the PSU. Hooked my tx 750 back up and it posted just fine.TBH is a shame to get a PSU unit with a Q/C sticker passed on it DOA. I'm hoping it was just a fluke. Neweggs RMA course of action is second to none. Fast, Rapid and friendly. I actually felt taken care of even though i just dropped 3 bill on a terrible psu

1. Will energy anything you connect it to with no problems.2. Very quiet operation. I was shocked by the evaluations claiming this PSU is noisy. Possibly they got defective units?three. Absolutely modular with LOTS of cables to pick from and a handy container to retailer all these cables. none. 1.This point is a beast literally, so make certain to verify the measures and have sufficient clearance before you get it.two. This PSU comes inside it's personal cloth bag. It's a tiny more than the leading, but incredibly cool. And the bag is really handy for storing stuff.

The energy supply has a 7 year warranty and even a bag for all the cables and stuff for it. It comes packed superior than I have ever noticed a energy provide packed. It has a extremely rather fan, compared to many out there, even on higher. It's black exterior is incredibly good for situations with windows and the marked plug-ins for the power cables are a dream. Strategy how you are going to run your cables ahead of hooking any of them up. Other than that almost everything is great. I like the way the cables snap and lock into location and of how each and every is encased and shielded. I have it in a Lian-li Dragon case and it fitting completely. It would not have fit in my old case though so measuring your case is essential.

Well as opposed to most in right here, i connected some thing to it to attempt it before i installed it,a fan and some thing else, (that's the secret) to test it, for peace of mind, and as usual Corsair came through once again, THANKS it's sad to come in the overview section, to get feed back, and u have folks respond to a thing they don't have a clue about what they bought This thing is as quiet as a mouse, all voltages tested out to what they mentioned, just hook up two diverse cable'''s to test, alway's test just before installing, don't alway's assume(u know what that means) Corsair did something incorrect, i caught the UPS man throwing one particular of my packages(a spinner really hard drive) from about 10ft from my porch, up on the porch, so don't generally assume the worst when u get something D-O-A !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-1.two kilowatts of energy. (Bragging? You bet!)-Single 12v rail delivering one hundred.4 Amps.-80plus Gold certified and rated at 90% efficiency.-Voltage compensation for drops or spikes in voltage brought on by inadequate/junk electrical wiring jobs.-100% modular flat cabling.-Tons of cables. Even incorporates 5 PCI-E cables for you crazies out there who want four GPU's.-NO FLOPPY CONNECTORS! (Molex to floppy adapters included, although. Good!)-Solidly constructed with a weighty heft.-Two EPS12V Ƙ-pin) power cables. Can energy high-end, multi-CPU servers with no challenge.-Packaged with self-confidence! It came in a felt bag like some kind of fine whiskey for cryin' out loud! Nice box. Makes you really feel like you're holding something worth the cost tag!-A cool, aluminum Corsair logo plate for your case.If you want a lengthy-term PSU remedy that will final you several high-finish builds, look no further.Welcome to the next level. Not a massive deal but...they Truly could have included a couple of cables with single molex/sata connectors on them... There is already a ridiculous number of multi-connector cables as it is.Otherwise, I have pondered that a single cable with 2, 3 or even four PCI-E connectors evenly spaced out for multiple graphics cards would be a boon. This is a single-rail PSU with a lot of amperage on it, immediately after all. A single cable with thick adequate gauge wire must be able to deal with that type of present with a PSU like this 1.What say you, Corsair? If you want the very best, THIS IS IT. Be clever, ignore the value tag and bite the bullet. If you're just constructing a personal computer for property use or for your mom to get around the web looking up recipes and forwarding junk emails to your inbox in an inadvertent work to annoy you... "This is not the power provide you're hunting for." (LOL!)If you'd like far more details on this power provide, verify out the excellently detailed review I found. Google "ax1200 pureoverclock review" and click the second hyperlink. (Has "id򕗜" in the URL.) This evaluation will give you lots of photographs. They even did a tear-down and show the extremely well-believed-out, higher-good quality develop on the inside of the unit.I have practically nothing but sheer self-confidence in this energy supply.

Just about as substantially energy as one could ever want. Fantastic presentation, nice cse for additional cables. Every thing more than extended adequate in Xaser VI full tower. This is the powerplant for my new I7 970 make. I have it at 4.0ghz on air and plan to go water. This PSU keeps my voltage as steady as doable. I believe it is a fantastic investment, 7 year warranty sli and crossfire with no blinking. For hardcore OC ers or just users that demand excellent clean energy, appear no additional. coil whine only noticable when program is off. Not a large deal for be I rarley have the pc turned off as I have numerous VM's operating. I have heard immediately after breaking it in the whine goes away not a significant concern. cant beat it, 7 year warranty and a firm like corsair to stand behind it.

Looks good, non-bulky versatile cables (good for routing). Color scheme nicely matches the Asus Sabertooth X58 MoBo.Nice size fan, but can't comment on noise level due to the fact it never spun up (DOA). DOA, sending back to NewEgg. Had to finish the system create so bought a Antech 1200 locally. Antech fired correct up and runs quiet. Antech 1200 cables are bulky compared to the Corsair 1200AX which tends to make routing behind MoBo tough.

I will in no way go back to anything else! Quite effecient with power usage. Draws only the power it demands at that distinct moment. I do NOT hear any humming noise, its truly very quiet, even though I have a bottom mount complete tower. Adore the modular cables, tons of them also, nice storage pouch. Lighter than I very first expected so would be fine in lighter weight situations. Loved the velvet cover the power supply came in. Good Touch. Nice warrenty as well. Corsair has succeeded in constructing a top notch superior PSU. it is a tiny longer, so check your measurments of your case. Its not like the description didn't provide measurements. I had no difficulty as the help rails in my Corsair case 800D have been more than extended sufficient and the case had area to spare. Might be an concern for mid towers. If your into energy and study just about every element that goes into building a computer system. I'd hugely recommend looking at tech evaluations on this PSU.

Very quiet, single rail, effortless to setup, a lot of cords, no difficulties so far. None. Great energy supply. I was worried cuz I study a couple of undesirable testimonials on right here, but overall it had a quite high rating. This is supposed to be 1 of the ideal energy supplies you can get. Typically I only acquire from Computer Energy and Cooling, but I didn't have the cash this time, and I am upgrading to two gtx 480's in sli, so I'm glad I don't have to compromise.

Good power supply. Running a Quad SLI with 8 challenging drives and two CPUs needed this beast. And I'm glad I got it. I've stuck with Corsair for years now and they are the finest when it comes to consumer care and their merchandise are properly made and meant to last. This is my 4th power supply from them and all have been top top quality. Bottom line it is worth the further dollars as you'll not have to replace your PSU for a lengthy time. A lot longer than a typical PSU. Make sure you are careful about your case measurements. This fit ideal in a HAF 932. Covers the bottom vent even though. Also the modular cables are a discomfort to snap into the unit when its currently mounted. Great just good.

purchased this to replace a BFG EX-1200 I was having some problems with. It didn't seem up to carrying a heavy OC 4.41GHz i7, two GTX480s SLI at 880MHz each and every and two water loops. Would sometimes brown out at anxiety testing/gaming. Not so with the AX1200! The efficiency of this is thru the roof as advertised also. I hooked the Kill-a-Watt to wall and only ran my Computer on the complete 15amp circuit. Power requirement for machine on EVGA OC Scanner maxed out in 5 mins at 950W, was pulling 1050W from wall, 90.four%! virtually 10% superior than my old BFG. and zero brownouts, hiccups, no difficulties. this point is great. Cabling was much more than lengthy enough, I have a massive Silverstone Raven case and there wasn't even remotely a distance problem on any cable. As noted by other people, this is a bigger than regular ATX PSU but it fits effortlessly in bottom of most of these days's custom circumstances with area to spare. i can't believe of any. 90+ percent efficient at massive loads, 1200 watts of power obtainable (and then some for peak usage), you truly can't go wrong with this PSU at the 1200W variety (or any level frankly). Runs quiet even at loads approaching 1000W (i can't hear it over my seven silent Noctua NF-P12 fans on radiators and that's the only noise my technique tends to make).Be confident you genuinely require this significantly energy would be my only believed. Even benchmarking on one thing like EVGA OC Scanner I am pulling a max of 1100W from the wall, which is about 980W for the Pc at that level. and that is with power hungry GTX480s OCd and overvolted, ditto the i7-920 above, two water loops, etc. unless you're working with tri-SLI, this PSU is the first and last one particular you'll ever want.

Used to use nothing at all but Computer Power & Cooling PSU's and in no way had any complaints but these are tremendous. The modular plugs and packaging are 1st class. Utilised with a loaded EVGA SR-2 Classified MoBo and nevertheless had cables to spare. Gold Certified is the way to go if you value your components. Possibly keep the cable bag and simplify the packaging to knock a few bucks off of the price but otherwise none. Definitely a huge step up from PSU's of just a year ago. Pricey but worth it.

High quality power supply at reasonable value! Modular cable program so much less clutter inside the technique with no cables that you don't use. Appears to be a small bit quieter than my previous Pc Power & Cooling 880W PSU. None but I had to shave the indentation on ATX12 8-Pin connector head mainly because it won't go in with indentation due to heatsink subsequent to eight-pin ATX 12V energy connector on my EVGA motherboard. I didn't have this issue with my Computer Power and Cooling PSU that this PSU replaced. I was amazed by the way Corsair packaged this energy provide. They packaged it actually properly with small bag for power provide and cables for modular cables come in separate nice velcro locking vinyl black bag. Like Apple package their iPhones. Each packaging and energy provide itself is higher quality! I am very content with this obtain! I feel this may possibly have been the very best power provide I have purchased!
