Cons: Not modular, but not a big deal

Pros: Works well, very quiet!
Comment:
Great PSU, very quiet, looks nice, solid cords and 3 yr warranty is always a plus. Got it for $60, grab it on sale/when MIRs are available! This review was modfied by poster @ 08-05-12 12:14 AM

Cons: No modular cable system

Pros: Quiet, Affordable, Useful
Comment:
For it's price point, and lacking a modular cable system, this PSU is actually pretty good. Compared to other 'cheap' PSUs, Corsair's offering manages to be very quiet and quite effective for single GPU systems. I'm using it an an HTPC and this is the second PSU of this model that I've purchased.

Cons: All of the ports of one type (molex, SATA) are grouped together on their own cables, so your parts have to be close by each other.

Pros: Sheathed Cables!! This power supply has exactly enough ports to support what its wattage can dish out. Its efficient, cost effective, and really quiet
Comment:
I loved the sheathing on the cables, and how it was very strong. This is a very quiet PSU, and I would recommend it to anyone with a singe GPU gaming build (not quite enough muscle for two bigger GPU's I think)

Cons: if you move your system when its on and plugged in it may shutdown even if you just bump it

Pros: power is goods, price
Comment:
Its a great PSU for mid ranged computers and at $49.99 its was a steal. Almost a great product for me except mine will shut down if I move the case and the power cable moves just a bit in its socket.

Cons: 3 year warranty is a bit low for Corsair, but that's not much of a complaintnot modular

Pros: Reliable brandReasonably priced, overall solid PSUGood looks
Comment:
This is overall a great unit for your average gaming rig. It's easy to work with, the cabling is great. I'm used to modular PSUs however, so that's kind of a downside, but it's to be expected at this pricepoint. A well balanced piece of hardware, worth the extra bucks.

Good solid 600W power supply. Nothing to complain about. The price was right for $55... Would not be afraid to buy another in the future at that price.

Cons: not a seasonic or pc power/supply.

Pros: nice looking psu, 3yr warr, quiet.
Comment:
The ringing sound or whining others complain of here could be the result of interferance with wireless devices /or more likely a bad power bar, I always use a quality power bar with surge...I have heard this whinning result in other peoples systems with poor quality power bars or line sharing with plugs in which a motor/fridge/high current device, is also plugged in in the house.bought for my daughters build, its an ok psu, i usually use seasonic but moneys been tight so ...recently i had a problem of low 3.3v and low 12v on her system?...I thought this psu was at fault ,but a quick reseating of all the plugs in her system, especially yhe main atx plug resulted in the voltage returning to normal 3.3v and 12.1 v...whew , overall this psu is performing as it should. Cons: Wierd high pitched ringing

Pros: Great valueSingle railConnectors
Comment:
I thought that maybe I wouldn't get one with a high pitched ringing, however....When you flip the power switch on, you get this wierd high pitched ringing, even with the computer off. Also, you kind of get it while your comp is on. Although after a while it goes off, or until you load up a power heavy app or game.Wierd, although its bloody cheap. Also there alot of wires and while the lengths are suitable for pretty anything, they make the case messy looking. Whatever though right? Your mainly just sitting at home nerding out on your own comp hahah.

Great product by Corsair because it's great value. 600W of consistent power and 3 year warranty is decent. Looks great as it's a Corsair product. Too bad it's not modular though. This review was modfied by poster @ 09-29-11 11:44 PM

Cons: -High pitched ringing sound when the computer is off

Pros: +Solid PSU+Quiet fan+Corsair is a well-known and trusted brand
Comment:
A PSU is something that should not be cheaped out on. It is the heart of the computer, and supplies it with power. The last thing you want to do, is give your computer dirty, noisy, inconsistent power. When you go with Corsair, you can usually rest assured it will be a top quality product for your dollar. The high pitched ringing is the only reason it is not a 5-star product.

Cons: -Cables not modular.

Pros: -Cheap on sale after rebate $45-Runs stable with out any problem.-Quality of Corsair.-Sleeved cables.-Auto switching 110v-240v.-Cool and quiet.
Comment:
I got this for a budget build for $45 onsale after rebate. This is my second corsair PS. I've never had any problems that's why I stick with brand name PS. I'm running M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3, AMD 955BE 8GB, 500GB HD and stress tested and it's rock solid. It would be nice if it was semi-modular to keep the case neat, not a big deal. It's quiet and stable with out any issues. I would recommend this to any one looking for a quality PS at a decent price.

Pros: It worksGood for a budget build
Comment:
Use this with a budget gaming build. Corsair's a strong company, gaming focused. 600W seems plenty for my build, running 1 video card + the normal things you'll find in CPU. Lots of 4 molex to connect to. Cheap.

Pros: -Price vs Wattage-Noise levels-Quality-Warranty
Comment:
Picked this up in last week's awesome sale. I didn't even realize it was a V2 (with 3yr warranty rather than 2yr) until I got it. It may be a more solid product that the V1.Should work well for single-card systems. Like all Corsair PSUs, it's cool, quiet and efficient. The perfect backup power supply - I keep one around in case friends have any trouble with their OCZ or Coolermaster PSUs. (*shudders*)Although it claims to work with SLI, I don't think I'd actually attempt it.For what this PSU is for, I'd definitely buy it again. It's only a few dollars more expensive than quality 400w PSUs, so why not?

It's a good, solid PSU and it's good value when on sale. I got it for 55. 600 Watts is quite good for a budget gaming build. Too bad it isn't modular, cable management gets a big messy at the bottom.

Cons: Wattage is actually lower than rating specification.

Pros: Long cable for mid tower case.MTBF: 100,000 Hours ~ 11 years
Comment:
Wasn't too concerned about the wattage because it was for a budget desktop. Mean Time Between Failure is rated 100,000 hours roughly 11 years. Only time will tell. Would go with Corsair HX-series, ThermalTake Grand series for high end pc. This review was modfied by poster @ 06-05-11 08:57 PM

Bought this power supply for my new setup : AMD 965 black edition 125W quad-core OC to 3.9ghz with CM Hyper 212 + cooler, XFX ATI HD 5770,4gb DDR3 G.Skill 1600 mhz and have had no problem what so ever concerning the power. I think that Corsair is always building nice product. It's the first time I bought a power supply from them but still think it's a great value.
