Following working with a affordable and low top quality PSU that had my Pc reboot several times I've decided to devote the extra cash on a brand name. Performs as advertised, I am however to run into any problems with this PSU. Modular cables are wonderful if you're attempting to preserve the case clean seeking and full of air flow. They also include things like zipties in case you don't have any on you to help with the cable management.Corsair tends to amaze me with the good quality of their merchandise. I am going to upgrade my graphics card to a 560 Ti series and I strategy to overclock it a bit. Velvet bag is useless though a nice touch. My rig:i7 920 @ three.5ghz, EVGA GTX 260 SC, Corsair DDR3 3gb 1333mhz, CM 690 II Adv, WD FALS1001 1TB HDD.

7 Year Warranty!!!! Greatest in the organization. I own desktop and laptop corsair memory that has under no circumstances failed. Also, this point is cool to the touch when on. I had a computer power and cooling before that failed just immediately after the five year warranty that was constantly pretty warm. Like i mentioned it was older though.Single rail is the easiest and very best way to go. None so far Good to take out spare wires because its modular.Excellent packaging. The direction book was a little lacking but i figured it out.

Easy to set up, modular cables lower clutter substantially. Possibly overkill for my setup, but provides flexibility for adding another GPU to the machine later. Somewhat heavy, but sits on the bottom of my case (Antec 902), so no genuine concern there.

What a novel notion! These new modular design and style cable systems are created of win all around. The unit nicely built and it shows from the moment you choose it up and peek in at the hardware. They aren't afraid to have it open for viewing. The cables are fairly extended, and can attain all the way to the top of my complete tower case and still have space to snake about and behind the frame. Powers my method nicely. Haven't played with the voltage however, so I cant comment there. But almost everything so far has me claiming this as the nicest PSU I've ever owned. And on a final note, the unit is silent. I cant hear it, the case fans are a gentle hum, and they are the only thing I hear in the room. None Proper out of the box it was like opening an pricey bottle of alcohol. A velvet cover with organization logo, the packaging for the cables was a nice little Velcro pouch. Even the box was properly packaged and uncomplicated to open. In no way been excited about opening a package for a computer system aspect before. It was a nice touch.

This is replacing a single of the worst energy supplies I have ever owned so just about something would appear great at this point. That aside, this brick comes with almost everything you would need to power 12 sata devices, 4 IDE devices, 4 six-pin energy connectors for graphics, even four-pin floppy drive energy...long story brief I will under no circumstances be able to use all of these cables but the truth that the brick is modular means I can limit the quantity of cables to only what I need. Brick runs as smooth as the silk bag it came in, more than-sized 140mm fan is extremely quiet errrrrr..... effectively i'll just continue the pros: just before installation can be used for residence defense...quite heavy (guess that is some kind of con) Comes with velcro bag to store further modular cables plus an really thick external power cable.

Nice seeking power provide with a massive quantity of energy cables. Could not get the pc to boot correctly, Windows 7 would begin to load but would lock up. Soon after rebooting a couple of times I could get windows to load if I was fortunate but the challenge reoccurred once the personal computer was shutdown. Reinstalled the old energy provide that I was going to move to one more pc and every little thing worked. Would like to see totally free shipping if a item is defective inside 30 days of obtain date or a return place on the east coast.

This PS is the only way to go if you like the clean seeking install. With modular wiring you can plug-in precisely what you need with out alot of loose connectors hanging around. Though pricey I propose this to anyone creating their program. I have a full tower case with four HD's and two disc players, this PS didn't even notice the wattage becoming employed...just potent. Runs really quiet...I'd acquire it again, but hopefully I won't have to ;) None If you can afford it, get this PS, you won't regret it.

Quiet, a lot of efficient energy, modular, extended warranty. If the measure of good quality lies in the weight of the product, this PSU has some seriuos good quality compared to what I've utilised in the past! Impressive packaging...but... Pretty costly. Could have cared much less (and in all probability spent much less) for the velvet bag it came in & the additional bag for the further cables. Viewed as knocking off 1 egg for this, but didn't. A velvet/nylon bag - Genuinely? That stuff is going back into the box it came in & will sit in my closet unnoticed unless I uncover one more use for it. Even so, I do appreciate the believed of Corsair taking exquisite care in packaging their products and hope that exact same care translates into the quality workmanship of the actual power supply. Time will tell. We'll see...

Solid, higher-excellent power provide. 750w of this PSU is most likely worth 1000w from a lesser PSU.Lots of connectors, no opportunity of confusing the different kinds.Captive mobo connectors have a subtly iridescent wrap that tends to make a huge ugly bundle of wires appear quite cool.Packaging is impressive, not specifically necessary but a fantastic indication that Corsair is prepared to go the added mile. Manual is not accurate. Referred to 'captive PCIe connectors' when there are only modular PCIe connections. I just love it when the documentation tends to make me think that I was given the wrong product...Mobo connectors are nonetheless a bit stiff, practically nothing severe but you may possibly have to flex them a few instances to get them going in the right path. My mobo's EATX12V header ended up being as far as it could stretch. General, I'm pleased with the PSU and would advise Corsair high quality anytime...but this PSU didn't finish up becoming perfect for my case (Antec Skeleton) due to the fact of size and fan placement.Likewise, the modular notion wasn't the clear win that I anticipated, but I may well really feel differently if I had 4 or five unused connectors to stuff in my case.

Extremely quiet, modular is usually a plus. not truly a con mainly because i could operate around it,but the cables appear to be fairly stiff, it was alittle hard to function cables into the clips on my case. purchased this basically to lower coil whine with my hd6970, and it did just that.

This energy provide blew my socks off, and that is some thing I have in no way mentioned just before. The packaging is amazing, and genuinely shows the level of detail utilized all through the design and production of this device. There are more cables of every form than you could in all probability picture using, and they are further extended!Wonderful to not have a massive bundle of unused power cables at the bottom of my case.Strong rails that are not fluctuating beneath load. I dare say that some of the cables may well be too extended. I had a hard time bundling them all up in a way that they were not obstructing airflow and also nonetheless be in a position to put the case back together (Antec Lanboy Air). I can't get over the packaging for this item. The box is sturdy and extremely well place together. Inside, the PSU itself is encased in some really thick foam to defend it during shipping. The cables are in a velvet-like pouch that is fantastic for storage of unused cables. Also integrated is a case badge and a bag of black zip ties to match the cables. Other manufacturers could discover a bit from the presentation of this solution!

I upgraded my Graphics card and had to replace my power provide as effectively because the new one wants far more juice 鹺 Fermi). I was hesitant mainly because I want a very quiet program and I was worried that a 750W Power Provide was going to be noisy. Extremely pleased to find that the Corsair 750 watt is almost totally silent, even quiter that the 500W Antac Phantom that I replaced. Modular plugs made it a really clean set up as well, undoubtedly worth buying :):):) Not confident what to do with my old energy supply?

Comment:
This model is based on a CWT (Channel Well Technology OEM) platform, and (knock on wood) I have yet to have any problems with it after more than four years. It performs as expected and is nice and quiet.\The design isn't "fully" modular, but the one cable that does not detach should not be an insurmountable obstacle. It comes with plenty of cables and a velcro-closure bag for storing them, as well as a velvet-type bag to prevent scratches on the PSU itself.I recently purchased another one to keep as a backup, and while I dislike the new sticker (the one in the above images is no longer accurate) it's more of the same. They have also changed the packaging - it's a little bit more OEM'y and less durable, but compared to the fancy coated box of a few years ago it's also more eco-friendly.
