Me and a pal both have this RAM on the Rampage three Formula motherboard and have had no troubles with it detecting the 6gb or RAM. We did have troubles acquiring the 2000 mhz, but with a speedy get in touch with to Corsair, the challenge was solved. none however

Excellent, quick, solid. Can't very get it to run at 2000Mhz. My laptop or computer reboots itself randomly when I have the RAM pushed up to about 1995 - 2005 MHz. I have to run it at 1904 MHz but that's still fairly rapid. I haven't as soon as had my mobo report something much less than 6GB no matter how numerous instances I restart it. As soon as I put in the RAM, that was that; 6GB.The only issue I have is that I can't get the RAM to run at or about 2GHz without having the technique rebooting itself. It doesn't blue screen, it power cycles. On the other hand, I don't know if this is due to the RAM or the mobo. The dilemma with the Asus Rampage III formula is that I can't set the DIMM voltage to an even 1.65v. I have to set it either slightly beneath or slightly above. I attempted letting the board auto adjust and it goes above 1.65v at the greater speed settings; which could be causing the instability. So I dropped the speed to 1904MHz and the voltage to the setting just beneath 1.65 and I have no troubles.

Great memory for overclocking. It's not worth 贶 for eight-8-8-24 as an alternative of 8-9-eight-24; this RAM has taken me to 2000 Mhz no challenge and was rock solid stable at 1.65v at the recommended timing settings. In addition the XMP actually worked, which is more of a gimmick factor but in the past gimmicks like EPP have generally led to instability on my technique - not the case with this memory! Fan is loud. Shows as operating close to 4k rpm; in a case full of fans (HAF-X), this little cooler drowns out all the other fans till I set it to a decrease RPM via a fan bay adapter. Exceptional RAM, highly recommended. Ran like a champ on my MSI Major Bang Xpower motherboard.

This set rocks, 2000mhz is ideal, i am operating them at 2054mhz with a I7 920ʄ.1. with the stock cooler they never heat up, no point of the water block. Cost, had to up the voltage to 1.7 for stability, not actually a large deal for 2054mhz Rampage three Formula, I7 920 D step 205x20, heatkiller water-block, XSPC 4x120 rad, eight fans push/pull running at 45% energy per T-Balancer bigNG

I'm content with it. The value I guess. To N/A,The XMP setting performs on my Rampage III Extreme at stock settings, anyhow it's greater to manually set it mine is at 1707 now and it gets a far better memory bench score then with XMP enabled.Haven't tweaked it considerably but I'm confident I'll be at 1800 soon also sooner or later Asus will release a bios that supports it far better.

Looks pretty. Manual or XMP settings, this memory will not permit an Asus Rampage three Extreme X58 motherboard to post when running the memory at 2000mhz. Also randomly if operating the memory over 1333mhz, bios and windows will only show 4gb instead of 6gb. Checked all dimms if they are working, and they are.

Looks great, runs chill... no need for the integrated fan. This RAM was on the "Qualified Vendors List" of authorized RAM for my ASUS motherboard. The fan truly got in the way of my CPU cooler (Cooler Master Hyper 212+). Situation has adequate fans to cool the RAM. Possibly I can sell the fan.Haven't changed any settings on the BIOS... possibly it can do a lot much more with proper settings.7.7 Windows Expertise Rating (Win 7 Pro 64-bit)

Performs really properly and to specification. I actually like the Dominator series. You can realize 4+Ghz OC speeds with no the require to OC this memory. The Corsair Customer service men and women have often been excellent to me about honoring their warranty. None Any person experiencing mobo conflicts will need to update their mobo's BIOS. This is a nicely identified problem prevalent with early BIOS versions.

This is excellent RAM, looks wonderful, has a nice cooling fan. For some purpose this RAm does not play good with the Rampage three or two motherboard. As stated in an additional user's assessment.. I had the exact exact same problem. It could detect 6GB at initially but then right after a few reboots will only detect 4GB. CPU-ID will see 6GB but the bios in this board will only detect 4GB. If I turn off the laptop or computer, and reset one of the Ram chips.. It will after again discover 6GB but then again immediately after a shutdown and about 1 hour delay it will only boot up with 4GB. For some purpose even if I shutdown and only pull power provide cord it isn't sufficient to make it recognize the 6GB. Physically reseating the RAM does the trick. A little of voltage must exist in the motherboard to know this distinction. Other than this.. The ram worked flawlessly.

Really high excellent. Great heat sink and the fins do have thermal tape on them for maxium heat transfer. Quite quickly and run excellent. Hit 6-7-6-18 @ 1600 mhz 1.65v Couldn't get them to 2000mhz on a EVGA X58. Still playing with settings so we'll... see. Got them to post once but had been unstable. Was aiming at underclocking them anyways due to the fact the achieve is minimal from 1600mhz. The fan is loud, bulky, and utterly useless. The ram stays really cool to the touch even beneath heaving gaming.. So So... If could do it all more than again probably go with the Mushk** 6-8-6-20 1600mhz memory instead. A lot less costly and I got about the exact same outcomes.

Excellent Memory, turns my Evga 760 classified into a ferrari !!!! So I had to get one more set for a total of 12 GB. Always check your motherboard website for compatibility of memory. Included fans following 3 months started to sqeal like something awful. Only required a single for all 6 sticks, but had to modify the initially a single and the second 1 reacted the similar following only 2 days for a total of 3 months and two days. Found that if you take the underside (black) sticker and it's backing off the fan housing absolutely , there's a rubber plug that you can take out and spray a tiny White Lithium Grease into it (carefully). Clean the back off thoughly, dry , replug , cover with electrical tape (to hold the plug in) and the fan is brand new once again. I think they didn't lubricate it enough.

Good cost for the frequency potentials (variability) and voltage range. Great test bed for OC'rs and one doesn't need to have to install the fan kit due to the fact they run cool sufficient up to 1.65 volts devoid of it. Don't need the dual fan kit - that's wasted material. Second set of 2x3's bought for household personal computer use, some gaming. Use as triple channel Dram.

Outstanding RAM! Corsair has a TEC Cooler (T30) For the ram! Down clocked for a tighter timing arrangement, fantastic amount of play in timings. Heat sinks are adhered to the RAM Modules themselves. Bummer for myself, I have all nickle plated cooling kit installed and alas the RAM is not finding with the program. Contacted tech support for any guidance due to the fact no forum has posted anything about this concern. And have been notified that something capable of removing the adhesive EX: paint thinner will also destroy the silicone! So don't try it!

This ram is Rapidly! DDR3-2000 speeds on my EVGA E760 CLASSIFIED motherboard and it just screams. Almost certainly the most awesome looking ram as well. The color scheme looks incredibly sharp! None Personally, I think if you are only operating 1.65v by way of your vDimm, there is no will need for the airflow fan. The sticks are cool to the touch and hardly ever get warm. If you have decent airflow in your case you should be fine.

Looks sexy. Looks sexy. Let's just call a spade a spade here: this RAM is not a very good match for either the Rampage 3 or two Extreme mainboards. It's like the irresistible cute toy dog that refuses to be house broken and repeatedly defiles the Persian rugs.I've tried two kits. Each failed miserably in two rigs - 1 running R2E, the other R3E. On the R3E only 4GB was recognized utilizing modest manual settings to spec. In the R2E, the PC recognized all 6GB but would not boot at a clock higher than 1600MHz.R3E: I replaced the Corsair with a 6GB kit of G.Skill F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ at half the expense. Booted appropriate up at 1600MHz with all 6GB recognized. Making use of 12GB of G.Skill, it once again booted up at 1600MHz with all 12GB recognized. The core difficulty: it's not the user. It's not the motherboard. It's not how the CPU is seated. It's that premium, high priced RAM is not performing to spec with out dumb luck or hours of tweaking. This RAM at this price must boot up at spec with ease. It doesn't. Not even close.
