Corsair tends to make some fantastic Memory. functions good right out of the box.Plug and play as far as start up Will not run as advertised eight 8 eight 24 timing settings. Attempted to set up manualy in the bios as other people have stated but with no luck.System unstable and will not start off with these settings. Really should have gone with memory far more suted to motherboard.Specs:Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Case CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750WASUS M4A79XTD EVO AM3AMD Phenom II X4 925 Deneb two.8GHzArctic Silver 5 Thermal CompoundZALMAN CNPS9700 LED 110mm two Ball CPU CoolerCORSAIR XMS3 4GB DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB 7200ቼMB CacheEVGA GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB 256-bit

Error cost-free, trustworthy, rapidly, heat spreaders. Performs at advertised speed/voltage following BIOS adjustment Not positive what temp memory supposed to run at, but they really feel hot to the touch in regular operation. WinXP only recognizes three.2Gb, but Corsair memory is so reliable it will most likely be about when I dust off my wallet and pay for Vista or 7. Installed in a Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P

Nice seeking heat spreaders. I discovered never to obtain ram right here again due to ridiculous restocking costs. -Will not run at 1600 specs at 1.65v with eight-eight-824 timings bios settings. Growing voltage did absolutely nothing (I have a 120mm fan blowing on these issues, too). -Only Runs steady at 1333 speeds or reduce. -Had to pay a restocking fee of ภ.50 for the manufacturer's failure--wow. I attempted a distinct brand with similar specs and no issues. Did I mention the ภ.50 restocking fee? No, I shouldn't have to take duty for a manufacture's failure. I can assume of an additional location that doesn't do this and even delivers a cost-free shipping return label. So next time, Ill be getting ram elsewhere.

Seems fantastic. I've place it through memtest for about 24 hours ྫྷ passes) with no issues. My mobo (Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H) auto-detected them as DDR3 1333 (-1 egg), but I have manually stepped them up to 1600 and not experienced any issues as a result far. Complete disclosure: I bought these from yet another vendor, but Newegg's evaluations are the very best!

Memory 4GB ƒx2) is rock solid @ 1600 with eight-eight-8-22-30-1T @ 1.62volts in a Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H, of course this is not the default settings. Will try 8GB when the value is far more agreeable. The price improve over the past 2 months.

rapid, fast, and cheapish none the voltage, yes it is set to like 1.eight on some mobos so just launch ur bios and enter quickly and set it to 1.55. it says a voltage of 1.65 but i use 1.55 to be secure and everything has been stable. also update ur bios because alot of asus boards just released an update for some RAM with this challenge!

Used this RAM for my i5-750 develop, and have been incredibly happy with it so far. I was a bit sketchy about how well it would function with my motherboard (ASUS P7P55D Pro), but it posted just fine on initial boot. So far it's been a common Corsair product: good top quality and incredibly steady (even with overclocking experiments). In order to get the RAM to run @ 1600, you will have to apply an overclock (at least if you use the similar board/CPU as me). The efficiency was excellent ahead of discovering this out, so not a large deal, and it most likely isn't going to be noticeable to most individuals. I'm at the moment overclocked to three.6ghz, but a speed of 1600 is available at decrease CPU clock speeds. Check the voltage in your BIOS on 1st boot. I didn't have any troubles with mine, but have heard horror stories about automatic voltage settings on some motherboards cranking the RAM/CPU voltage to the point where you threat harm to your method. I was fine on very first boot, but it's definitely a thing to verify.
