Cons: Will not run at advertised 2000 MHz and I want to know why users have not challenged corsair about this fact. As others have said here, if I wanted other than 2000 MHz I would have purchased other ram. 2000 is mentioned below in specs! Why do they blatantly say it does what users are proving it does not. ?

Pros: Decent ram running on 1155 gigabyte ga-z77x-ud3h mother board Will not run at 2000 MHz as advertised. I have it stable at 1866 MHz and it has run at 4.8 Ghtz Currently running at 4.5 ghz.

Good ram for my system, but annoyed of false promises. You wouldn't buy a car that's advertised as capable of doing 200 miles an hour, then drive it and only be able to do 100.

It performs... But not at DDR3 2000 I wasn’t in a position to get it steady operating at 1866 even at ridiculously loose timings and/or voltage but oddly the memory I got runs wonderfully at 1600 with the following timings 7-8-7-24-2 @ 1.65volts and w/incressed vccsa. Not genuinely what I bought but the timings are so great running it at 1600 that it’s benching at about the exact same at if I had it running at ddr3 2000 9-ten-9-27-two.

Steady (at the appropriate speeds)Decent timing Not capable to attain advertised 2000 speeds It's my own fault for not reading other peoples feedback, but I'm quite disappointed that I'm not in a position to hit 2000mhz.I highest I can get this steady is 1600. If I had wanted 1600mhz ram, I would have bought it. This is the first time in more than 10 years that I've purchased a Corsair product (the last purchase was also, a undesirable knowledge) and I doubt I'll ever do so once again. Corsair, you could at least list it on the particulars web page that the maximum attainable Intel and AMD speeds are various.I plan on reselling this ram, and going for Gskill or Adata. Neither of them have ever failed me like this in the previous.

With a ASUS Crosshair Formula IV Motherboard and a 1090T Thuban CPU Overclocked to 4ghz this Ram is running at 1866Mhz. In order to get the Ram to run at that speed stably I required to manually adjust the Voltage of Ram to 1.80v about 10% higher than Manufacturer Spec.I'm subtracting a star simply because this Ram is not reaching it's advertised possible on AMD Systems without OC.Thinking of that my Gskill 8gb 4gbX2 ddr3 1333 wouldn't go past 995Mhz I'm a delighted camper. Generally this is giving me double the functionality of the G.Skill 1333 at much less than double the price tag. I wanted to get it operating at 2000 so I wrote tech support and they replied that this ram will only run at 1333 or 1600 on AMD Method. This ought to be incorporated in the description but than once again possibly everyone with AMD will break the rules and get this Puppy operating at 1866Tech Assistance Reply:I do apologize even so that kit is rated at 2000MHz on an Intel platform. On an AMD platform most probably the highest you will be capable to get is 1333MHz or 1600MHz. You would require to set the timings to 9-9-9-24-2T(CAS - tRCD - tRP - tRAS - Command Price) and the memory voltages to 1.65v. Thank You! I'm a pleased camper, when this ram didn't give me the magic quantity of 2000Mhz it did come close and it blew the lesser priced Ram away.My outcome was great on my rig and who knows if I want to commit time with settings possibly I could bring it to 2000Mhz but I figure that 1.8v is supporting 1866 stably so I may as well cease now. Usually Electronic Components are built with a ten% leeway so this is the Max voltage I'd want to use.Stability testing was two hours of Prime 95 although streaming Videos!! Along with 5 sessions of Furr. Also tested completely following 2-3 hours of Memtest. This Ram was costly but properly worth the further income due to my accomplishment in Overclocking it.

Quite rapid! makes my games smoother with that further bandwidth. bandwidth scored 27.4GB/soverclocked to 2133mhz with no challenge! no voltage adjust.RUNS on my MSI 67 chipset with my sandy bridge @ a modest four.5GHZ none so far I didnt obtain it from newegg, but i got it for the exact same cost, minus the shipping, and got to use it very same day.

The RAM has been incredibly stable and worked appropriate out of the box (no DOA's)- Rapidly- Big capacity- No tall heat spreader (I've had plenty of troubles with tall heat spreaders & my CPU heatsink prior to) As talked about with other evaluations, this isn't going to be stock 2000MHz with AMD. You'll require some OC'ing to bump it up on an AMD platform. I have two sets of these ྰGB total) and haven't any troubles with any of the sticks. I haven't pushed these to 2000MHz just yet, but I do strategy to soon.

On Asus Crosshair IV board it fired up straight away at 1600 with no troubles with 16gb Ɣx4). I'm not going to attempt and I hear other have attempted to punch it to 2000 on AMD systems, I'll pass pushing it for now. I like numerous others have had additional difficulties with CPU coolers and the height of their installed RAM. I have brand new, 8gb of DDR3 G.Ability Flare RAM that seams to only operate with the stock CPU fans. Immediately after 3, right after marketplace fans later...the RAM sits. none The price tag of 跌 for 16gb is fantastic and great. Us people thats kicked the can around the block a small a lot more than other people can don\'t forget costs much significantly higher. My first tricky-drive (HD) was a double height 30mb(not GB) beast that weighed in at five pounds and expense me over 跌.By compared, an apple HD of the exact same 30mb size was a correct non-bargain at 軸. Immediately after apple sued Franklin laptop or computer out of the company: I've by no means looked at a different apple product. History buddies; loving and remembering it.

Presently running overclocked @ DDR2066 1.65v 9-11-9-27 in Asus Sabertooth p67. Great speed for an 8GB set, I am content with my acquire. None so far, rock solid! Not almost as quick as some Gskill 4GB sets, but that is the tradeoff for much more memory. I see a lot of 8GB running at 1866 with the same timings as these sticks, if you are going sandy bridge get the fastest memory you can afford. P67 memory bandwith is just insane.

Thus far, I have played about with the memory settings a bit to attain the maximum clock. I have an AMD system, therefore I was unable to attain the maximum rating of 2000. While I was able to get this ram to run @ 1832 with upping the voltage a bit. I still have some more tweaking to do nevertheless. Achieving the 2000 mhz rated speed is unattainable on an AMD method at this time, even so, I knew this prior to getting. Make confident you do your research just before plopping down that additional cash. Regardless of the 2000 mhz inconsistency, this memory provided me with the finest opportunity to attain a high stable clock.

This is my initially OC technique. Motherboard is a ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 with a AMD Phenom II X6 three.2Ghz CPU. Been running for a though now and it works great. I tested with manual settings and working with the TurboV EVO computer software that came with the motherboard and am in a position to get a stable 1856Mhz at 1.65V. Despite the fact that it does not get to 2000Mhz, I knew it wouldn't mainly because I read it here 1st. That stated, I nevertheless bought this because I saw it as a challenge to squeak out additional Mhz Heat issues? I employed all original manufacturer parts which includes the original heat sink compound that came pre-applied to the CPU. I utilised a Cooler Master case with just the original fans and the ASUS Pc Probe II software package reports the CPU at 35 degrees Celsius, despite the fact that it took a week or so for the CPU temp to burn down from about 42.

It works. -Won't run @ 2000 on AMD systems. Knew this when I purchased though i suppose. Just had to go into the bios and manually set it to 1866 speed, and adjust the DRAM voltage to 1.75v.
