Fantastic ram, quickly and big Not seriously a con about the ram, was a lot more the motherboards fault. Had difficulty placing them in given that the slots have been a small tight. Had to use some pressure and heard a handful of slight cracking noises. It was the "blade" issues on top of the ram. Just installed tonight. It ran at 1730 finishing a single cycle of memtest64 with definitely no tweaking of the memory settings, and I had XMP enabled. It previously passed memtest64 operating at 1640 with XMP engaged. I have it operating on am i7 platform at three.6GHz. I've also run a couple of of the 3edmark tests and I swear obtaining the added memory causes them to run so significantly smoother, but that could be my imagination. None but. The initial time I've been a first-time reviewer. I will post back as I play with these set some much more, as I will have some time more than the subsequent week or so.And BTW, kudos huge time to newegg. I bought these final Friday AM, and by the evening the price had dropped ฤ. I known as newdgg yesterday and complained and with no any hesitation, they refunded me the distinction. That's why I generally shop newegg. They seriously did not have to do that and I would not have been all that upset, but it was a small consideration for a long-time client. Thanks newegg. Now send me a new tee-shirt :). |

Tweaked it to run at DDR3-1866 9-9-9-24 1.5V on a initial-release Asus P8P67 board and it is carrying out it with absolutely no problems. It appears this is fantastic overclocking RAM as well. Enhanced WEI to 7.9. (FWIW, which is nothing at all.) None. Best item of its kind I've ever owned. Corsair now has one more loyal client. |

Began off just fine with this memory final December. I was operating at eight-8-8-24, 1T at 1640 at 1.5Vdimm, on i7 system and stable on occt and memtest. Then in late January, I noticed that one of the heat spreaders fell off. I got an RMA from Corsair, I sent the memory in (paid by me), and then it sat for like ten days at Corsair prior to they ultimately noted it and ultimately notified me of a replacement. I ultimately installed the replacement Friday PM and it runs at eight-9-eight-24, 1T, once again steady with OCCT and memtest. . . So I've lost a small bit of the spec, but I will reside with it as I don't want to wait once more and have to pay once again to return the memory. I've owned Cosair just before, usually had very good luck. Rather disappointed with this whole method. Gotta say this, even though, at a single point I in fact talked to an individual on the phone. Now that's a incredibly very bit plus in my view. |

I got the 9-9-9-24 version from fr y's and they had to decrease the price tag just to match newegg then it would jam up durring OC but returned it to fr ys and got the XMP eight-8-8-24 from here and it functions good! Why by the decrease stat vengance ram 9-9-9-24 all your getting imo is a vengance heatsink on a cheap corsair ram stick! Pay a little a lot more get the greater timing! I actually ordered another pair of RAM for my NCIX-built PC, but they didn't have any in stock so they were nice enough to upgrade me to these bad boys.....for free! Swapped out a pair of 2GB 1.65V Corsair Dominator DDR3-1600 CAS8 sticks for this stuff... set the BIOS to 1.5V for the RAM and I was off and operating. Definitely no impact on pre-current OC settings by swapping in this RAM. Have not had a possibility to seriously play with it however. Like the reality that I did not have to give away a CAS setting to go to 1.5V which is what SB demands. None. Encouraged. OCing is several with Sandy Bridge. You don't get a lot of memory tweaking capabilities... just set the multiplier. It's comparable to the old Athlon X2s exactly where that was pretty substantially all you did was set the multi. FWIW, this RAM gets 7.8 in Windows Practical experience Index on my 2500K system. |

Fantastic RAM, I Guess - but I'll never know. Heat sink made sticks to higher to match beneath my Tuniq 120 cooling tower. As stated above would not match in space accessible. Gave the five eggs to Newegg - placed order on Sunday nightreceived it on Wednesday. Need to have far more eggs - Newegg guidelines! |

Quick when it functions and strong at 1366 9-9-9-24 loopy at eight-8-eight-24 and 1600: supposed settings. blue screens with voltage at 1.5 which is the advised voltage and cpu on stock settings. Possibly a bad pair. Hoping an rma will go nicely. |

No matter what troubles I troubleshoot it by no means seems to be the DDR. This is just yet another wonderful solution which has come to be expected from Corsair. This DDR3 replaced a build that orignially had DDR 400 from Corsair. Their items are exceptional and will last as long if not longer than all other components. It's not low cost, but you get what you pay for. Corsair or you'll regret it. |

Functions excellent, runs effortlessly at eight-eight-eight-24 at 1.50V at 1640 ྪ X 164) and set to intense functionality, simply passing or scoring effectively on Memtest, CCCP and SiSoft Sandra tests. Also runs really well when I bump the mult to ྫྷ X 164 = 1968) with the settings relaxed to 9-ten-9-27 and Vdimm at 1.64. I most likely could tighten individuals up a bit. None so far. Running as advertised. I do video editing and recoding, and the added memory (I had 4G before) helps, particularly with no speed loss. Functions wonderful in my i7 860 system which I have OCed to three.60GHz. |

I previously gave this 5 begins in a overview below and still would as it has been solid memory, until today. I found this AM that the heat spreader on one of the dimms began to separate; it was was extremely lop-sided, and it looked like the memory had fallen out of the socket (it had not, it was just the spreader coming off). I pulled the dimm. I have filed an RMA with Corsair. I filed the RMA this AM and was supposed to have received an email but have not. I am waiting for Corsair. Stuff happens, and I'm not all that bent about this, and would obtain from them once more, but that will be contingent on how they handle the RMA. This memory was only 5 weeks old, so obviously the heat spreader was defective. |

Worked properly exactly where G.Skill Ripjaws didn't. I have two of these kits for a total 16GB capacity operating in my Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 motherboard with no troubles. Wish they were lower profile as I had to mod my CPU cooler to make them fit. But then again my cooler was large to start with ƒx120mm fans) |

Memory functions excellent with my AMD 1090T X6 & MSI 890FXA-GD70... At present operating at 1333 and 1T extremely stable..,haven't bumped up to 1600 but but will do that in a week or two and then report back. So far no complaints. None at this time I purchased 8GB which really should be a lot more than sufficient for anything any much more is actually more than kill but who knows , I may well purchase another 8GB just for the entertaining of it. |

This is some damn good ram. Most should be able to run it at DDR3 1600 at 8-8-8-24-2t, or DDR3 1333 7-7-7-21-1t for the tighter timings. If anyone is wondering, this ram works fine in 890FX motherboards. I put these in my gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5, and she took them no problem. A friend of mine owns the msi 890fxa-gd65 board, which is also an 890FX board. He also purchased this ram, and it works without issues. Corsair always makes quality ram. For heavy multitasking, 4 gigs ram just does not cut it anymore. Do yourself a favor, and grab 8 gigs. You will not be disappointed. |

Looks sexy with my Sabertooth Mobo, will buy a second pair if there is a sale, or I can talk an Aunt or Uncle into buying my this for Christmas. Already got my parents to get me a second 7970, so I doubt they will also get me this too.
