Cons: type/brand of thermal paste is not specified, foam shim is very thin,
Pros: pure copper, includes a foam shim adhesive outline to help balance heatsink and protect bare die from being crushed. Includes a 3g syringe of greyish colour thermal paste. Heatsink base is perfect mirror shiny smooth. Packaging is a small black paper box with attractive sticker advertising. Foam place holders inside to protect heatsink in transit. |

Cons: not sure what chipset it fits without mods

Finally decided to mod it so it would fit on the south bridge of an Asus Maximus Formula south bridge. had to mod the hole for mounting on SB but once i did that it dropped the temps from 38c to 33c. |
I think NCIX sent the wrong product. The sku matches but the manufacturer part number I received is the CNB-S1L which is the low profile version. I havn't even used it yet. I bought it in case the round option from Enzotech was superfulous but alas the round copper heatsink was great. I'll keep this for spare or some other system that will make better use of it. I'm sure it's an excellent product I have no complaints even though I havn't used it again. Will definatley buy more when I need.
