Cons: -Very large. It can crowd the other components of the motherboard.

Pros: -Quiet as advertised.
Comment:
This heat sink is nice a quiet and keeps my CPU (Core i5 3570K) cool. The only problem (unless you consider the price a problem) is that the heat sink is so large that it crowded my RAM so much that I actually had to remove the heat sink attached to my RAM. This hasn't caused me any issues except for the initial cold sweat of thinking my components wouldn't fit together. Still kind of a bummer, though.

Cons: Make sure you buy low-profile RAM!A more difficult install than other CPU coolersLED only comes in blueMeasure your case--it is very large

Pros: Attractive.Near silentKeeps my FX8350 very cool
Comment:
I bought this on sale about 8 months ago when I built an ESXi box based on an AMD FX8350. I had read reports that you required low-profile RAM sticks. I can confirm that they are definitely a must-have if you intend to fill up all the DIMM slots. Installation was pretty difficult. You DO NOT want to lose the tool required for this. I don't remember if my box came with the thermal grease, but you most-likely have your own brand that your are loyal to.This is a very large CPU Cooler. The largest I've used. I use this in a CM HAF XB. When installed, you do not have enough room for the top grill fan. I suspect that is typical for many other cases. So do your measurements. This cools better on air than my closed-loop water coolers. It is that good. Seriously.

Cons: Absolutely nothing

Pros: Best fan cooling system
Comment:
I bought this fan for an Intel I7 930 heating at 80 degrees on idle and over 90 on playing. (Main reason : the computer is on 2nd floor). Now it gone at 40 degrees on idle and max 60 degrees on playing. Finally, you couldn have better fan for the moment. It's simply the best for the price and it's the more efficient.

Cons: Built in fans aren't easily user replaceable in case something goes wrong or seeking for better fans customization.

Pros: Unique wind tunnel design to maximize heat dissipation performance. Large heat pipes design and extra fine aluminum fins helps maintain temp under load. Attractive design that showcase itself well with windowed case.
Comment:
This is a nice all in one air cooling for buyers looking for an attractive design without sacrificing actual cooling performance.

Cons: Difficult to install due to RAM clearance issues.

Pros: Quiet, cool, blue LEDs
Comment:
Got this on sale. It keeps my LGA2011 CPU quite quiet and cool. Installation was very difficult though since it covers the first slot of each DIMM bank. I had to trim my Mushkins a bit to get it to fit. If you do get this, I recommend only buying low profile RAM sticks.

Cons: Size

Pros: It's a Zalman
Comment:
I bought it for my son new build but i couldn't use it cause he got high heatsink RAM sticks. The only way to be able to use it would have been to put an 'X' on dual channel by using the two far slots for ram (don't give me dual channel on is Asus M5A97 r2.0)I'm keeping it for my own next rig . woooooI know i can trust Zalman for their cooling device so i would recommend anyway.... mean all the way. But check your Ram height. Got good reviews all over the world.I forgot to tell you that i got it on sale at 39.99$ with MIR. That's a steal. This review was modfied by poster @ 02-09-13 08:38 AM

This is one of the greatest air coolers you can ever get. It is a bit cheaper than the premium water coolers, and you don't have to worry about leakage.

This is a heck of a cooler, it really keeps the temperatures down. It moves a lot of air, and pretty reliable so far. If you have an overclocked system, then this is the cooler for you.

Cons: I have an i5-3570k and this thing is LOOSE on the CPU, i.e. when installing it just a tiny bit of force and you could rotate it clockwise/counterclockwise. Now that the system's been running for a while it's a bit more secure but still far looser than I care for. And yes, I did mount it properly and tighten it all the way! Now that I have it I googled this specific problem and it does seem like others have had the exact same issue. Temperatures seem fine but I'm still uneasy with this.Absolutely massive. Even with low profile RAM on a Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H the closest RAM slot is blocked and I had some difficulty using the second. Also made it difficult to run the 8-pin CPU power connector. Also it's quite close to my GTX 680 and the PCI-E1 slot above the GPU is probably blocked though I haven't tried that one.I did not like the included thermal grease, it was too thick, went with some MX-4 instead.

Pros: Great temperatures, looks awesome.
Comment:
The looseness really bugs me and the size is troublesome. Installation was somewhat difficult, though as I haven't done a build since LGA775 that may be common to 1155. Temperatures seem great, on an i5-3570K at 4.2GHz I get 30-35C idle and 60-65C load with MX-4 paste; keep in mind Ivy runs hot, and I don't know how well other coolers do--this is the only one I've actually owned for this CPU.

Cons: - the nickel plating around some of the heatpipes, at the base, was not smooth. I noticed that it lightly scratched my lapped Phenom II x4/x6 960T, after the intial test run.Performance is better than expected, so I'm not too concerned.- The easy install could be made easier if the allan key was 5-15mm longer. Lucky for me .. I have long and skinny fingers. ;p

Pros: - its a Zalman- water cooling temps, without the water, pump and hose .. woot !- gaming temps are
Comment:
TBH, I wasn't expecting to see the temps drop  as much as they have, because my 1.5 yr old, mint condition Zalman CNPS 9900nt is no slouch.Normal summertime CPU temps..IDLE : WAS (Artic Silver 5, MX-2) 32-39C. NOW (Zalman ZM STG2)28-35C GAMING : WAS 38-42C. NOW 32-36C.Minor cons aside, I am very happy with my 5 star purchase.pEACeHippie Tech
