I got this for my pump so it would look a little nicer but mostly so I could use compression fittings. I put the bracket on and mounted it sideways. The bracket did not allow me to use it in this manner and I had to trim a 10mm by 5mm portion of it off with the Dremel.There were no instructions in my package but it is pretty straight forward.
