Cons: None that I can think of

Pros: Quiet, Efficient, Loads of Power Options
Comment:
This beast of a power supply has served me well this past 6 months, purchased along with a 900D for a custom loop setup and might I say, wow..this unit provides a surplus of connection options all while keeping whipper silent. Fan only spins up when i boot my pc for a total of about 5-10 seconds, after which it stops and sits idle as I'm not stressing it by any means. Very happy once again with Corsair products and will definitely be sticking to my guns next time around. Corsair you have done it again and have kept me on as a loyal customer.

Cons: Price

Pros: Lots of power. Sleever friendly.
Comment:
If you are running more than 1 gpu and want a top quality unit can't go wrong with this. An extra bonus is there is very minimal double wires if you want to sleeve this yourself.

Cons: None.

Pros: Extremely capable and efficient.
Comment:
This PSU is much better than the Antec Quattro 1200 watt unit it was replacing. It is quieter, more power efficient, and fully modular which really makes for easy and tidy cable mangement.Still running strong after 2 years, and worth every penny.

Cons: If the fan is turned on manually above 40 Degrees, its a bit loud...though I see no reason to do so. Initial software setup was a bit annoying since the application first had a hard time detecting the Link Dongle. After a few restarts and software setup though everything runs silky. Last CON is that although the cables are protected with a very dense wire cover, they seem a bit cheap. My cables fro my recently blown (5 year old) thermaltake 1200W had very nice shielding, color code, and obvious quality overall for cables.

Pros: Always runs 93% efficient and up. I have an overclocked 920 u 3.8, 200 blck, and 2x gtx 680 lightnings with all the usual hardware. The Fan never turns on, even when stress testing to the max. Never runs above 50 Degrees C Max. Really cool to get a real time monitor of how much power is being drawn from the socket and how much is being converted to usable power to the system, as well
Comment:
I never go to over 800 Watts with my system. If you run a similar system or less, def stick with the AX860i, much better deal for what you need and what you get. I only got a 1200 because I plan to run my next setup from this PSU which will include a high power water pump, a few more fans, a couple more drives and some extra usb peripherals.

Cons: Cable length, coil-whine, price

Pros: Efficient, all black cables, quiet, clean power
Comment:
SATA and 8-pin are too short for my 800D, so a word of caution to anyone planning to use this PSU in a full tower case, where as the 24-pin is quite long...Got an RMA for my first 1200i for severe coil-whine, replacement has some intermittent coil-whine, but I wont be bothered to replace this PSU a second time. Some videos on Youtube and posts on Toms seem to suggest that this is not an uncommon problem.Otherwise a good 1200W PSU (especially if you plan to use the included cables indefinitely)If you plan on using custom sleeved cables, etc. i would suggest something from xfx or silverstone at a lower price point, and with cable length designed for a full tower chassis (I ended up fabricating new 8-pins to make the 1200i work)

I contacted Corsair Tech Support at www.corsair.com regarding the adapters that ALAIN_L referred to in his Customer Review dated 09/14/12.Corsair promptly replied stating, "I told you I was unsure if we had these adapters and you told me about what this user posted. I have checked with our parts department and we do not have these adapters. I'm not sure why this user posted this."So what's up ALAIN_L? I

Cons: -Only 6X 6+2 PCIe connectors when competitors are offering 8X 6+2 connectors for the same watts. Pretty stupid omission for a 1200W PSU. But Corsair are offering a free adaptor for this, so no biggie. At least they know they made a mistake there and are trying to fix it for free. :)-Price is not a con for me. Top notch electrical performance + DSP isn't cheap. And I'm powering 4X 7970 + i7 3930k. So I get piece of mind that my PSU won't fail me.

Pros: -Plenty of rock-stable power-Nice sleeving-Crazy good warranty
Comment:
My AX1200i is powering 4X 7970 Quad-Fire (yes, 4), i7 3930k at 5.1 24/7 with Asus Rampage IV Extreme, 16Gb of RAM. I'm using a dual-PSU set-up. My other PSU is powering 32 Gentle Typhoon 1850 fans, 4 pumps MCP-655, HDD and SDD.The AX1200i is great. And the software is really useful to monitor the power going in and out of it, and the internal temp of the 1200i. I really like this. Geek Heaven! :)And since I'm taking 1950W form the wall for my system, I need top notch electrical performance to be sure nothing could catch on fire! Top PSU on the market right now. Nothing is coming close to it. I replaced my noisy and fugly Antec HCP-1200 with the AX1200i and never looked back.

Cons: Price is a little steep, but it's worth it, so not really a con.

Pros: Excellent build quality, excellent cables, Corsair Link, fully modular, extremely well packaged. Delivers upto 1200w of power, enough cables for Tri SLI / Trifire and more than enough cables for HDD's, SSD's and anything else you could possibly fit into your system!
