Using this in a backup server with 6 x 4TB hard drives and 1 SSD and it seems to be doing a great job.

Cons: Several issues with this specific model ranging from chirping noises to PWN Fan controller issues and more.

Pros: Stable PowerGood AestheticsGreat Warranty
Comment:
The power supply worked fine for just over four months, after that it developed an issue with the fan controller that resulted in the fan spinning up and spinning down repeatedly while at idle and ONLY at idle.

Cons: Not a reliable PSU. 12V was way under and PSU fried my SSD.

Pros: There are no pros to add. The PSU was faulty.
Comment:
My computer's bios started beeping one day. I went to check it out and there was no display. I managed to get into the bios and found that the PSU 12V reading was at 9V. Also the bios was not picking up the SSD. Got NCIX to check it out and the PSU was indeed faulty, but thankfully only my SSD was fried. Do not purchase this PSU. I am also avoiding Corsair in general.

Cons: None

Pros: Solid build qualityGood looksVery quietModular
Comment:
I chose this based off the success I had with a Corsair PSU I purchased off a friend which ran well, looked good, and did it's job without trouble or coil whine. This one has thus far done the same and I will heartily recommend Corsair PSUs in the future.

Cons: none

Pros: modular easy to install
Comment:
this power supply is the first modular power supply I have owned, and it is quiet, and the cables are nicely sleeved in black however the cables themselves aren't individually wrapped. would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Solid built, quiet running. Modular cables make it a super easy install. Corsair is the best choice in PSU's. Would recommend and buy again.

Obvious quality and care has gone into the design and assembly of this unit. Can't even hear it run.

Cons: -It makes high pitched noises at random intervals. Seems the coils are defective (I received 2 units with the same issue). They squeal and whine rather loudly.

Pros: -It powers your PC like a power supply should.
Comment:
I bought the HX650 during Christmas. From day 1 it squealed and whined, so much so that I had to stop using my PC after a while because the noise was so aggravating. I asked for a replacement which I received the day after. Not 5 minutes after installing it, the brand new unit was squealing and whining just as loudly as the previous one. This is supposed to be a high end power supply but it's a shoddy product. Not sure how else to describe  it. This unit is simply not worth it. I love Corsair but this is just embarrassing. Corsair really let me down with this one.Bottom line, don't buy this power supply. 2 out of 2 power supplies I received were defective, unacceptable, it warrants a 1 star review. Research this product and you'll find this isn't an isolated case. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-01-13 06:37 PM
