Cons: 1. Fan cannot be changed. Unless you know how to solder wires to the little chip.2. Pulls air down, does not blow up towards the laptop3. Fan can be unattached but cannot be reinstalled in such a way as to blow air up towards laptop.4. I have a 15" laptop and it overhangs the edges of this cooler.5. Protective Plastic over fan on bottom is very flimsy and would crack easily if hit accidentally.
Pros: 1. Larger Fan makes it quiet.2. Hi and Lo fan speed.3. On off switch for the LED lights. (saves battery power)4. I got this price matched so paid almost half the price for it.5. Large metal mesh surface good for cooling.6. Metal frame very strong and sturdy. Built to last. |

bought one, then bought another one for a friend, these are quite good.keeps the laptop cool, very quiet - don't know if it's working or not... Even when its not working, it helps the laptop to cool down... I'm quite happy with the product..You can even put it on your lap.. |

I bought this to see if it would help a noisy old Dell laptop run cooler and keep it alive a little longer, as I use it as a backup to be connected to the net and get information while I have my main rig apart. This thing amazed me, I didn't expect such good results. My laptop literally ran about 20 degreesC cooler. Before everything would be 50-60C in my laptop, and with this cooler on low, it runs 30-40C, Very good buy! |

Cons: Does not fit on my 17 inch laptop!The size is just perfect for a 15 inch laptop. So plz if u want to buy this, for your 17, dont buy it!

I got this price matched so paid almost half the price for it. I wanted something I could leave at home so I leave the Enermax cooler at home when I don't do as much work on my laptop. I also bought the Thermaltake 230" cooler which does blow upwards and I have that for work. Because of my laptop internal fan design the Thermaltake actually cools better on my laptop and suits it better for when I am on it for hours at a time.My laptop pulls air from the bottom and exhausts out the side. So the Enermax cooler cannot cool my laptop the additional 22 degress as it states.Making the right choice of a cooler depends on your laptop design.Larger fan = quieter operation.Better cooling for your laptop = design of laptop cooling fan = which direction the fan blows on the cooler.For me this isn't the best choice because of the intake fan on the bottom of my laptop... would be better if this fan was blowing upwards.
