Cons: The back power cord spacing could be better. Support for multiple brick plugs.

Pros: Quiet, sleek, excellent front display, good solid software, switch over is quick and painless and the alarm is there but not annoying.
Comment:
The software always works when plugged in via USB however it's also nice that at some level Windows now nativly supports UPS and detects it as a battery however the shutdown routines and timing and power levels should still be run by the software for better control. My only real gripe to the software and the UPS is the controllers calculation of total running time at present load: in the software it displays for example at the moment a run time of 48 minutes. That runs my router and my computer and one of the displays. When the system switches to battery the timer drops quite dramatically as the batteries are under load. This isn't a defective battery problem more a lack of programming on the systems side. A small gripe but 48 minutes estimated run time to 22 minutes in 12 seconds is a bit much. Still 22 minutes of run time for a big system is excellent! Highly recommended

Pros: Great backup device, looks really nice

It's a great UPS device, was able to use this while power was out over the weekend to back my files up. Had at least 20 minutes of juice left even running on my computer and monitor which I think is really good considering I bought this guy over a year ago.

Cons: - The big blue button cannot be lit off. I put something on it because I find it distracting. Minor problem.- The software only gives the option to shut down when there's 5 minutes of battery left. I think this is a waste. I would much rather have the computer shut down when the battery only has 1-2 minutes left on the battery. There's no reason for me to save a whole 5 mins of battery life. I'm sure this is only because it helps the battery over time remain more efficient, but I find it inconvenient not to have the choice.

Pros: - $150 on sale for 1500VA/900W with LCD.- LCD has useful infos and doesn't remain permanently on.- Software is great with the ability to remove alarms.- Alarms are less frequent than my old (and loud) IBM/APC SUA1500- Not too heavy (again, comparing to my previous APC). Half the weight.- Nice looking
Comment:
Overall I am very happy with this purchase. The minor issues are in no way significant enough to go anywhere else for a 900W UPS. This does the job and if you get it on sale it's a great deal. Recommended.

Cons: -it's heavy? (which is to be expected with a Lead Acid battery)-took a while to ship as it was back ordered

Pros: -great on sale price ($140!)

I've been keeping an eye out for a good UPS for a while, but since this is for a home PC, I wasn't interested in breaking the bank over it. When I saw this on sale for $140, I went for it! It was a simple setup (I didn't bother with CyberPower's software as Win7 recognized a battery backup right away). A simple power plan modification to include battery power, and that was it! The LCD provides useful info as well.My system draws about 150-600W, depending on the load, which should provide me with 7 (at ~600W) to 40 minutes (at ~150W) of battery power. Enough time for me to stop and save any important data, and safely shut down my computer. When it does go on battery power, the warning beep is more of a gentle, "Hey, just so you know, we're on battery power now" level of intensity. Unlike some units that are more along the line of "HEY! HEY! IDIOT! I'M ON BATTERY! DO SOMETHING! NOW!" level of intensity. They get your attention, but they also pvss you off!

Eye-catching uint, well priced. Informative show. I plugged two four-bay Drobos and a Buffalo Tech NAS into this unit to protect my information. The show said the load was ង%. The extremely first time I lost power -- which came back up two minutes later -- I discovered that ALL 3 NAS units had been damaged. The UPS didn't switch over quickly sufficient. I replaced one drive every single on the units but nonetheless lost information. This point is that most hazardous of protection -- a device that Looks like it's operating but isn't, and you don't find out it until the initial time you will need it. Then it's also late. I bought 3 of these and now I don't trust any of them and will have to replace them with an additional brand. Manufacturer Response:Thank you for taking the time to supply feedback concerning the CyberPower CP1500AVRLCD. Based on the unique experience described, we advise that you contact our free technical support to quickly address the situation. I think the concern you have knowledgeable is due to the PFC energy provide in your connected gear. The UPS is compatible with some PFC styles, but not all. A PFC energy supply must use a Pure Sinewave UPS. I got this since the house I live in has the worst wiring on the planet, random combinations of items being turned on in unique rooms lead to fuses to blow and I didn't want to kill my computer with the constant danger of energy loss to my area. Had the unit for two days now and energy to space has currently died once and it held, so it did what I bought it for. Bravo. I genuinely like the LCD screen, tends to make it look cooler and also things like load readout are usefull. Unit also appears excellent, it doesn't have the functional fully un-ascetically pleasing look of the large multi kilowatt units we have at perform. I'm a tiny worried by how low-cost this unit is compared to other 900w units, if the batteries don't hold out for fairly as lengthy as the other guys I don't thoughts, as long as it holds together though with out breaking I'll be happy. The batteries on this point only want to last two or three minutes for me simply because that's how long it requires me to get to my fuze box. I like even though that in the integrated software program it has an option to automatically shut your Pc down if its on batteries for a lot more than x quantity of time, that way I don't have to be concerned about my power going out when I'm not about, the batteries operating dry and then my Pc suffering a tough shutdown anyway.

Does what it's developed to do.Great price tag compared to other comparable UPS. All 8 outlets are surge protected/conditioned, but only four outlets will run if their is a energy-out.Only 900W (but still sufficient for my computer system design and style, will explain). Hardcore (I devote 񘐜 on graphics cards) gamers may possibly want anything else with larger Wattage. I was using Triple SLI style in my case and tripped the breaker in my UPS. Just be conscious that graphics cards can pull 200 - 300 watts or More per card. A simple board, CPU, Memory, and so forth. will pull 250 - 300 watts. Just one thing to preserve in mind when searching at your own computer design and energy needs.Other testimonials I've study suggest that it's critical to read the customers manual and specs. User error isn't a purpose to give a terrible review.

I'm running 225watts consitently, about 21% load, and get an estimated 25 minutes of shutdown time. Had a recent power outage, and this was capable to keep the cable modem/router and safety cameras up and operating for just more than an hour, which was way superior than any other UPS I've owned in the past. Heavy, but they all appear to be. The blue power LED switch on the front is the ultimate nightlight and kid magnet. Some black electrical tape will go a extended way. Nicely worth the cash, and strong quality.

Takes up significantly less space than my preceding UPS and has additional wattage as effectively. Cool LCD screen (but I in no way really use it considerably). Nice interface and plenty of technobable stuff for the will need to know base stuff This isnt truly a con in most strategies but the LCD screen turns off right after so a lot of minutes of non-use(Pushing by way of the button to get the screen you want to show) I now have a very bright blue nightlight. (the energy button) At instances when I initial started making use of this I was wondeering how stable my energy was and what exactley it was doing when I started a game and so on. But the screen would turn off soon after so several seconds/minutes of non use it became useless for what I was searching for. Although it does make it rather nice that it isnt utilizing far more power(even if its just a tiny) to just show what its performing. I just wish I had a choice to tell it when and if to turn off the show. I was on a price range(after acquiring a new laptop ) and necessary a new UPS. Was leery mainly because of this UPS becoming produced in China but it appears to be working and doing its job just fine...so far after two months use. If it last two years I will be happy enough. I plan on getting a greater good quality asap and use this on my secondary computer system.

The UPS is much less costly than competitive models from APC, Tripplite, and other people. Came with a mostly charged battery. Plug it in, and it operates. The software program provides quite restricted functionality (as opposed to the non-individual editions - and why UPS producers skimp on the s/w never made sense to me). None thus far The reason for offering this assessment is that quite a few folks have expressed issues/related problems working with UPS'es of this variety with PFC power supplies. My energy supply is an Antec CP-850 and I can report absolutely no challenges.FYI: This UPS was purchased to replace a 7+ year old APC BR-1000 which died quickly and unexpectedly for the duration of an electric storm.
