I bought this to keep my computer and other valued items protected during our weather related power outages. It came fully charged and was very easy to install. Be sure to follow the directios that come with the unit. The display is great as it lets you know the amount of time allowed to shut things down safely and lets you know how much power reserve is being used. I like the program that lets the unit shut your computer down in the amount of time you select for a safe shut down without the sudden crash of your computer. |

I am looking for my 3rd Cyberpower Battery Backup; They are great to use, easy, with many house power flucturations, it always keeps what I was working on; warns me. Tech & service help, has always been wonderful; great customer service. Only Problem is that they seem to wear out in 3rd yr warranty, right on date it is to expire!! Other than that, love them, now looking to purchase a new one. Excellent buy, easy for great Nannies! |

I bought this UPC because I had upgraded my PC with a newer video card and Power Supply so my old UPC was not powerful enough and I wanted to add battery backup capabilty for my cable modem and router. Now, I have my Cable Modem, Router, Monitor and PC plugged in to the four battery backup slots and it shows about 70% utilization. Of note, this UPC includes a coaxial |

I purchased this product after careful consideration of all products in the catagory. I determined this one perhaps fit my needs and I was correct. This backup has not only performed to expectations, but it has outperformed. It is small yet powerful. It has saved my computer system and my Mackie mixer board already a few times. Lightning has played it's spring games here as usual and this has been a life savor. I recommend this to anyone that has a computer, monitor, and perhaps another item to plug in that you may wish to save from brownouts or spikes and electrical blackouts. |

I bought this product due to some spring wind storms that caused our house to temporarily lose power. Seeing my screen go blank while in the middle of a task and then wondering if my PC will start up again are NOT good feelings. The UPS arrived quickly (thanks,!) and was easy to set up. Of course, since I've purchased the UPS we have had no more power outtages, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time. This model is a little pricey, but I have a hefty gaming system and probably need the extra battery capacity. |

Much nicer than others I've had before. I like the GUI and it has already been put to the test with storms here in the midwest and worked perfectly. I would reccommend this product for anyone looking for great value and performance in a UPS |

I bought 3 of these to protect 3 Linux-based fileservers that are part a scientific computing workstation cluster. the fileserver/workstations vary from an archaic Pentium III machine to a spanking-new quad-core workstation. The most ancient of my machines only draws 80W, and the quad-core just under 200 W. These UPS units have plenty of capacity to skate by power skips and surges and provide for an orderly shutdown for longer outages. The mfgr-supplied PowerPanel linux app works just fine, but you could use NUT, too if you need a GUI. Linux PowerPanel was very easy to install and configure. You will require a relatively recent Linux distro--I had to update my RedHat 9 machines to talk to the UPS. According to the LCD panel display on front (really nice) my ancient server will run almost an hour on battery power, my quad-core system about 15 minutes. Not bad for just over $100. Thanks, Tiger! |
I have two of these and they both work great. We got a surprising number of brown-outs recently, but these UPSes have kept all computers running long enough to turn them off. No complaints at all.An added perk is that they tell you how much power your system is consuming. I have no way of knowing how accurate the measurement is, but it must be in the right ballpark.
