I was trying to free up a 3.5" bay with a card reader in it. This was just what I needed. Works well and the price was right when it was on sale. Can't complain. |

Bought this onsale for $8.99 as an impulse buy. I am pleasantly surprised as how useful it is because my other readers did not have SDHC or SIM card capability. It's the only reader I use now. |

Maximum throughput on this reader is around 14.3MB/s, which is pretty decent for a such a small, cheap unit. |

Needed a card reader to read my sd camera card. I much prefer using a card reader than using a usb cable attached to my camera, as my camera only uses batteries.This was on sale, and the cheapest available.I thought it was interesting that it had a micro sd slot. I am use to needing a micro to full sized sd card adapter in order to read micro sd; this is definitely an added bonus.Have not tried the sim card reader; I really have no need for it. I may play with it later. |
great little card ready, works great. Fast, compact and easy to use. Reads lots of formats. I didn't have any available headers on my mobo for an internal card reader (too many USB ports are needed) so this was a great alternative
