Cons:
Ram slots are a little close to the socket and higher end coolers may have a clearance issue when using ddr3 with tall heat spreaders.

The "sound card" is a bit gimmicky and not a true X-Fi solution. Pricey for some.

Probably the best motherboard I have ever owned since I started building PC's back in 2000. I have owned MB's from ASUS, Abit, MSI, and Gigabyte in the past but this one was truly impressive.Loaded with features for overclocking and the amount of control you have in the BIOS is just phenomenal. Runs my X4 955 g 3.8 stable and my RAM at 1600 with no problems. Plenty of LED indicators on the board. LCD poster comes in handy. The only drawback is the sound card is not a true X-Fi solution. It's some other chip that's able to use a limited version of X-Fi drivers. Other than, very solid board. |

Cons: -Not 6GB SATA-Price is not bad for what you get but it could be cheaper-Not many SATA ports, this is supposed to be for gamers

Overall, a good motherboard for the price.A few more SATA ports would be nice. A slightly cheaper price would also be nice.But it is hard to find a good AM3 board and this is a good AM3 board. Well not hard to find but not as easy as a good LGA1366 board. |

Cons: Pretty barren for a R.O.G. board,but i guess thats why the price is reasonable.Pricey compared to the MA790fxt-ud5p.

Picked this up after i nuked my MA790fxt-ud5p with a leak from my rad(mental note......double check the bleed off screw after you use it).Good overclocking,pretty skimpy on the sata ports though.Looks really good in a windowed case. |
This paired with a phenom II x4 965 Black oc to 4ghz and 2 hd4870's in crossfire and this thing tears up any game with ease. Excellent features and very well laid out board save for the ram slots that may end up having clearance problems. Very happy with it and definitely recommend for gaming and overclocking.
