The add to cart button was grey for as long as I wanted to buy this board, I ultimately got it following sniping and camping next my old pc for days, I’m glad I had adequate marshmallows on my camping trip, It was worth it. Just before reviewing this board I want to thank Newegg for their fast shipping, I was going to betray them and go with that business named after the biggest river in south America considering that they had it in stock at that time for the similar price but their shipping and processing was a nightmare, you acquire the solution and wait and wait for it to ship for days at finish, they don’t even course of action and charge your card for days, which is very good cause I canceled my order as soon as I saw it readily available on the egg. It kinda reminded me of when I was obtaining my outdated now ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI X16 ATX AMD Motherboard. It was often out of stock and when it showed up it disappeared once more promptly just before you even enter you shipping info. This board is the deal to beat today because AMD X6 is the king now for its value/performance ratio, AMD genuinely came up with a processor to worry Intel, I can’t say much more than anybody else it terms of how great of a performer or more than clocker this board is, but I inform you this: This Formula four and AMD 1090T or much better yet 1100T is a really nice formula that won’t be obsolete for years to come. And if you’re not significantly of an more than clocker it’s still a sweet board to have, Assume of it as if you’re purchasing a Lamborghini for its power that you’ll under no circumstances going to use at complete, but it puts a smile on your face when you know what’s under your hood. The Intense version of this board has a Bluetooth adapter and a chip that makes it possible for you add mismatched video cards for SLI or CFX, although it sounds fantastic on paper it’s nevertheless a new technologies that demands to mature before adoption or you could run into problems like with the Intel sandy bridge and P67 boards. If you see in stock just click add to cart and feel about it later, mainly because by the time you accomplished considering it won’t be in stock any longer.

My 2nd complete make, and second ASUS Mobo to fantastic impact. CrosshairsIV has numerous entertaining capabilities, can't wait to experiment. Almost everything worked the first time, and just as the book mentioned. New style memory stick locks (lock only on a single side) are a lot more difficult to see when a stick is not in right, in particular beneath a cooling tower. Took many attempts to be certain it was in absolutely. CrosshairsIV, 1090 X6, GSkill 7-7-7-21 2x4gb, Sapphire 6590 VC, Scythe CPU cooler, Lite-on 3D Blue Ray burner, in old Ammo case tends to make it a sleeper.

ASUS. Constantly had great luck with them. I bought a COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 aftermarket cooler. With how the CPU and memory is configured, two of my four memory slots are covered up by the cooler. I kind of anticipated this so I bought RAM that had little heatsink. Some of the RAM sticks with huge heatsinks WOULDN'T fit with my configuation.I could use much more than 7 SATA ports, especially with no IDE (PATA) ports, on a board in this price range. Excellent so far!

Arrived on schedule. Packaging wasn't negative and included lots of extras such as SATA2 and SATA3 cables. No issues mounting the processor or the stock cooler that came with my Phenom II X4 965. Lots of functions for overclocking (haven't attempted to overclock with it yet). MemOK is a cool feature in case a memory incapatability crashes your program, and the mobo supports my 2 year old 2X2GB Crucial Ballistix so it seems to have very good help for even older RAM. Integrated a lot of added software (other than the essential drivers) on the included CD-ROM. No crashes hence far. The factors I didn't give it 5 eggs are in my cons (obviously). The most annoying and frustrating problem I've had is with the audio drivers. The documentation states that the mobo has integrated Sound Blaster X-Fi audio codecs and hardware (or at least that's what it implies), but the actual hardware is By way of manufactured, which is not only unnerving from a consumer point-of-view, but when I have the By way of drivers installed, I have issues with sound. These aren't severe concerns but they are beyond annoying and it's not what you'd anticipate from a higher-end ASUS board. Problems are as follows and go on the assumption that I've installed the By means of driversɅ. Just before ANY Windows sound (such as the startup tune, UI sounds while navigating, and so forth) plays there is an nearly inaudible pop, and then a short pause that happens prior to the sound truly plays. This also occurs when playing music from mp3. I don't knowledge the pops even though playing games (New Vegas, for example) but the DELAY is there, which is merely unacceptable for a gamer. Cons continuedɆ. The advertised Sound Blaster X-Fi codecs are not constructed-in to the motherboard at the hardware level, but just come included on the CD. I can't tension this adequate: This motherboard DOES NOT have any Sound Blaster hardware "built-in" and I am certain (after troubleshooting for 2 or 3 hours) that the By means of DRIVERS are what is causing these annoying pops and audio delays. The remedy the audio difficulty was to absolutely Uninstall all audio devices in Device Manager, then either restart the Computer or "Scan For Hardware Modifications" which Must lead to Windows (I'm making use of Win 7 x64) to set up generic drivers for the sound hardware. Windows DOES recognize the audio bus as high-definition, and the pops and delays are entirely gone. The only downside to this is that I can not use the Sound Blaster computer software (which has some quite neat functions) unless the Through drivers are installed. I just hope By way of and/or ASUS releases some much better drivers for this Through hardware.

And although this mobo in no way stated that it would, it undoubtedly did. Great mobo. Upgraded from an MSI that was operating ddr2. This mobo is heavy duty. Set up was really effortless and was able to use the backplate for my H50 cpu watercooler devoid of a issue.Lots of functions on this board and the bios are incredibly in depth and effortless to use for overclocking. Cost I guess but this point is strong and worth it. Had to set my timings for ram manually but that's the case with nearly any motherboard.I would acquire this board again.

it does what it is supposed to do; too numerous bells and whistles which are seriously unuseful poor pcie slots layout style; lack of IDE ports; inexpensive sound card; all round, way overpriced (somewhere amongst 财 and 贶 will be more reasonable); annoying utility application for non-gamers if you are not a gamer make you a favor and save ๖-80 by going with a significantly less "sophisticated" motherboard

This was extremely effortless to install and has the performance that I wanted. I had zero concerns placing this motherboard in on a Computer that I constructed from scratch for the first time. I had to reference the manual a couple of instances but zero troubles. Tons of boot up possibilities. I honestly know really tiny about OC but this thing does it on the push of a button. It automatically optimizes the OC from the desktop. To trickery required. It is comparable to presets but created to be adaptive. This factor is great! Doesn't come with fries!

This board has worked good for me. I will only get an ASUS board now. The Bios is wonderful for anything you want to do, and there's far more than adequate space for what ever you want to slap on it. Had it for four months now and has done almost every little thing I've asked it to do... ...I say most everything since I can not get the on-board Raid to work adequately. I get the feeling it is a Bios issue, but the problems is i'm too considerably of a wuss to flash the Bios. This board appears as good as it preforms. Phenom II x6 @ three.2Ghz8Gb G. so I have a phenom two x4 970 unoverclocked, 850 watt powersupply, XFX radeon 5870, eight gigs corsair vengeance, four gigs g-ability trident ram to start with 1st mobo blew and took 1 stick of ram, the psu, and honestly it took alot of cash over the past year and a half to keep this personal computer up and i honestly hate my personal computer becuase of it, all four of the boards i had to replace the psu and the moards and in one case the RAM, just recently i had to replace my keyboard and mouse due to a overload that fried them, soon after i replaced the faulty components i realized the mouse and keyboard went with it. actually excellent stuff on it, fast (untill the day it overloads and you end up paying for new stuff), just will need to repair the problems with the frying if possible....

This was my initial private develop and let me just say WoW!!!!This MB was made for the pro's in thoughts, but! and I mean but this MB has so a lot of issues that make it fantastic for anyone that I would recommend for these that just want a greater finish MB. 1st! The boot up lights and error lights make this so effortless to fully grasp when attempting to build, or comprehend a difficulty that may be taking place. Second the manual that comes with this MB is leading notch! so do not be afraid you will not know how to hook it up.3rd! The bios has set it and neglect it alternatives that are fantastic! Such as fan %, or tolerances that when easily set you under no circumstances have to worry about the tower's air flow. The static shielded i/o panel is really nice and I really feel it genuinely assists minimize probabilities of static triggered concerns, but since of the i/o foam that is on the panel you will have to press the MB securely into place prior to you can tight the screws into the standoffs. This factor looks wonderful!Lots of selections! Much more fan headers then you will ever want!

A lot of connectivity, excellent layout, eye-catching color scheme, strong board, ability to unlock dormant cores, AM3, SataIII, USB three., good overclocking features and assistance, lots of fan connectors and accessories. Recognized all of my hardware and posted correct away. Onboard SupremeFX XFI is like obtaining a committed card constructed in, very loud! This is my initially high-end board and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm new to overclocking so I wanted something that would give me lots of options to get additional overall performance out of my new construct but not make it as well tricky. You can overclock three techniques with this board; The Asus AI Suite, manually by way of the BIOS, or working with ROG Connect and overclock from another laptop in realtime. Employing AI Suite I overclocked my AMD Phenom II Callisto 555 from three.two to three.7 in just a few clicks. I also unlocked the 3rd core on the exact same CPU.My hat goes off to Asus for making a killer motherboard. I'll certainly acquire from them once more None The DIMM slots are set up a little distinct than what I am utilised to. You only need to latch one side down rather of each. Its not negative enough to eliminate and egg but worth mentioning as it caught me by surprise.

Greatest set up I ever did. This issue is cool hunting but looks aint is. It performs. The overclocking prospective is practically too considerably. I utilized one particular of the "Easy utilities" and have a 6 core Thuban operating at just over 4 gig and that was following pressing just 1 button. Lotsa area to stuff video cards in. Fan connectors out the wazoo. I just don't know what to say, I've by no means had a MOBO with this substantially potential. If you are seriously considering about it, don't let the price scare you. Just pull the trigger and get it. It will not disappoint. The Northbridge does run hot ࿒C) but that's no large deal. I need to have to figure how to get it off and replace the el cheapo thermal paste (or worse...a thermal pad) with some Noctua paste which is the tech industries gift to its beloved geeks. Perhaps I just point a fan at it and see what happens. Anyhow, no biggie and NOT A Obtaining CONSIDERATION. This is not just a MOBO but a perform of art. I have not even begun to explore all the included coolness. You can clock this thing to the point of becoming in genuine danger of a warp core implosion. AMD, if you are reading this, I WANT eight CORES on a AM3 platform! ASUS, if you are reading this, take Dave off of the Northbridge assembly unit. He is smoking weed in the parking lot ahead of perform. If this function is perrformed by a robot, the guy programming the robot is smoking weed with Dave! Typical ASUS, this is a flagship item! Get your act collectively. Make a business policy that your people only toke a couple of bong hits Soon after Perform!

appears seriously cool, nice attributes board would hang on vga post unless i cleared cmos after every time it failed--which was just about every other time i turned the factor on. I purchased and replaced every single attainable component (psu, video card, ram) spent endless hours troublshooting and income to attempt to fix to no avail. asus tech was min. useful; newegg was good and let me return it. my experience with this board was a nightmare--and yes there is a northbridge heat challenge. dont obtain open box items; wait for verified technology and reliability by waiting 1yr soon after one thing new comes out, then study the track record of the product prior to acquiring it. you will be behind the curve for new features but will know your acquiring a thing reliable.
